My boyfriend treated me to a pedicure as part of my birthday month celebration. And he received his first pedicure. I called the morning of to schedule the appointments as we couldn't arrive until 7 PM, and they close at 8 PM. I was a little disappointed that they were unable to start both our pedicures at the same time. But we were able to sit beside one other and he enjoyed the massage chair while he waited. Do not give a man a remote in a nail salon LOL! But to his credit he figured out how to turn it on I massage chair before I did;) My nail tech did a great job cleaning my cuticles and feet as well massaging my legs and feet! So relaxing! The music even further helped me find my zen. My boyfriend enjoyed his first pedicure. I advised him just to relax and put himself in his happy place which was fishing on a pier. These are the most crooked acrylics I've ever gotten. I asked how long he's been doing nails and he said 23 years. This is after he attempted to file them straighter to fix three times. I was charged $65 for the exact same set my friend got and she was charged $60. Will never come back. If you want a charm they wouldn't let me put charm on a polished finger. I wanted to wait a few weeks before giving this review since I was testing the longevity of nail color wear. The results are in: this place is pretty solid. First off, get yourself an appointment. It's the kind of place that's busy 24/7 and you're not just going to "drop in" and get yourself a new mani pedi. Second, have a color plan. I did not. I was getting a no chip mani pedi compliments of my sister and since I don't drop this kind of cash on my nails on any sort of regular basis, I wanted something I could happily wear for 2 weeks. The number of color choices is overwhelming. Luckily for me the professionals are happy to offer suggestions. The vibe of the place is bustling but not so busy you can't unwind. It doesn't smell chemically the way many other facilities do so that's also a nice bonus. My only gripe is that I got a chip less than 24 hours later doing nothing strenuous or rough. I was literally reaching into the washing machine and it chipped on my thumb nail. Could I have gone back? Maybe. Regardless, the entire manicure stuck the whole 2 weeks of expected wear (even with the chip it didn't get worse somehow?). read more

I'm normally not a type of person who would get their nails done because I'm more of an outdoorsy kind of gal who fish and hunts but I must say, my nails are absolutely gorgeous. I walked in and was greeted by very friendly service! I came in for a SNS dip mani ($35) on a Saturday afternoon so it was very busy--I had to wait for about 40 minutes before a tech could see me. I really, really, really like this place!!! They are by far the most consistent nail place I have been to. I have tried locations close by by the Fleming Island area and they just do not match up to them. I do not have a specific person I go to when I go in for services and each nail/pedi tech do them both the same. Meaning I have been to locations and sat down before another customer while receiving the same service and they receive the 'rush ' job or vice versa. Your nails end up not lasting and have to go back or the customer service was just not pleasant. Here they do not do that. Very consistent service and I love it. Sooooooo relaxing especially from after work!!! OMG the pedi massage with the hot stones AMAZING as well as the massage chairs!!!! The blow dryer bar is very nice too. My nails are all chipping and breaking after just one week and they look absolutely awful. The man that did them was an older gentleman and didn't seem to have any experience with SNS before. My daughter recommend this place. I will not return. The tech had me soak my own dip off of my nails. I asked where are the foil wraps & was told they take too long. The stuff was scraped off with a paper towel then, using a dirty drill bit, she started sanding off the rest. For time and convivence sake, I decided to try Zen for a manicure. It appeared that the person who did my nails, has not cleaned her station since she began working there. Everything - brushes, instruments, top of table was covered with dust, nail filings, dirt. I assume the State never performs health and safety inspections otherwise they would surely shut her down. He didn't listen to what I was telling him at multiple passes and I left unhappy nail wise. Manicure- Had a very light gel color with matte finish and wanted them redone- I work at a hospital which doesn't allow nail polish so the more natural the better. I can't survive without something on them! -Asked for gel he said SNS powder is better I said ok- I've had it before -picked it a color he opened up the powder and before he even started I said it's too sparkly he said it will be fine. Well it wasn't. Got another. - asked for cuticles to be trimmed. They weren't. - asked for matte polish he said it's chipped more All in all ended up with nothing I asked for. Pedicure- Trying to pick a color found one it was dried out tried to tell the receptionist to see if they had another the a tech came over and said pick it out from the basket- I'm like why would I do that if I see you inventory is somewhat inconsistent in quality. I was sat in the pedicure chair and the receptionist didn't start the water. But the next person she sat down she started the water. Weird.
