Came here for lunch, was seated immediately. We started with clams, it was okay but pretty small portion for $16. I ordered the lamb chops, it was good and had a really good flavor to it. We also ordered the ny sirloin medium rare, it kind of tasted rare at the ends but nonetheless it was delicious. Had a berry mocktail that tasted like a strawberry açaí from Starbucks but surprisingly, it paired well with the meat. Servers were attentive and the ambiance was nice. Only odd thing was that when receiving the bill, they told us they added gratuity already, I'm not sure if that is normal and they do that for all tables or because they assumed we wouldn't tip.

We recently had a great experience at Prime 1024! We came for lunch and sat outside, I believe they have a different lunch menu than dinner. We ordered the Robiola Tartufo pizza as an appetizer, and for our main dishes, we ordered chicken parm and Pappardelle Al Ragu. We also ordered a side of Brussels sprouts. Everything was fresh and so flavorful. Their outdoor seating is really nice with walls up so it feels more like private dining. Every time we are here, the service is amazing; they have great waiters and waitresses. If you order one thing here, let it be the Brussels sprouts, they are the best ever!

Volcano roll

TLDR: it's good not great enough for the price and location but the service is pretty great. The food didn't have the flavor you'd expect for the price. There is a focus on aesthetics for sure. What did have good flavor was the volcano roll and the vanilla ice cream. The drinks could use more balancing, the ribeye steak was underwhelming in size and flavor. I would skip the fries and cheesecake all together. The apple tart is a good dessert. What saves them is their great servers and valet. Truly no complaints.

Came here for a work dinner. Very nice place in upscale area of Manhasset. They have steak and seafood along with sushi. They also have a 49$ fixed price menu that is a steal. I had the cobb salad, ribeye steak and asparagus. The service is excellent and always attentive.

Service was amazing our hostess mackenzie was very gracious she sat us at the perfect booth we could see the restaurant staff was very efficient we had edison as our waiter and he was amazing Service was very good we had for apps Mediterranean salad and the barrata tomatoes with fig jam and the cheese very delicious we tried the watermelon mojito, a dirty martini, the melot dinner was lamb chops, chicken parm, and filet mignon like butter!!! Truffle mac and cheese creamer brule'e for the birthday girl (very beautiful rest room)

Steak with great fries

Food was good especially bacon and clams appetizers. Steak was good too with enough to take home. Lychee Martini was one of the best I've had. Did the prefixed. Would recommend!Server was very attentive. Ambiance relaxing not over crowded.

Sirloin Steak (medium)

Came here for an engagement party and was seated in the larger room that you can walk straight towards upon entry. The servers made themselves available and actively took repeat orders throughout the night. The Sirloin and Skirt steaks were great. It was a solid steakhouse, decent for a fancy date night but I may look for other Long Island steakhouses to frequent. The ambiance, mood and work ethic of waitstaff helped. For the frugal, if you go on a slow night, you can bypass valet and park your vehicle by yourself. Good: -Meatballs -Caesar Salad -Calamari -Food served all family style -Decor -Service was willing and able -Sirloin steak was great -Skirt steak was flavorful Bad: -The Brazino did not have any flavor (I think it was sea bass filet)

The service is kind and attentive. We particularly appreciated how nice the outdoor dining is and how you can have your own heated space. The indoor dining is more happening so it's really what kind of experience you want. We ate outside and the service was still attentive which was great. The food was good but not great, especially at the high price point. The French onion soup was good but not great; I wouldn't order it again. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked and flavorful but seemed a bit smaller than 10 oz. The Brussel sprouts were well cooked and sweet, but could have been better with a bit of kick like red pepper. The burger was good but the fries lacking. They were flavorless steak fries that tasted like something you buy frozen and heat up. The wine selection was good. We didn't try the cocktails but they looked interesting. Great experience overall and convenient location and parking. There is both valet and regular parking lot, one on each side of the restaurant.

We came here last night for dinner and we absolutely loved it . The wait wasn't bad , the ambiance at this location is super modern , has a beautiful bar and huge tables . Now down to the food , they bring a bread basket with this lovely butter , Olive oil and tyme spread which was delicious. We got the calamari as the appetizer which was perfect . My husband got the lamb chops with spinach and I got the porter house with French fries and the food was all amazing . Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service could have been a bit better . It was Saturday night I get it was busy but to get my waiter's attention was difficult, the wait times were really long between meals because getting him to come to us was the issue . They have valet which is great and the prices were good i believe. Very reasonable for 2 people . We would definitely return

We were in town for Thanksgiving and our family members who live in Great Neck made a dinner reservation at this restaurant. It was a very good choice. Both the outside and inside of this restaurant is beautiful. The menu has a lot of variety including appetizers, salads, soups, sushi, pizza, seafood, pasta and steaks. Our party of seven had the arugula salad, the caprese salad, calamari, sex on the beach sushi roll, branzino, sea bass, salmon, chicken parmesan, and one other sushi roll. All of the dishes were nice size portions, and were very tasty. The presentation was also beautiful. Service was friendly and professional. We will definitely return to this restaurant when in this area again.

We went this evening with a party of ten. The food was delicious and the service was great. We loved the spicy tuna crispy rice and branzino. The lychee martini and espresso martini were perfect.

Tayna C.

While the presentation is beautiful, the steaks Are flavorless and bland and chewy. Service is fast and efficient. Burgers are amazing! The ambience is great and welcoming.

Pan fried Brussels sprouts- yummy!

The food is amazing - it's now a sushi and premium steak restaurant with a hint of Italian dishes on the menu! Peter Luger is nearby with great steaks and nothing really else you can choose from. Here at Prime 1024 there is great steak and great seafood options and even great Italian pasta dishes too! Had 48 oz porterhouse steak - delectable! Jumbo Shrimp with creamy truffle sauce was delish and Naruto sushi roll was fresh and delish! Service was beyond excellent! Thank you to our waiters especially Edison, David and German- couldn't have asked for a better team to give us great service. My family and friends will be back for more at this elegant place to eat !

Is this a good place for single 30-somethings to meet? What night is best to go?

No. This is not a bar. This is a place where friends would go. Maybe a friend can bring someone for you to meet.

Imagine the sound decimal of Applebees. However it's not off putting more so welcoming so as to not make you feel uncomfortable in an environment that is just the cutting of steaks. The servers are so helpful and conversational as well as polite. I had the Melon and Prosciutto, the Prime Sirloin Medium, amazing Mashed Potatoes, as well as Brussels Sprouts. All of which i recommend except for the last one, as I love sprouts and these I was not too crazy about. To end the night we both tried something new which was Pecan Pie with ice cream. I'm not the biggest nut fan BUT even I can admit the pie was (Will say I did steal pieces of my partners Colorado Rib Steak, the seasoning on it was perfect and I will be getting that next time!)

I don't remember how the food was because I don't recall being able to taste anything. Well we've been told we needed to try it so we finally did. Daughter and hubby are big foodies and love steak so we took the plunge. We started with a Caesar salad, tuna tartare and melon prosciutto. The Caesar dressing was thinner than expected so the salad felt it was covered in liquid rather than a dressing. Taste was fine but not necessarily Caesar like. The tuna tartare needed the wasabi sauce to flavor the fish. Favorite app was the Melon with prosciutto. The melon was refreshing and sweet and paired really well with the salty meat. We then ordered the porterhouse for 3 medium rare, baked potato and creamed spinach. I guess we're used to a more buttery and moist steak, the steak temperature was right but hubby and daughter had to salt it which I rarely see them do at high end steak houses. We enjoyed the creamed spinach. Hubby ordered coffee and we shared a pecan pie Ala mode which we finished. All in all I couldn't give 4 stars because I won't choose to return. There was a rotating staff service, dirty appetizer dishes and service was not very attentive. I know people love this place but I just couldn't get there...

My first impression of the place was that it was beautiful inside and the lounge area was very cosy with a fireplace and couches. There's a bar area and seating both upstairs and downstairs on the main dining level. We were seated upstairs where it felt a bit cramped as they had placed 7 seats around one circular table. I had sat in the chair with the back to the wall and it was a tight fit and I could barely move my chair. The other tables were placed very close together and I could hear the nearby tables' conversations with how loud the noise level was. It was a busy Sunday afternoon and my family and I were starving and ready to order, but we experienced a bit of a wait since our server was attending to other tables. The waiter was friendly but the delay was noticeable. Now onto the food, overall it was average with some hits and misses. I highly recommend the fried calamari and Mac and cheese as appetizers. Both were very delicious. For drinks, I ordered the cold blooded margarita and loved it so much. I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict but found the hollandaise sauce to be a bit too salty. There was a mix up with my order so while everyone else received their meals I had to wait a while for my order to be corrected. I was disappointed with the portion size of the home fries as it was quite small and barely had any potatoes. My mom ordered the steak and eggs and she liked how perfectly seasoned the steak was. Overall, service could be better and I'm willing to give the food another chance. There is also both valet parking and street parking available.

The restaurant, Gatsby's Landing, draws its name from the romantic nostalgia of The Great Gatsby. Situated near the Long Island Sound and Roslyn Pond, the setting offered a beautiful waterfront ambiance. My wife opted for the Baby Roasted Beets Salad, Salmon, and Crème Brûlée, while I chose the Lobster Bisque, Squid Ink Tonnarelli, and Tiramisu. The menu highlights their commitment to fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients - a promise they certainly delivered on. The dishes were both delicious and generously portioned. It was clear the kitchen doesn't skimp on quality; for instance, the lobster bisque was loaded with tender lobster meat, the squid ink tonnarelli featured an abundance of blue crab, and the salmon was a substantial, thick-cut fillet. The chef clearly possesses a mastery of technique, knowing exactly how to pair garnishes and balance flavors in perfect harmony. Furthermore, the waitstaff was both diligent and courteous. We can see why this establishment is so popular--the combination of exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and the serene lake views is hard to beat. However, there is one area for improvement: the restaurant should consider replacing their current chipped plates with larger, more elegant dinnerware. High-quality presentation would better reflect the dignity and caliber of the food they serve.

Hi Brian, I appreciate you responding, but I need to be…read moreclear--this isn't based on one visit. I grew up in Roslyn and have been coming to that location long before Mim's, and continued when you took it over. I've been a loyal customer for years, which is why this feedback comes from repeated, recent experiences--not a single off night. The decline has been consistent. The atmosphere has changed significantly, the bar has been empty on multiple visits, and the level of service and overall energy are nowhere near what they once were. As for the food, I did bring it to the bartender's attention and even gave him a piece of the steak to try. He acknowledged it and mentioned putting it back on the grill, but at that point it would have overcooked. The steak had also been pre-sliced before it came out, which likely contributed to it being cold. The potatoes were cold as well. What's most disappointing, though, is your response. Dismissing this as a one-off and saying you'll focus on the guests who are there today comes across as if losing longtime customers isn't a concern. That's a mistake. It's not just me--you haven't just lost one customer, you've lost me and several of my friends who used to come in regularly. I'm not interested in going back and forth. I'm telling you directly, as someone who supported this place for years, that the experience has changed for the worse--and responses like this only reinforce that. I do hope you take that seriously. Best, Robin

Areas of opportunity to note although these would not stop me from recommending this place. 1) the coat check for the whole upstairs was located in the private room. So every time someone needed a coat, the staff would walk through our party to go get the coats. 2) there was a huge crack in the glass table which was very noticeable since the table had a design on it so when the light came through the crack was very noticeable.
