One of the BEST experiences I have had with a nail tech in a really long time. Eliza was absolutely lovely! I was incredibly indecisive on shape and style of the French tip I wanted and she helped me with my choice! She offered me a lot of different acrylic colors since my nails are short and we didn't want the normal translucent pink acrylic to show my natural. She and I talked the entire time about everything under the sun. The inside is stunning as well. The little kiddie pedicure chairs are adorable. Was in area and shop wasn't busy. Was greeted by an older lady and immediately sat. Got an older tatted gentleman for my $40 pedi service. He paid no attention to my concerns of what I wanted done. The older lady tried to intervened on explaining to me his process. He was in such a rush he didn't pay attention to my nail beds and the polish is horrific. I just paid without a fuss. After getting home and getting to see work up close... I had to use my home pedi items to correct and remove polish. Tried this place out for the first time , recently moved from NY and have be dreading finding a place . This salon was recommend by a friend of mine and I decided to give it a shot. I called to scheduled an appointment to come in however they do not take appointments on the weekend only firing the week . Not a problem , I took. My chances and headed to the salon . Very very nice place and let me add friendly from the minute you walk in. I signed in and waited no more then 10 minutes. Anna said she would start with my manicure . She took the time out to discuss my options and what she felt was the best fit for what I do for a living . I have to say I am percent happy with the way my nails turned out . As a matter of fact my nails look better then when I was in NY. I give this salon 5 stars and look forward to returning ! They have earned a customer for life ! I wanted to start my review off by first saying I like that the staff greets you from across the room and then asks what service you're wanting. Not only do they have their hands full servicing another customer, but they're acknowledging your presence and letting you know they see you and they'll be with you when they are able to get to you. I don't mind being "yelled at" as another reviewer put it. I've been coming here for months and have never felt embarrassed or uncomfortable by the staff, not even the first time I went into the salon. They make me feel welcome. Now to my review of the place. When getting a manicure or pedicure I ALWAYS choose gel polish. A few more bucks pretty much 99% guarantees that your polish is not going to chip or wear off before you get your nails or toes redone, at least in my experience. (Now I'm not talking about months and months between each visit, within reason folks.) I work with my hands all day every day, constantly opening boxes (retail) and my nails still look great after 2+ weeks. I see them scrub each pedicure foot bin after every service with disinfectant and a scrubber. I see them pull new tools out of individually wrapped packages for the pedicure. And the staff is all super friendly. Anna is amazing at nails. Lisa is great with pedicures. Honestly I don't think you could go wrong with anyone here. I've had pedicures and acrylics done by multiple people from LV and each time I've been more than satisfied with my experience. I'm laying here about to get some sleep and decided to leave a review for my favorite JAX nail salon so I'll first post a photo of my most recent manicure, fresh and then post two of how it looks literally right now, two weeks later and let you decide for yourself. I was immediately greeted at the door, instructed to wash my hands. Everyone said hello and asked me how my day was. I got a pedicure and my seat was comfortable, the water was the perfect temperature and everything is sanitized and clean. Steven was attentive, kind and chatted me up. He made me laugh cracking a few jokes and told me about his family. My massage was soothing and my feet feel so much better!! I had gel put on, and now my toes look so cute!! I came in yesterday for an acrylic set for my prom there wasn't much of a wait the service took a bit over and hour and I guess I picked an older nail polish and it was kinda chalky and he didn't paint them too well especially not the tops of them and he missed parts on the side and he put the acrylic a bit to far up where it looks like it's been a few days since I got them when it hasn't even been a full 24 hours the whole service the shape was a bit weird to and they didn't look anything like the picture I showed him besides the color but was 30 dollars which is why I gave it three stars because places in oakleaf tend to charge 50 or up. If you're on a budget and don't mind ur nails looking kinda crappy up close but not to bad from a far then come here but if your a perfectionist then I wouldn't recommend. read more

But the main issue I have was that I was charged $60 for a refill with a single color gel polish. Today I went into 8540 Argyle Forest Blvd because everyone in my surroundings area was booked and that was the biggest mistake on my part. I've been getting my nails done since I was 16 and I have never everrrr paid $120 for something so simple! I went into this nail salon for a simple ombré full set but once I was told they didn't have longer tips or colored acrylic, i was like okay I'll get something super simple. And indeed was my set simple, she added the tips and acrylic and once I noticed she wasn't applying the acrylic how I'm used to i made sure to let her know my fingers were uneven and lumpy. She {I don't have her name because it wasn't stated in the police report} did her best to fix it but once I noticed me expressing what I didn't like was too much I decided to get some clear coat and go home. So now I have nails on my fingers that could be better but would do just fine for now. We get to the register and she says $120. I ask her, "why is it so much?" And she says it's because of the tips I got.. so I ask her exactly how much did everything cost and she says the starting price is $30 and it's extra for length and I say how much extra, she looks at me and just stands there. She couldn't give me an actual amount of how much extra the tips were, I wanted a break down of what I was paying for and I couldn't get it. Not too mention she was rude, I was asking for a break down of what I paid for and she stood there looking at me then she asked someone else, "how can I help you?" SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I love long nails so I have no problem paying for long nails but I know I was overcharged and she know she overcharged me. Once the officer got to the salon, since she wouldn't explain it to me I was hoping she could explain it to the police and she did. This was her explanation, the nails she normally use is $100 the longer ones are $120, I'll post a picture below and you tell me if that makes any sense. I wasn't offered a refund I wasn't offered partial amount back, there was no solution to the matter. On their booklet acrylic starts at $30 but in her statement she told the police, the short is a $100, that doesn't add up. Inclusion I will not be returning and I will make sure this matter is resolved. If I could leave 0 stars I would! read more

BEWARE!! I went in for a pedicure and nail dip. The service was good. I tipped both the pedicurist and manicurist with cash and paid for the service with my credit card. I put a line through "tip" and wrote the $80 in the total. While checking my bank account two days later I noticed the salon charged me $95. I drove to the salon with my receipt and waited 20 min to speak to someone. The older woman who helped me said she had to "check with the credit card processing company". I couldn't understand why she would have to do that when the company just processes what they put in. She told me it was "a tip". I explained AGAIN I gave cash tips. She finally refunded me the $15 but it just makes me wonder how many other people they "add tips" to the charge who gave cash tips and never check their bank account. IMO that's stealing. read more

So I currently do not get my nails done (to save money and job is harsh on my hands anyways) but this is my go-to nail salon for the five years whenever I do want them done. I typically get an acrylic set on my fingernails and that's it. I love coming here to get my nails done, it's as simple as that. The staff are all good at what they do so I never make an appointment with anyone in particular. Each technician is friendly and help to make the atmosphere inviting and warm. Love this place! It's not as fancy as some of the other in the area of Oakleaf but it's wayyyyyyyyy better customer service and experience. I have been a few times now and I have not once had a bad time. The nail technicians actually talk to you and make sure you really do have a nice time. With it being covid that have taken some extra precautions to help everyone stay safe! From the time you enter they request that you wash your hands. I have come here over the last 2 years and they have always been so kind and professional at LV Nails. The location is clean and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable, especially since everyone is raising with inflation. I get the deluxe pedicure which includes cuticle care, sugar scrub, foot/leg mask, lotion, and paraffin wax for $40. It's a bit extra with gel, but very worth it. They take their time and always do an excellent job! My Gel pedicures last for well over a month and I wouldn't have to go back so frequently if my nails didn't grow so quick! I never have an issue with chipping or yellowing on the lighter colors. I highly recommend this location!! read more

First impression: Poor customer service. No class. When a customer walks into your salon, yelling across the room to ask what service the customer needs is embarrassing to the customer. In the future, it is suggested to please have the courtesy to approach the front desk to assist your customers. If you are busy helping another customer, it would be appropriate to say across the room, "I will be right with you. You can also say, "If you are having a mani or pedi and would like to pick a color while you wait, please feel free to do so." This does not obligate the customer to yell their service across the room, in front of other customers, with all eyeballs staring at them. Very uncomfortable. Have some class! This provider did not have SNS Nail product, so no service was rendered. Wanted to give feedback to the staff so they could improve their customer relations and business.
