These ladies are fast and their work lasts. Limited color choices but with it to not spend all day at the salon. My only complaint is that the stations are dusty - not dirty just dusty. So I would love it if they would wipe down in between customers. But overall it's a great place to go when you are in a hurry, need your nails to last or just don't feel like spending all day getting them done. And the prices are super reasonable. read more

I would not come to this place. I felt that the owner discriminated against me. The first time that I came here everyone was so nice. I spent over $115 plus tipped over 20%. I came two weeks later for a fill-in. This time I was on a little bit budget because I'm making a big payment for my upcoming wedding. The owner this time made me pay in advanced as if I would have walked out without paying. What a horrible and embarrassing feeling! Stopped in after work to get a mani pedi. I got an express pedi and they went above and beyond (my feet are so soft). The workers made me feel extremely comfortable and were so friendly. I usually hate getting short acrylics because they normally look chunky asf, but Im starting a new job and shorter nails are required. Needless to say my nails turned out perfect. Great place to relax and have some fun girl time! I have been going here for almost four years. The shaping and thickness of their nails are awesome. And the pedicures are very detailed. She always gets ingrown under control and makes them look nice. My pedi's last almost a month! Suki & Sarah both equally do a great job. Asked for a gel manicure. Paid a lot of money just to get nails painted. Cuticles were never even touched. Manicure lasted about 5 minutes. When the lady finished painting she squirted soap in my hand and told me to go to the sink and "exfoliate". When I went back to the chair she had already started on someone else. I'm new to Jax and was looking for a quality nail salon. About two weeks ago, I started reading reviews, and this was the 1st salon I went to based on those reviews. First, let me say that both ladies working were incredibly nice and extremely fun to talk to. I TRULY wanted them to do a good job for me because I sincerely enjoyed our convos and would have loved to have made them my Jax nail salon. Unfortunately, the quality of work was just severely lacking. When I arrived, I asked if they knew how to do SNS nails, and was assured that they do. I was confused when Suki didn't do them the way my nail tech of many yrs at home did them, and I commented as much. However, I also acknowledged that there is usually more than one way to do things and tried to keep an open mind. First, she painted GLUE on my nails and then dipped them in the powder ... GLUE! I was getting French and she didn't use a French Dip Tray, and instead dipped my nail directly into the white powder jar ... the results were that the white went straight across my nail instead of curving at the cuticles like it should. Ok, fine, that's a little thing that isn't that big of a deal. Then, in the course of our fun convo, I wasn't paying attention and had to stop her halfway through because the pink in my French was filled with glitter ... ok, honest mistake, no harm, no foul, right? It was weird, too, because she was doing the white and the pink separately, instead of at the same time. The white also had wrinkles in it and she was trying to tap it down with her finger. When she finished they looked decent, but not outstanding. I tend to be a bit picky, and consciously try hard to give people the benefit of the doubt. So, I decided to hold my tongue and my judgment to see how they held up. Back home, my SNS lasts 3 weeks, but this wannabe SNS started breaking and coming apart within 2 days, and those wrinkles in the white part of my nails? Yeah, they looked like dark squiggly lines across my nails the next day ... probably from the clear polish settling in. I was so disappointed. By Day 13, one was completely off my nail, both thumbs were chipped, an index nail split in half, and 3 other nails were flaking off. I work an office job that has never been hard on nails, and I haven't done anything out of the ordinary that was hard on my nails during that 13 days. Unfortunately, I will not be back. The atmosphere was great and the ladies so nice, but Suki clearly did not know the proper way to apply SNS. Maybe they do everything else really well, and maybe the quality of work would be great if you're not going for SNS ... I don't know. read more
