My friend and I had the three-course prix fixe lunch with a glass of house wine this afternoon. The service was outstanding and was definitely the highlight of our visit. From the moment we walked in, the manager welcomed us warmly, and the entire team was friendly, attentive, and professional. Our server, Edisson R. L., provided excellent service throughout our meal. I had dined here several times before, and I was pleasantly surprised that Edisson recognized me right away and greeted me warmly. That personal touch made us feel like valued guests. The food was flavorful, and we enjoyed most of the courses. My only disappointment was the portion size. Compared to the prix fixe lunch at my favorite Long Island restaurant, the appetizer and entrée portions here were noticeably smaller, even though the price was higher. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked and flavorful but seemed a bit smaller than 10 oz. The Brussel sprouts were well cooked and sweet, but could have been better with a bit of kick like red pepper. I found myself at Prime 1024 for an educational dinner. I don't find myself on LI too often, and as such am not too familiar with the offerings out here (plz don't judge, LI Elites :-). Anyway, a steakhouse checks out for educational dinners like these, and even though I'm not the biggest red meat eater I was excited to learn and check this place out. Walking in, I was greeted by a large, open dining room. The aesthetics and decor were atypical for a steakhouse but also really lovely. Super high ceilings, lots of windows to bring in natural light, and touches of color on the booths that were attractive to the eye. We were seated in a private room which wasn't as pretty but still very comfortable. As with the majority of educational dinners I've been to, the menu was mostly prix fixe, with our choice of mains. We were started with a couple of salads - Caesar and Greek. Both were good, nothing too outstanding but all the ingredients were fresh and dressed nicely. They also served us some bread which came with (I think) crème fraîche - a refreshing change from butter. For mains, we had a choice of a few - obviously steak but also a couple of fish, chicken, and vegetable dishes. I opted not to have steak, and instead went with the chicken. This was quite good - a mixture of light and dark meat sitting in a really flavorful broth. They also brought out sides of potatoes and asparagus which were good too. For dessert, we split cheesecake and tiramisu - both were fine. Service was great - everyone was really friendly and the food came out at a good pace. Overall, for being an educational dinner I had a good experience at Prime 1024. This isn't my usual stomping grounds, but if circumstances found me back here I wouldn't be disappointed. read more

The drink menu looked so good, but I just stuck with a dirty martini. I'm glad I did though because it was one of the best I've ever had! We both got the skirt steak and then a side of mashed potatoes. It was delicious, and I even had some leftover for lunch the next day. We also got the baked clams and a shrimp tempura roll for apps, which we enjoyed. Of course we had to leave room for some dessert, so we went with the lava cake. Prime 1024 is where I decided to have my birthday, and I give them an honest 4 stars because of the service, design and decor, not because of the food. The place is gorgeous, spacious, finely decorated and intimate. I had my family and my girlfriends family together to celebrate my big 35, and we all had a lovely night. We got waited on hand and foot, the servers, the runners, took care of all my guests needs whatever they wanted, we had a party of 9 others besides me. The food, honestly, was very average. I had the Tuna, and it was alright. The salad was bland. My girlfriend said the pasta wasn't special, my parents also said the same thing. So overall the food itself was like 3 stars-ish. The price though is very suitable for this upscale location, we all had dinner and a bottle of prosecco for about $800 including Tip. For 10 people ordering Apps and Mains, that's pretty decent. 4 stars. Great place and people. Kitchen needs some help but would give a try again. read more

I didn't like my cocktail (it was not balanced at all), it was replaced by another one which was much better... A great meal indeed with a very attentive service... So the 4 stars for my dish and the venue. I ordered the $35 lunch prix fixe which came with an app, entree and dessert. I got the bacon, salmon and mango sorbet. I was very happy with my choices. The bacon was tasty, just the right amount of sweet and salty. The salmon was actually a nicely sized portion, cooked to a nice medium so was not too dry and the skin was perfectly crispy. There were 2 scoops of sorbet although I was told it would only be one. Had I known I would have gotten two different flavors. The venue is beautiful and they have these partitions which were pretty good at containing loud conversations from other tables. The negatives were a few. We were one of 3 parties at lunch yet the food took a while in between courses. The entrees came out missing one which took a while, not sure if the kitchen missed a dish and had to rush? The salad that came with the chicken was overdressed and salty. A friend ordered the lobster roll but had to send it back as it was still raw. They obviously took it off the bill but they pushed her to order a dessert which she didn't want and barely ate but was charged for it. The regular coffee was piping hot but the decaf was lukewarm. All in all I would like to give this place another chance because my meal was actually pretty fantastic. Just sad that my friends' experiences were not on par with mine. read more

The food here is always good - I got the clams oreganata to start, branzino as a main (so delicious cooked to perfection) and tiramisu for dessert (blew my mind) TBH the branzino is at the top of my list and the tiramisu gets 5 stars on its own. Wish I had some pics but was catching up with family 5 people so got carried away and forgot pics - maybe next time If trying to catch up with a big group I recommend this place they also have prefix dinner and there's something on the prefix menu for everyone. Came here for a family dinner and it was an awful experience. We got the back room as we were a table of 14 people. With the door closed it was unbearably hot. With the door open we couldn't hear the conversation. Then the service was extremely rude. They called my mom "lady". They were quite racist. They never refilled our waters. The food itself was pretty bad as well. I got the pork chop and it barely had any flavor on it. I will say the crab cake appetizer was amazing though. The mussels also were bland. When she brought my food back out I'm certain they just reheated the same piece of lobster that had the hair on it. For a 400 dollar meal it was a let down.
