I walked into this nail salon and was asked how they could help me. I told them I wanted a pedicure and eyebrow service. After that, I was completely ignored. I stood there waiting while the staff continued working on other customers, and no one acknowledged me or let me know if there would be a wait. I looked around several times to see if anyone would help me, but no one did. I eventually walked out. This was very poor customer service, and I will not be returning. My first time visiting and loved the welcoming feeling. I came in for a fill as a walk-in as was immediately helped. I did call and ask if they had room as I was on my way. I forgot his name but he was great! He sits on the left as you walk in after a woman. He was very talkative, joking around, asked what I wanted and helped me pick a color. Whether I am getting a Manicure or Pedicure, I get the Gel Polish and they do an Awesome Job! I once broke my nail and went in to maybe get a fake nail put on, but they decided it was best to save my nail... They fixed it right up and I am Very Happy with it! They are VERY Detail Oriented!! My Daughter-in-law and I normally make appointments together and get right in and taken care of! But we've also gone in without an appointment too... They are Awesome! If you are looking for a place to go to get a pedicure, i 100% recommend!! I started coming here when i came to town, (I live in Charlotte, NC) and would come here with my grandma. She has been coming here for 20 years. Although I don't come often, they recognize me every time i come in and love to make conversation! I have had multiple different workers and they all do an amazing job!! They do not rush and they take their time making sure your cuticles are pristine (beauty is pain). They also massage you for a good amount of time. I have never got a manicure here before however, my grandma does and she leaves happy every time. read more

First, the directions to this place on Apple Maps are wrong there about 5 miles short of the actual location. Second, when I called the shop to get directions because I was on my way up there, the gentleman gave me directions very nicely and let me know that they close at 7:30. When I arrived at 5:40 PM, he told me that they were booked for the rest of the evening. What I would like to know is why he couldn't tell me that when I called up there! Why wouldn't you tell someone that you don't have any more space for any more customers if they're not already on the list? That is bad business; it took me 40 minutes to get to that damn nail salon from my house, and when I got there they wouldn't serve me! Therefore I don't think they deserve anybody's money. I would give them zero stars if I could because they gave me zero service! read more

THIS PLACE WAS AWSOME! I'm so mad it took me so long to find this business even though I literally live 5 minutes away. Better late than never I suppose. I had a full set that was done by another shop across town removed and a basic pedicure. Island nail gave me one of the BEST pedicures ever! They were so thorough and I didn't wait long at all to be seated without an appointment. My full set removal took way longer than I anticipated due to the "interesting" way that the nails were applied in the first place. The staff at island nail made sure to communicate what was happening and checked on me every step of the way during the removal as it required prolonged soaking and manual removal after a certain point. They did everything they could to maintain my natural nails, which was very much appreciated! I'm sad to be moving away from the area soon but I'll definitely fit in another visit to island nail before I go! read more

They do an excellent job with SNS! My nails last over 2 weeks before needing a fill with no nails detaching or falling off like I've experienced at other salons. They listen to what the customer wants and aim to please. Pedicures are good too. Just need to ask many times for ingrown and hang nails to be removed. read more

Since moving to Fleming island 8 months ago I have been desperately searching for a salon or tech to do my nails. I'm not super picky but I'm particular with how I like my nails. I told them one time what I wanted and never had to mention it again. They asked many times through my appointment if so far everything was good. It was honestly perfect. The gentleman took his time but was efficient. I got a fill in and a pedicure and was only there an hour and half. The young lady that did my pedicure was so sweet. Tried this place for the first time today and was very pleased. The staff was friendly and attentive and did a fantastic job on me and my daughter's nails. Very clean with a nice selection of colors. I do wish that they had better ventilation or left the door open as the acetone smell was overwhelming as soon as you walked in the door. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her manicure which was such a relief to me as she has had bad experiences elsewhere which left a bad taste in her mouth. The prices are very reasonable. I wish I knew the name of the guy who did my nails, but he was awesome. Talkative and friendly and definitely showed that he cared about what he was doing. The Pedicurist was very nice andI could easily understand her. It was refreshing not to hear the staff constantly speaking in another language in front of customers. I was surprised that I was not asked what type of pedicure that I wanted. It was basic, but she did a nice job. For such a basic pedicure I was surprised that it cost $30. Usually I pay that price for a deluxe pedicure. My pedicure consisted of the soaking, trimming, short massage with the lotion, and painting. I expected this pedicure would cost $20. Expecting to get sub par service because of such a minimal request, I was VERY pleased with the very detailed care and beautiful job that was done on my hands and toes. Pow did a wonderful job and was kind, pleasant and conversational. He was an extreme perfectionist on my nails and I have never had someone take the time to make sure my nails were perfect. I give this salon 5 stars purely on service. I hate when reviewers degrade a place based on aesthetics or location. It's a strip mall nail place next to Publix. It's not going to have the ambiance or serenity of a 5-star resort spa. That being said, I walked in on a Friday afternoon at 2 & they took me immediately. My technician was *very* thorough and I got the longest foot & calf massages that I have every received with a pedicure. Almost *too* long as I was a bit pressed for time, but still, who's going to turn down more massage? It was great! All in all, a mani & basic pedi took 90 minutes. If you're in a rush, let them know. If not, then sit back & enjoy the extra service...mani/pedi only for $35 :) read more

They do a good job overall. However, there is this one nail tech that only does one shape regardless of what shape you ask for. He argues with you when you ask for coffin that almond is a better shape and looks nicer. It is super annoying. Everyone else will give you what you ask for. read more
