I stopped here because it is half way between my work in Fleming and home in Mandarin. I am always typing as part of job taking loan applications and I also cook a lot. My nails get damaged and I am desolate because they rip right down to the quick. After a brief try with the powder fill nails which come off and are very painful to be cut away I've chosen gel. They last 2-4 weeks and look gorgeous. Removal just requires a cotton ball, bits of foil and about 10 minutes to soak. Then the magic begins. $20. I came because I saw good reviews but am very disappointed. The paint job on my nails was sloppy (many edges with no paint at all) and she left all the dead skin/cuticles around & on my nails. There is also some leftover blue nail polish that wasn't taken off all the way. (See picture) It really sucks to pay to get my nails done then have to go home and fix it. Not my job. I could have done better. The whole point of getting your nails done is so that someone else can do it who can do a better job, unfortunately that isn't the case here. Had a very nice experience at this salon. This is my spot! I have never been a nail salon regular until I came here. Now, I'm in here on a monthly basis! It's a 4 person shop with a very attentive staff. I get gel nails and a pedicure with gel polish. My pedicure could last for 6 weeks and still look as fresh as the first say. Unfortunately, my recommendation of Nail Addicts has changed to a strong no. I was going to them as a secondary when my primary place was not open, but I regret doing that now because even though I did not get a full pedicure last week, the man who filed my nails used a nail file that anyone could see had already been used several times, and was pretty rough on filing the sides of my big toenails. They do not use fresh packs of nail files/scrubbers for each client, and I'm now paying for it as I have an infection forming on the right side of my big toenail, where he was especially rough with the filing. The people here are very, very nice, but I won't be able to go to Nail Addict anymore. My suggestion is for them to properly sanitize their equipment, and spend the extra money to ensure a new pack of filing utensils is used on every client. I am an extremely clean person and have never had an infection on any of my toenails before this. I'm very concerned about it, and may have to go for a few weeks without a new pedicure because of it. Sadly I must down grade my review. I went back for another visit and the tech used the file for my nails to clean the powder off the station and put it back in the drawer and then I witnessed the other technician remove the flip flops from a client and add them back to the 2 the basket of what was thought to be unused flops. I have been a very loyal customer going a few times a month. Today they showed no loyalty to their customer. I waited my turn for a pedicure. A lady comes in asking how long they said right now. They seat her knowing I had been waiting. I walk out and call them to tell them they lost a customer. All they could said is I'm sorry I'm so sorry. Not come back and we will make it up to you and seat you right away. It was obvious loyalty means nothing to them. I have sent many customers their way. No longer. read more

Came in yesterday for a gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure I received was amazing. She took her time and it felt great to be pampered. It was not a rush job like the other nail salons I have been to in the past. I got one of the cat eye colors and have revived so many compliments already. I got my nails done on a Sunday afternoon. I got Halloween nail art that I really loved (although it was a little sloppy). My daughter (5) and I both got manicures and pedicures with regular polish. I do not get gel polish because it always makes my nails weak and chip easily. The woman doing my nails warned me that the polish would chip easier because it was regular polish as opposed to gel. I told her I understood and accepted that thinking I would get at least 5 days to a week since I work an office job and wear gloves to wash dishes. By Tuesday morning, the polish had completely peeled off 4 of my nails and several of my daughters too. It peeled off in large chunks. By Wed. evening and every one had peeled off. I get that because I'm not down with the gel polish, my manicure won't last very long, but a day and a half?!? I went back to the salon that afternoon and the manager basically shrugged and told me that's why they recommend gel polish. I spent almost $80 after all was said and done including tip, and the polish lasted for less than 2 days. But what was most frustrating was the salon's response. When I asked why they would even offer regular polish she said most people just got it for one night. That is ludicrous. When I polish my nails at home it lasts for at least a week. I suspect their regular polish is old/thinned out using acetone so it's easier to apply and dries quicker. Don't go here if you value your nails or customer service. You'd be better off buying a $1 polish from Walmart and doing it yourself. read more
