I had had it in Asia before and was super excited to see this place offers it! After just one visit, I'm now including it in my massage routine. Last time I went, the massage therapist greeted me with a cup of jasmine tea and cookies. Such a nice touch! They also have amazing facials. This was actually the first service I tried there and I'm going back for another. I got the organic facial and I'm very happy with both the experience and the results. RelaxJax is literally a hidden gem.

Wonderful experience!…read more It was my first time coming to this establishment. I researched several spas before picking this one. I am glad I came. It was my birthday present to myself. I booked the hot stone massage and the steam room. My masseuse was Zianni. She did a great job. I felt all the tension and knots being released from my body. The steam room was amazing. It was an added benefit to my massage. The next time I am in Jacksonville I will stop by again. Namaste!

While on vacation , I planned a day with my best friend and this was the most promising place in…read moreJacksonville. At least the online presentation was. Overall , a good experience but there are things that I would've liked to be different. The overall vibe seems a bit commercial, even though there are marocan elements scattered throughout. I would've liked a bit more of an authentic marocan vibe. Got there at 10.03 am and the paperwork took about 10-12 Minutes. Then locker room for changing another maybe 10 minutes. We started at 10:30 am with what was supposed to be an hour massage . Only got a 45 minutes massage. The therapist was great but asked way too many questions. The room was on cold and had a fan blowing as well. After the massage , we went straight to scrub/ sauna area. Different therapist. She was very nice and did her best to make us feel comfortable. The first room was a wet room with 2 stone "beds" . Even though they used warm water at times , the room was cold and it made the whole experience a bit unpleasant . The sauna part was probably the best one. After the scrub/sauna part was over we got 20 minutes in the tea room. We were served fruits, 3 rally small but delicious cookies and watered down mint tea. The cookies were really great but maybe they should serve a few extra ones. They also had some mini size American chocolates. It's a nice touch but maybe some marocan candy would work better. The last step was a 90 min anti aging facial. The tech was good but nothing to be blown away by. As far as the cost, we paid $900 for 2 people, plus $240 tip for the therapists. The place was scattered with signs that suggested leaving a generous tip. Even the bathrooms had at least 2 signs. It felt a bit exaggerated and as I stated on the beginning, commercial. I don't mind spending the money for an authentic experience and unfortunately this place didn't hit the mark. They sell a specific line of cosmetics and we got suggestions of what to buy from the therapists. Again, the amount of signs and pamphlets suggesting a purchase, was again a bit much. It was an ok experience but unfortunately I would not go back. I will keep searching for a place that offers a more authentic experience.

First, Tammy accommodated my timing needs and then when I arrived, she warmly welcomed me into her space which, by the way is very peaceful. I loved that she was very connected to the body mind and spirit aspect and how it's all connected. That is of great importance to me and instantly made me feel at ease. I have certain areas that need extra TLC. I so appreciate a therapist who not only listens to your concerns but then then backs it up with her expertise. Highly recommended
