I work in the Prudential Tower, and Pressed is a great addition to the Prudential Center. The staff is friendly, the food is beyond delicious, and you can customize anything if needed. It may seem a little expensive, but worth it to me. I took friends from Memphis there, and one guy said it was the "best chicken noodle soup he's ever had." read more

We are here on vacation and have eaten here several times for breakfast. We've had a burrito, an açaí bowl, breakfast sandwich, Shaksuka, and the crossroads vegan sandwich as a bowl. I thought the açaí bowl was very good though not as good as my favorite Eternal Soul Bowl back home, but yummy all the same. I've never had Shaksuka and it really was yummy. Super flavorable. This is the third time I have come to Pressed for breakfast. The first time I visited with a group and the second and third visits were not. It is hit or miss with Pressed. I recommend ordering whatever is on the menu and not making any alterations. Many team members do not speak English, so getting what you want can be frustrating. Case in point: this morning, I ordered the egg plate requesting scrambled eggs, home fries, and dry white toast. I received greasy toast and asked the server for dry toast. He took the plate and returned later with a plate, but this time, the dry side was face up (greasy side face down). I tried to ask a female worker for help, but she got the original worker, who brought a bunch of butter containers to my table. I never received what I ordered. The scrambled eggs were dry, and the homefries were greasy and overly salty for my taste. Please see the photos. On my first and second visit, I ordered the avocado toast, which was excellent. You receive two to three pieces of toast with avocado, tomatoes, feta, and zataar on them. Both times I ordered the avocado toast, it was crispy in all the right places (crust) and soft without being soggy in the middle. The coffee is so-so. I like good coffee, but this wasn't it. I mean.... its pretty good and all, but not totally sure what all the hype is about. Sandwich-wise, its not akin to a deli-style, nor a bakery-style (like Flour) per se, but there are a ton of options. The portions are very large, and the pre-ordering is very customizable. I find their acai bowls to be a bit watery and lack flavor, but the smoothies are quite satisfying. I wouldn't turn it down, but there are better options in the area, is effectively what I am saying. Tip - the bar is never busy, so if you ever need to throw down a quick one (or three) b/w meetings, this is a good spot. read more

I was very delightfully surprised at how nice the interior was and how big and healthy The menu. Believe it or not since I've been here I've already visited this place three times the service is always been great and all I could tell you is every time you come here try something new. This place is delicious. Their French toast bagel makes for a delicious sandwich. The strawberry goat cheese wrap was so good my wife ate it two days in a row. Both the mocha and the latte I got were delicious and the French burrito was so easily made vegetarian that I gave it a try. It was pretty good although some of the sauces they use are unfamiliar to me and pretty tart so it is good to keep in mind ingredients that are unfamiliar if you are picky like me. There is a HUGE vegan and vegetarian section on the menu and so so many options. I was very impressed. read more

I have been to Pressed café during the day, but this time my friend and I came during the evening. It was much quieter in the evening compared to the daytime, which was nice when you wanted to sit and chat with your friend. We ordered the food at the counter and received a number stand before seating ourselves at an empty table. When the food was ready, it was simply brought to our table. My friend and I split the buffalo mac n' cheese quesadilla and the braised beef short rib poutine. The buffalo mac n' cheese quesadilla was a seasonal special and came with a side which we chose potato salad. We also ordered drinks at their bar, so I tried two cocktails - classic white sangria and the sun is shining. The portions of the food were HUGE and were absolutely filling. They were both delicious, but I prefer their paninis instead. What impressed me the most was the beef that came with the poutine which was tender and juicy! I prefer a thicker consistency for my gravy, but I still enjoyed the poutine nonetheless. The drinks were alright, pretty decent for the price! I really enjoyed the sun is shining, mainly due to my fondness for fruity drinks. Overall, this place is great with large portions of freshly made food for a cheap price! I highly recommend coming here for lunch, but do be warned, they are much busier in the day so make sure to snag an empty table when you can. read more

I previously loved coming here, until today. I ordered a Carmel latte, and was instead given a pistachio latte. I have a severe nut allergy, but It was too late, and I took about 3 sips before my throat started swelling shut. My server was inattentive, and didn't even apologize. I then had to leave my food and run to the CVS in the prudential center for Benadryl. Upon return, I saw my Carmel latte sitting on the table. I received no meaningful apology for the mistake. I had to go to the ER for treatment for a severe anaphylactic reaction. Steer clear of this place if you have allergies. Overall I was extremely disappointed with how unprofessionally this was handled. No manager came to check on my condition, an ambulance wasn't called, and nothing was done to make this right. read more

I've ordered take out for the family from here a bunch of times, and they've recently been screwing up the order. Each time they screw up a different person's order. Last time, they forgot the sausage I ordered for my son's French toast. Paid for it, but it wasn't included in the bag. This time, I got dinner for three plus an extra breakfast sandwich for me and a couple of drinks. They included some random person's panini and left out my breakfast sandwich. So, obviously they got the bags mixed up. So, they screwed up two people's orders and somebody else got my breakfast sandwich. I've previously just tried to peer into the bag and make sure the different packaging all looks about right for what I ordered. I guess from now on, if I do order take out from them I'm going to have to stop and take *everything* out of the bag and verify that all sandwiches and sides are included as expected. Maybe I'll just find another takeout place with breakfast sandwiches where the staff check the contents of the bag against the receipt (taped to the bag) before it gets handed to a customer! read more

This weekend was my first time ever in Boston, and my dad and I decided to come here on our first day because it was close to our hotel and had good reviews. Now when I tell you I'm tempted to move to Boston just for the challah french toast at Pressed, I'm not exaggerating. Out of the four days we stayed in Boston, we came to eat here on three of them. Everything we tried here was amazing and I loved the authenticity of all of the Israeli foods. On top of that, I have never had faster service at a restaurant in my life. Everything comes out within five minutes of ordering, and it's all fresh and hot from the kitchen. The menu has such a wide selection for every meal and everyone is bound to find something here. I would recommend this place to anyone, so please, if you're in Boston, try out this place. You won't regret it. read more

Family was up visiting and they fell in love with this place. We ended up eating breakfast here several days and lunch one day down in Copley. The acai bowls with a dollop of peanut butter was the breakfast of choice and I had the french toast without fruit and pure maple syrup served in a glass jar. The restaurant seemed very efficient even during the height of the morning rush. Ordering was easy as they seem to have a button for everything on the POS system. Two words: (((Pressed Cafe))). Someone should have bothered to advertise that there was a shop full of Jewish and Israeli specialties right under the damn Pru! I'd have been coming here for at least a year instead of walking past. Now, my meal was a bit pricey, but then again, that is because I asked them for the real grilled eggplant. It's half an eggplant. Grilled. Costs $8. This is the first and only time I've been able to find this dish made right in the United States. Stringy and caramelized, NOT spongy! On from the eggplant. Is the pita good? Yes, it is stretchy, fluffy, and chewy pita. You can open up the pocket, it stretches rather than cracks, so you can put things inside it. I put the strings of grilled eggplant inside the pita with s'hug, Yemeni cilantro hot sauce. How was that? Delicious. Bready, flavorful on the eggplant, hot-and-cool on the s'hug. Everything the dish is supposed to be. What about the shakshuka? If I'm listing it last there's gotta be something wrong with it, right? Nope. It's a spicy tomato sauce with bits of onion and pepper in it, and two well-poached eggs. Perfect, and with nicely chewy bits of "feta" (is it really feta, or is it jibneh?) cheese. And parsley, of course! The poached-in eggs could have been just sliiiiightly less cooked, but I like them tougher anyway. read more

Our first visit was in the morning, and there were tons of baked goods. Although I did not get to try those, they looked pretty good.
