I've been coming to this nail salon since it opened (previous ownership and current). My latest visit was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I absolutely love that I was greeted by name (without an appointment or sign in (and it wasn't just me the gentleman...I think his name is Peter - I need to confirm bc I owe him the same respect - greeted every repeat guest by name). Jessica did an amazing job on my nails and our conversation passed the time. Very pleasant experience and a beautiful result. Minh did my pedicure. I usually only get a polish change bc I prefer to do my own pedicure but I wanted to switch it up and I'm so glad I did. He was extremely nice and not over the top on any portion of the pedicure. Came here with my wife and had a wonderful experience. We both did the jelly pedicure and had a terrific and relaxing time. The techs were very attentive and friendly. The customer service from the front staff was also miles above compared to other interactions we have had at other businesses. Amazing experience at Ooh La La Nails! Mally was my tech and she is so talented! She listened to exactly what I didn't love about my last builder gel set that I received at a different Beachwalk establishment and addressed all of my concerns (never cheating on this place again--haha). My set turned out beautiful. I requested Mally after seeing her work on their instagram page, and she really can do anything! Every staff member I encountered was so nice and welcoming. I've also taken my 3.5 year old daughter there to get a kid's mani/pedi in the past; they have the cutest Frozen-themed massage chairs for little ones. She loved her experience! Horrible experience. Was charged $53 for a basic gel manicure. He clipped my cuticle's, lightly filed and buffed and then painted. Soooo over priced. Oh and to begin with the guy that did the "manicure" was bothered that I didn't want any nail extension, basically I said no to his upselling. He then told the receptionist he didn't want to do it, perhaps he thought he was better than a basic gel manicure. As in baseball he "shook me off", then turned around and begrudgingly took me to a chair. Regretting every minute I spent there. I shouldn't have end tipped, but unlike this place I was respectful. Update; The business has responded with untrue statements, only making the situation worse. The new ownership was absolutely not communicated on that day, and I absolutely was directed to purchase the gift card on the website listed below. Do not buy a gift card here. I went into this location, which is clearly labeled on their sign as Durbin Nail Spa on 11/2/24 to purchase a $100 gift card for my mom. They stated their gift card system was down and directed me to purchase via their website durbinnailspa.com. She went to use it today, 1/4/25, just about 2 MONTHS later and they are stating they changed ownership 11/1/24 (one day prior to my purchase) and will not honor the gift card. So I purchased a $100 gift card 2 months ago, in the way directed by them at this location, and they will not honor it 2 month later. HORRIBLE business practices. read more

Ever since this shop switched over from Durbin nail spa I have been getting my nails done without any issues. The new owners have great customer service and the new workers are way more attentive and are able to communicate my needs. It seems like they are still in a transition phase, but all the new touches and choices I've seen are nice. I was going between other nail salons over the last year, but I believe I will be sticking with ooh la la nails for awhile. read more

I've had the worst manicure from this place. My daughter's gel manicure wasn't much better. I got a regular manicure and the guy did not know what he was doing. He used the dremel on my nail beds and cuticles. My nails are so weak and the polish didn't even make it 3 days before flaking off entirely. I was excited to see that this salon was owned by a brand, new owner and new management given the circumstances of all the negative reviews of the prior establishment. I decided to give them another shot. Everything was going great until my technician started filing my nails with the electric file, it started to burn. I told her this several times and she continued to go over the same spots. When she started her acrylic work, everything was fine there until she then proceeded to file my nails with a manual file and sliced my pinky open as well as Cut my cuticles with the electric file during the final process. I was very vocal throughout the entire time and mention as well as as several times in front of colleagues as well as as the owner and new management come the time of checkout I was still charged full price for my nails with no compensation given and or an apology. very disappointed and will definitely not be going back. read more

Wendy should be famous for her acrylic nail skills. I came in wanting ombre french acrylics. She asked multiple times if the length and shape of my nails were what I desired and was so patient with me, as I am very picky. She then started with a clear powder coat to strengthen the nails before effortlessly completing the ombre french. These nails would typically take a novice nail tech 2 hours to do -- she did it all in ONE HOUR after 15 years of experience! I am very particular with my services so I could not be more pleased. Durbin Pavilion is nice as well but not as pampering and always late. Very clean but I tried 5 different times and 4 different people and none of them could do dip/sns. Several of my neighbors have experienced the same - nails chip, lift right away and top coat fades in first few days. I gave them feedback, went in and got them "fixed" twice and finally have had to move on to a new salon. Which is frustrating as Durbin is so close to me. read more

Nail ladies are fine, the 2 girls working the front desk are Terrible. They stay on their personal cell phones and don't greet anyone, they just sit there doing nothing/ management needs to find one person that actually has a personality and have that person do what two teenage girls can't. read more

I got my gel nails off here and somehow they ruined my nails. She knew they were gel on regular nails and drilled it off?! It hurt the whole time but I thought maybe this was a different way to remove them because I've only been to one other salon before which was always a soak off.
