I decided to give it a shot. First of all, make an appointment. Even though this was the weekend before Christmas, make an appointment! People who didn't have one were told to come back in about 2 hours. I made one and I still had to wait a little bit but it was worth it in the end. Ty Ty was great. She soaked off the the dip powder and the tips and after a short consultation I decided to not get the tips again and just put the dip powder directly on my nails which had already grown out some. This time they feel thicker and stronger, and I don't feel like I would be hitting them all the time. Thank you Ty Ty!

A nice man did my pedicure and he gave me the royal treatment($38.00). He made me feel like I was in Heaven. My toes still look great a few weeks later. Now, the strange part-the young lady did my manicure on the side while I was getting my pedicure. I found that very odd and did not really like that too much. It did expedite things, so I did not complain. I was in a hurry to get to the beach for my Memorial Day weekend stay at One Ocean. The nail polish on my fingernails never last. They recommended for me to get gel Nails, which I think is great, but my nails don't handle gel nails at all. No go. I told them about that and they responded well. I usually get an acrylic overlay with gel polish. I like very natural looking nails with a thin overlay mainly because I am active duty and have a standard I need to follow when it comes to things like nails. I went to four salons before Rose Vy Nails and each time the final result was a very thick overlay of acrylic that made my nails look very unnatural. I even tried to be very specific about the thickness of the nails or show pictures of what I wanted. Heck one place even told me I had "chubby nail beds" and that was the reason as to why I couldn't get the thin finish I wanted! That's wild. I never heard that before in my 34 years on this earth lmfao. Anywho, I finally ended up at Rose Vy Nails and was so fortunate to get Kevin to work on my nails. I told him exactly what I wanted and he delivered. He even cleaned up my cuticles, which if you have done acrylic nails for a while you know most technicians won't really clean up your cuticles. He was very meticulous and at the end he said "looks much better." Haha. And he was right, looked way better than any other place I've been to in the area. I waited to go a few times before I gave my review because I wanted to make sure he was consistent and he is. I will always go to Kevin now that I've found him haha. I also got a really good pedicure done by another technician. Unfortunately I didn't ask her name but she was wonderful. Everyone there has been very friendly. Definitely a no fuss type of place or super fancy but it's a place where you know you will get good service.
