Excellent spa with unique and awesome services! If you haven't tried Thai Massage yet, it's a must! It's my most favorite type of massage which includes assisted stretch and takes advantage of gravity and the human body structure for optimal results. I had had it in Asia before and was super excited to see this place offers it! After just one visit, I'm now including it in my massage routine. Last time I went, the massage therapist greeted me with a cup of jasmine tea and cookies. Such a nice touch! They also have amazing facials. This was actually the first service I tried there and I'm going back for another. I got the organic facial and I'm very happy with both the experience and the results. I met with Nancy for a Thai massage and upon entering , I felt a very comfortable beach vibe. The place is brand new, quiet and so relaxing. I generally hold a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and my legs are often sore. Nancy is very professional and knows exactly what to do. All you have to do is show up in comfortable clothes and relax - no messy oils. It is an awesome experience that, in my opinion, is better than any stretch session, yoga class, exercise class or meditation because I feel like you get all of these in one session here. The massage has improved my overall circulation and when it's over, I feel like I can breathe more deeply. This place is a gem hidden in plain sight! I was always curious about it driving by and finally decided to explore their offerings when I was planning a celebratory spa day. I had a wonderful organic facial by Heather and prenatal massage by Dexter. Heather hand mixed a mask from natural ingredients and used simple but wonderful products that my skin loved. She explained what she was doing and using and we also had a great conversation. Dexter is strong and very in tune as a masseuse. He targeted areas I indicated and left me feeling totally melted. I've since returned for more prenatal massages, as I really trust his skill and attention. The spa is a beautiful space and the little boutique has lovely local products. They also run great specials and have a membership option that make services a great value. This is a really amazing place in jacksonville to get a facial or any of the other services they offer. They use all natural and organic ingredients in their products, the staff is vey sweet and I felt comfortably at home while getting my facial here. Love this place! I've had massages from both Callie and Nancy and both have been excellent. Super relaxing. One of the massages was a prenatal massage and Nancy knew exactly what to do (and what not to do!). Scheduling is super easy through text after the first visit. As soon as I walked In I felt instantly delighted by the shabby decor and calm vibe! The staff is extremely sweet! I'm not going to lie I was super nervous but Dexter (who I highly I recommend) had me relaxed in no time. I did the 90 minute Swedish massage and let me tell you it was amazing!!! I already cannot wait to go back and make this a monthly treat for myself!! You guys are great!!! If you're in need of a relaxing massage this is the place to go! This was my first prenatal massage so I had no idea what to expect and sorry checkbook but I'm hooked. Don't let the exterior worry you inside it is a tranquil oasis. I recommend arriving a few minutes early for your first time to fill out the paperwork. I felt at ease and respectfully covered the entire time. I never leave reviews but wow this place was amazing. My first time ever getting a facial and I'm so disappointed I've waited so long. Gina was absolutely amazing! I did the groupon for the organic facial and back scrub, you really never know what you're going to get out of a groupon service but this was truly the most relaxing hour and a half I've ever had! All of their products are natural and it shows by how gentle they feel on your face. I can't say enough good things, highly recommend! read more

I'm personally not a fan of being forced to pay for a service before I receive it via automatic monthly deduction, thus I have taken away a star. Relax Jax is an excellent place to get a massage, and Nancy is the best of the best at her craft. I have been a client of hers for many years and have found that regular massage is the only thing to counter the brutal realities of being hunched over a computer all day. I just received the most unique and life changing Thai massage from Nancy! You lay on this king sized mat while you drift away to these lovely melodies as she pulls and pushes with her hands and feet. Dexter is who you want to see for a massage. I was really fortunate to find this spa on Yelp and get someone as talented as Dexter. I asked for a super firm 90 minute massage, and he held the perfect pressure the entire time. Very deep but gentle, like he was able to read the muscles. My experience here has been great! Dexter the massage therapist addressed all the conditions that I stated that needed to be worked on. He has nice firm hands for the deep tissue massage.
