I came here to get a pedicure. My nails were in serious need of some TLC, with going to the beach, working out, etc. Also, TBH I'm super bad about how I paint my toenails. Remember that person who used to always used to color outside the lines? Well that's me with nail polish. I don't have a steady hand. I made an appointment online the day before. Their booking platform is easy to use. You can search by your nail tech's name or just choose first available. When I arrived, I signed into their kiosk and we were immediately greeted by several employees. They pointed us to our seats and then asked us which pedicure we wanted. They have a lot of options. Normally I would have chosen basic, just due to the $35 price tag, but decided to go with the Royal, which was $45. First we got to pick our polish color, and then we got to pick the "flavor" we wanted for our lotion and foot scrub. I opted for mint. Laura was my nail tech and was very pleasant and cheerful. This is a newer nail salon and it always appears to be bright and clean. She got started on filling up my tub with warm water. Laura did a great job of really massaging my feet and legs. I think that's the biggest takeaway with getting the royal pedicure is they really spend the time massaging your legs and feet, which I really needed. All the chairs are equipped with a massage. We were also asked if we wanted a beverage, they had water, soda, etc. Laura was also very meticulous when it came to my polish and spent a lot of time making sure it was just right, which I really appreciated. My pedicure took about 45-50 minutes and then I stayed an extra 10 minutes to have my pedicure dry. Laura was even nice enough to put my flipflops on, so I wouldn't ruin the polish. I have genuinely never had an experience like this at a nail salon. During my appointment, I was accidentally sprayed/soaked with water not once, but TWICE because of the pedicure equipment being faced the wrong direction. I was completely soaked--my sweatshirt and shorts were wet, and I was literally sitting in a puddle of water. To make matters worse, my soda was dropped into the pedicure foot bowl, and after everything that happened, they still expected me to pay full price. I had to ask if there was going to be a discount for my experience and best they could do was $10 off..... The entire appointment also took almost 2.5 hours just to complete my pedicure and full set, which made an already frustrating experience even worse. This is a newer salon. 1 year this week. I am from out of town and needed my nails desperately done checked yelp, and this is what came up. The previous reviews did not fail me. Doesn't look like much from the outside. It's in a strip shopping center that is only 50% occupied right now but inside is a beautifully appointed very clean upscale nail salon. The owner should be proud. I'd been searching for someone who could do just as great of a job, if not better. When I walked in, I was nervous about who I'd be assigned to. I went to Valley nails today for a pedicure for myself and my daughter. We had an appointment for 415 and they were ready for us. The pedicures were wonderful! The establishment was spotless and beautiful.
