Pros: Very friendly people. Extremely clean bathrooms. Very good pricing for services. Cons: My 40-45 pedicure last 36 minutes Only four therapists on duty, so wait was long Not all the services listed on the pricing sheet were actually performed. There is a huge push for up-selling for every choice you make. ("This is a much better polish for only $8 more", "oh, if you pay $5 more you get better options". I will readily admit that people here are friendly and nice. The manager was very pleasant and accommodating. The prices are very good and the chairs (at least the ones that worked) gave good massage therapy. My daughter really loved her pedicure and rated it five stars, there was also a gentleman in there that seems to get rave reviews; he seemed to really go above and beyond and his clients looked like they were in heaven. He even followed one customer out the door to make sure she got to her car. But I can only gauge on the treatment I received and not what others received. My therapist was clearly sick, kept wiping her nose, was annoyed I would not upgrade to ultimate level (I chose the super deluxe, two levels above the basic) and snatched the pricing guide from me when I started looking at what was supposed to be included with my chosen pedicure. My pedicure was listed at 40-45 minutes and it lasted a crisp 36 minutes. She refused my request for a liner and allowed my tootsies to soaked in the water about 20 seconds before she started in. When I realized I was getting poor service, I began to compliment her and thank her and she did slow down a little and show some care, but I still walked away with a hangnail and a feeling I would never go back there again. I realize that everyone is not equal when you get personalized service like pedicures. But with only four therapists, you have a 25% of having a bad experience and a 75% chance if getting a great one. My odds were against me this

My first experience at Brilliant Nails and Spa was fabulous! I went the Thursday before Easter after work for a pedicure. I didn't want to wait until Friday or Saturday and have to deal with the crowds. I waited about 10 minutes and then was escorted to my pedicure chair. I selected a polish color from their tower. The pedicure chair was very nice and provided relief to my tight back muscles. And I was impressed that I didn't smell acrylic nails. I chose the deluxe pedicure for $32. Tommy took great care of me! I'm so glad I spent a little extra money to get more of a foot and leg massage. He joked with me and made me laugh several times. I told him it was my first time at the spa and he told me it was his first time giving a pedicure LOL! Tommy told me they have on average about a 95% return rate at the salon. And I can understand why! One regular customer who was sitting near me said she'd been coming here for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I have been trying to find a nail spa since I moved to Jacksonville in 2014. I have been to nearly 20 different nail salons and I think I have finally found my new nail salon home!

Pedicures here are amazing. They are so friendly and accommodating. It feels like I have new feet. I didn't have time for a manicure but I'm definitely going back..

* disclaimer: I hate leaving negative reviews as I value peoples time and skills, but I had to post this. Please read ... POSITIVE: walk-in service, no appt needed, pedicure came out nicely NEGATIVE: 1. limited nail color selection 2. I agreed to do get gel manicure done with matching regular paint for my feet; when I selected a gel color for my hands, I get told there is no matching regular polish. That sucks, but whatever, so I chose another color (not at all what I originally wanted, but good enough). I asked if the gel color matched and was told yes, not to worry... 3. I asked for basic pedicure with callus remover, was told to upgrade to deluxe pedicure (asked if it included callus remover, as it was safe to assume when told to upgrade), and got affirmation, but then I got charged $6 extra for callous remover at time of checkout. 4. Worst part: - upon getting the manicure, I get cuts/wounds by the cuticle cutter & buffer - first coat of gel polish is not matching the toes, but I know sometimes it takes two coats to really compare, so I let her begin the second coat--completely different color (I mean bright purple vs red)! - I immediately tell her the colors don't match, but they argued, saying it matched, and the second help. - I refused, and said I was not going to walk out of the salon with those that color nails, and asked to get the soaking process started. - Owner/manager, I suppose, came over told me to "relax", that they were going to figure out how to match the color. - I refused that and told her I was just going to leave with the pedicure and basic manicure. - Nail tech begins to remove the gel polish with the buffing machine, tears up my cuticle again to where it's bleeding; did not remove all the polish, as you can see in the picture, then told me she was not going to polish my nails at all. I asked her if she could do clear, to which she agreed and did. I ended up spending $58 for all that and I still have to go home and fix my nails and paint them myself. A WORD TO THE WISE: do not waste your time or money here.

Tommy and his team were extremely friendly, caring, and overall did a exceptional job! I felt so welcomed, when I walked into the door, they greeted me and I was immediately seated! I got the deluxe pedi with Tommy and a gel manicure with Diana. I drove past 5+ salons to come here and it was worth it! Definitely coming back! Thanks guys!

Tommy does the best brows, I never go anywhere else. They also give the best pedicures with the best massage.

Standard shellac gel nails.  My nail tech was very meticulous, did not get any bubbles or dust and went to the edge.

I've love low maintenance things and this is one of the things where I should t have waited so long to get! The pain level is very mild as she puts a numbing cream first. She measures and draws out the brows and then the magic happens. The healing process was easy. And now I'm so happy that I can just wash my face, spf and go in the mornings. Brows make such a difference and it's definitely worth every penny for this! If you've been thinking about getting microblading, just go! She's also in Instagram, go check out her work!

Customer for 3 years. Terrible management. Received discounts the last three times because my nails…read morekept chipping within a few days. I never asked for the discount or even was rude about the chipping but instead asked what I could do better after being serviced to keep it from happening. They told me it wasn't my fault but an issue with the base coat and provided a discount to account for my difficulty. Because their error and me being provided a discount the manager banned me from future bookings. I wish I had given them a hard time because at least then I would understand being banned. The manager didn't even have the guts to call me. She texted me instead. Poor management, do NOT recommend.
