The first time I visited a Presotea was in Montreal over a year ago. One day after work (I was there on business), I was in Chinatown, stumbled across a small Presotea store, and got a beverage. It feels like eons since I last strolled around like a tourist, without a mask or a care in the world. Good times! I was at Pacific Mall over a week ago. I saw this Presotea and decided to get a drink. There were some great deals. You could choose from a few tea flavours and get two drinks for $9. Although a great deal, what caught my eye was the sakura lychee slush. I made the same fun mistake that I did at Presotea in Montreal. I ordered a large drink. I blame my dad for always ordering a large whatever. I have followed suit. The horror! I forgot that large at this chain means ginormous! My drink came to $9 after taxes. The staff were okay. They weren't friendly. They weren't mean. Just okay. While they were making my humongous beverage, I browsed the cell phone accessories store across from it. I then came back to scan the rather extensive bubble tea flavours on the menu. My drink was finally ready. It was hefty. I was happy. I thanked the man who placed it on the counter and hauled it with me into my car. I am definitely an experienced consumer of these large drinks now. I managed to down it within the same night. In Montreal, I had to take a few breaks. Yay, me! I loved this sakura lychee drink. I didn't go crazy on the sugar, as the lychee chunks were naturally sweet. I loved the chewy cherry-flavoured tapioca. They were a light pink in colour and subtle in cherry flavour, which I loved with the lychee. I need to order this drink again. I went here a year ago and I really enjoyed my experience here!!!!!!!!!! The staff were really nice and suggested me some bubble tea's to try(not sure if it was smoothie or not)! One recommended the Mango Slush. I decided to try it and it was amazing! The place was small but the environment was clean and some people who went there were happy! I moved to Waterloo but will never forget Presotea. I hope to get it again someday! read more

I really wanted to get Real Fruit instead as I had their Mango smoothie and it was great. I wanted to give Presotea a try since they had similar concepts but on top of the usual, Presotea has basil seeds as a topping. It was a regret for me, the mango slush was not that sweet and the basil seeds was interesting but it wasn't for me. All I tasted was basil seeds (1/3 of the cup) and a very light mango taste. I was thinking it wasn't mango season but just a week ago I had Mango slush from Real Fruit that was so sweet mangoy. My boyfriend got the passion fruit with basil seed and lychee jelly. It was extremely sour and didn't have any tea flavor. First stop on my ridiculous quest to drink all the Iced Coffee drinks in this mall (which led to an imminent coffee detox). I could drink this all day (though I might die as a result). We decided to get the Japanese Burned Coffee to share. Really good prices in comparison to virtually every other coffee blended drink. The flavour is certainly unique, it's coffee, but it's a burnt coffee (which is far more appealing than it sounds). It's similar to a Vietnamese coffee I had in Woodbridge. It's rich, creamy and such a strong coffee flavour. It's perfect. Seriously, go try it. I have no complaints towards this place. They were friendly, speedy and efficient. Our regular go-to for boba when we are in P. Mall. They have a Happy Lemon now directly across from them ... should be interesting! I went with something very decadent today ... calories? There are several Presotea locations inside Pacific Mall. And even in the same mall under the same brand, their specials and offerings can be a little different. Compare to other Presotea tea's offers of $8 for 2 drinks, this particular location is $7 for 2 instead. There are also some other specials which they posted on the side of the store. Grass Jello Milk Tea was quick creamy. The only complain maybe the Jello was as smooth compared to other ones I had. I happened to be in PMall on a Saturday morning, when most BBT shops were not yet open. Although Presotea was not my first pick, they opened at 11 and I just wanted to run my errands and get out. On autopilot, I ordered a large Brown Sugar Banana Tea Latte--expecting the standard BBT cup. Boy, was I wrong. It's Bubble Tea on steroids. Pictures simply do not do the size any justice (no pun intended). It ended up replacing two meals just because of how filling it was. The service itself was quick--given the fact that they just opened for the day. The quality of the drink itself is okay. The tapioca was perfectly chewy and not over cooked, which you would often get at other locations later in the day. The large Brown Sugar Banana Latter was quite expensive, with toppings and tax it came out to a little over $9.00 (yep, for one drink). Given the fact that the large cup is actually three bubble teas in one, they can get away with that price. Overall, this is a standard BBT join with standard drinks. They do have some daily specials, so watch out for those. Would I return? Maybe, but only if my BBT of choice is closed. read more

PROS: we got one of their specials, 2 for $9 (Lychee green tea and mango slushie). Drinks were good, sizes were large. I like how they display the caloric information about their drinks. CONS: Presotea is too confusing. There were 2 promotional posters for 2 for $9. Both had mostly different drinks, and you couldn't mix and match the drinks between the different posters. Why??? Also, the drinks on their 5-6 different promotional posters in the store are NOT on the actual menu. Ex) there were 3 different kinds of mango slushies on their posters but not on the menu. I absolutely love the Panda Milk Tea here. They don't have the 2 mediums for $7 where I live, so every time I come to Pacific Mall, I specifically come to this Presotea to get my bubble tea fix. Before trying the Panda Milk Tea, I used to like Taro bubble tea, which I still do love, but it pales in comparison to the Panda Milk Tea in my opinion. It's rich in flavor, creamy, and fragrant, and I don't think I can live without it anymore. Prices are great too. I've tried the matcha bubble tea (definitely an acquired taste) and the taro milkshake with tapioca (good, but not good enough for the price in comparison to the place I usually go to), but both definitely weren't as good as the Panda Milk Tea. My friend really likes the mango slush here because it's really thick. It's definitely worth the $$, since it takes forever to finish. read more

This is an okay place. Their service is kinda slow but the drinks are good. The tapioca is a mix of either too soft or too chewy. I wish it was more consistent. The regular passionfruit green tea with tapioca was about under seven bucks with taxes but that's not too bad considering the size. My friend had given Presotea many brownie points in the past. However, quality was barely existent when I visited last weekend. My bf and I ordered a large Panda Milk Tea with fifty percent sugar and no ice. The size was indeed quite jaw-dropping. The size was at least 20 percent larger than what you would find elsewhere. However, at the same time, the price of a basic milk tea, such as this one, was pricier than what its competitors serve (usually, the basic milk teas are a dollar cheaper than other milk teas on a menu). For 6 dollars after tax, the price to portion ratio isn't quite the most thrifty option out there in the landscape of bubble tea vendors in the mall. Worst of all was the flavour. It was watery, and no this wasn't because we ordered it at fifty percent sweetness (our usual sweetness level is 30 percent). It really felt like a cost saving measure was used and thus the drink was diluted. The Panda Milk Tea is one of the company's most popular flavours, so maybe the worker who made the drink was having an off day.... Regardless, I don't believe we will be returning. If you do decide to visit, be advised to up the ante on your sweetness level - anything at 50 percent and lower will be unbearably bland. read more

I'm not really sure why Pacific Mall has SIX Presotea locations inside, and I'm not sure which one is which, so I'm just going to pick one and have that review apply to the other five. That said, while the bubble tea is about par for the course, I am a huge fan of the mango smoothies. Every other time I visit Toronto, I get the mango slush with coconut and aloe vera, and it's always amazing. The mango tastes freshly made, and the coconut and aloe vera add just enough sweetness to balance everything out without being overpowering. It's served just a little bit too cold for me, but nothing a little bit of time does not fix. While I would not go here for just bubble tea, Presotea is really an awesome place to get any mango related beverages, as their mango smoothies are just awesome. read more

I chose this bubble tea shop out of all the other tea shops in Pacific Mall because I saw a huge sign that says Panda Milk Tea. I love pandas. How can I resist? It's basically a milk tea with tapioca (black pearls) and white pearls mixed in the drink. The picture sure looked good. When I tried it though, it was just okay. The white pearls was more like clear pearls so did not have the same effect. The tapioca was okay, not super chewy and sweet like Cha Time's. The milk tea wasn't as creamy either. I also got the passionfruit lime with aloe and basil seed. Basil seed is awesome - you gotta try it! It's a plant derivative and it's super healthy but no calories (unlike tapioca balls), and just kind of fun to eat. Someone told me they look like frog eggs. But they are not. I really like their variety of drinks. Different from the usual menu. Some very cool takes which is refreshing to see. read more

Best and freshest tea in Markham! I am from NYC so theres a lot of options and choices here but none of them can beat Preso. The only thing is to make sure you bring CASH or debit card because they do not accept CHIP credit cards but they do accept TAP credit cards although it is not popular yet in the states. read more

I'm surprised by all the rave reviews because my experience was very mediocre. Service was not the greatest, which I expect is the default at Pacific Mall. The cashier was not very welcoming and it took a while for her to understand my order. The plus is that they have A TON of different flavours. I decided to order their Special Milk Tea and a Lychee Green Tea, both with tapioca. Both were meh. The lychee green tea tasted very watered down. The tapioca pearls were also not very flavorful. Good tapioca should have a hint of green tea flavoring. Maybe I should have tried some of their more popular flavours, but for the price (~$5 for a regular size), I expected better consistency. I really like this place because they have cheaper options like 2 bubble teas for $5 so if you're with a friend you can split. Or, if you're in the mood for a more premium drink you can get things like a mango coconut slush with real mango chunks on the bottom. The drinks are always cold, sweet and refreshing. If you want real bubble tea (and not that powdered stuff), try this place. I guarantee you won't regret it. I've never gotten a drink that I didn't like from here. There's a few Presotea in Pacific Mall so don't fret if one has too long of a line! They do sometimes have a wait! I've gotten the grass jelly milk tea, the burnt Japanese Coffee, strawberry banana smoothie, brown sugar milk tea . . . all have been good! Go with 1/2 sugar since even that is plenty sweet! And make sure to tell them because if you even wait a half second to tell them to make it less sweet they'll say you should've told them earlier! Anyways, pricey but delish! read more

Just another bubble tea place in Pmall. Everything looked pretty expensive - I think the large sizes after tax are $6.25. There were a few drinks on promo where you get 2 large for $10 before tax. One of these drinks was the 'panda milk tea", which on the picture, looks like regular milk tea + black and white tapioca balls. When the drink was handed to me, all the tapioca looked clear and the milk tea tasted normal. It didn't look nearly as cool as the picture. The worst drink I had in my life. This review is purely based on Mango + passion fruit juice. Maybe my standard for mango and/or passion fruit juice is too high from Real Fruit (they use real, fresh fruit). The drink tasted like watered down mango puree with passion fruit seeds in it. Absolutely disgusting. There are so many Presotea units in this mall, but I honestly don't see myself going back to ANY Presotea locations EVER. We went there yesterday and definitely would be our last time and would not recommend it to anyone! They have a large variety of drink options, big fan of the panda milk tea and grass jelly in my draaanks (jelly is already sweetened). They have a $2 special for a medium sized drink, golden milk tea (pre-made), an apple green tea and a couple of other flavours. It's a great value to try something different. Since there are quite a few Presotea locations within Pacific Mall, I want to note that my review is based on my experience at unit E23 (yes, I know the page shows D60). The worker was kind enough to give my sister and I two regular Milk teas for $7.00. My concern was the waiting time. There were only two workers, with one missing for half the time. Wait time was about 10 minutes. I would just like to note that during the wait, I did spy a spider on my arm. Once I got my drink, I was definitely not impressed by which tea was used to make it -- Lipton Tea. It certainly tasted different from other Milk teas that I have drank, but it did not taste nearly as good. The price is approximately the same as you'd find in most bubble tea places. If you like the taste of Lipton Tea, then I would highly recommend Presotea. And if you don't like the taste -- well, there are plenty of drinks on the menu and other bubble tea locations within the area. read more
