Found myself in fells and stumbled upon prima dopo. Saw a few familiar faces from the canton square, maybe it's same management as el buf and raw and refined First and foremost, the design is insane. Accent pieces I wanted to borrow for my home everywhere. Crowd was awesome, wait for dinner wasn't bad and was well worth it. Tried the in the loupe and was surprised with how quickly it came out, it was bomb and disappeared into my liver before I could really enjoy it. Tried a dirty martini next, could've used blue cheese stuffed olives. Calamari starter was the usual, fried squid. But holy shit the sauce! Duck confit pizza followed and while I'm not usually a white pizza guy, I really appreciated the creamy texture. Reminded me of Iggie's confit pizza for you baltimore old timers. Splurged on the veal for dinner, I almost didn't want to save any for my dog, it was clearly made with love. Was too stuffed for dessert, lesson learned for next time. Highly recommend it and glad I stumbled on it. Couldn't believe it was a new restaurant. Service was on point, crowd was what makes baltimore so much fun. Everyone from everywhere having fun with cool stories to tell. Def a good dinner date or drinks spot and much needed in Fells which was getting a little stale. read more
