One of favorite bubble tea spots for chewy tapioca and solid-quality tea. This time, I had the Alishan Golden Oolong tea with tapioca (because why not?!) and, as always, it was a great choice. A refreshing break from the usual roasted milk tea and fruity options. The long list of drink menu on LCD tv distance away can be overwhelming, and the staff might rush you to order during peak hours, so it helps to know what you want in advance. Despite that, the result is always a reliably delicious beverage. Whether you're a seasoned bubble tea enthusiast or a newcomer, this place consistently delivers.

This is one of the 2 locations of Mr Sun in Toronto. Located in the lower level in Pacific Mall, this maybe the best option among the numerous bbt places. The handmade fresh tapioca pearls is a must order. They have just the right texture: perfect QQ. So many different kind of drinks to pick from fresh milk based, fresh fruit based or just tea only. Worth checking Mr Sun out next time when you have craving for bbt while visiting Pacific Mall.

Tried Mr Sun multiple times and I've had great experiences every time. The person taking my order was very friendly and provided recommendations on a drink to try. I really appreciated the recommended sugar level Mr Sun included on their menu as ive been very satisfied with my drink every time! The store also provided options for ice levels as well. I got the Assam milk tea (25% sugar) and the blackberry milk tea (0% sugar), both with brown sugar tapioca. The Assam milk tea is a classic here, I highly recommend if it's your first time trying Mr Sun as it has a strong tea flavor with the perfect amount of sweetness from the included sugar and the brown sugar tapioca. The blackberry milk tea was also very good, although not my favourite flavor for milk tea. On the menu it was recommended to get 25% sugar and as I was ordering, the person taking my order recommended me to have 0% sugar if I include any tapioca; I'm very glad he gave me this recommendation as the drink wouldve been too sweet otherwise! I also wanted to try the roasted milk tea today but unfortunately they were out of stock. Overall I highly recommend trying Mr Sun! Their milk tea is of high quality with a strong tea flavor, but their freshly made tapioca coupled with their stellar service made the experience very enjoyable!

Mr. Sun Tea Ratings: 4/5 Food: 4/5 - Nothing better than wrapping up the day with a bubble tea after a long manicure. My first-time having Mr. Sun and based on research I think this is the one with top reviews at Pacific Mall, and I was interested in trying their unique tapioca boba flavors, similar to the ones at OneZo. See the description of the drink we got to share below. - Peach Green Tea [GET]: I was feeling something refreshing and peachy. We got it less sweet and less ice. Although I didn't taste much of the peach flavor, but the green tea flavor was strong and nice, definitely good quality tea for sure. There's some mysterious pieces of fruits in it too, and I think it's peach chunks, and I quite enjoyed it. The mango tapioca boba was chewy, had a good texture to it, but no mango flavor whatsoever. It also comes with agar boba, tasted normal like most crystal boba out there. Ambiance: 4/5 - Mr. Sun is located on the lower level of Pacific Mall, a small boba tea place close to the west entrance. Like many other shops at P-Mall, the decorations and size of the shops are similar. The storefront was clean and bright with menu displayed on their TV screens and other brochures and posters taped all over the front counter. Another grab and go place. Price: 3.75/5 - We got a large Peach Green Tea with Mango tapioca boba for almost $10 after tax. I think the prices here are slightly higher than others ones here at the mall. I didn't think it was that impressive to worth $10 bucks, but worth a try though. Service: 4.25/5 - The person at the cash register was nice and provided recommendations on drinks and flavors of the tapioca bubbles. I appreciate the patience she has and didn't rush us despite there was a good amount of people behind us. She was kind and friendly, definitely shows good hospitality. BLUF: One of the more interesting boba shops in GTA, serving unique drinks and different flavor tapioca bubbles, and I think this week was matcha flavor. I would recommend their fruit teas, and their bobas, because the texture was great! Bouncy and chewy, just how I like it, so if you're ever at Pacific Mall, come check out Mr. Sun, and try their seasonal tapioca flavors!

I recently dropped by Pacific Mall for a Yelp elite event. I passed by Mr Sun. I have had this place bookmarked for I'd guess a year, at least. I feel that I am late on the bubble tea surge. I knew that I needed to cycle back and get some bubble tea. I sure did! It's a small tea place that is closest to the west entrance. There was a woman there who helped me out. I asked if she had any drinks with strawberry in it. I have a thing for strawberry bubble tea these days. She suggested the red sun special. It's essentially a strawberry milkshake. I let her know that I was borderline lactose-intolerant. I asked whether there was a drink without the milk. She let me know that she has lactose-free milk. Excellent! I was sold and got a large. The red sun special has a fixed level of 25% sugar. That's kind of sweet for my regular liking. I was game. It also had strawberry tapioca. Mr Sun accepts Vicinity points. I entered my phone number and all was good. My drink was just over $6. I thanked her. She advised to shake it before drinking. I brought it home. It looked pretty. I shook my drink. I then poked my straw through it, stirred, and sipped. It did taste like a milkshake. I was so happy. It was good. It wasn't all that sweet, which works perfectly for me. The strawberry tapioca was chewy and yummy. The tea tasted good. I loved it. I'm a fan. I don't know why it takes me so long to get around to visiting bubble tea places. At least I'm trying. I'll be back for more. (33)

Oh boy , the bubble tea here is like sugar water :( it was really tasty but felt like I was going get sick from how sweet it was . I ordered the special Full house tea with 50% sweet level and it definitely tasted like 110% sweetness. Definitely recommend being modest with the sugar level for your next order. The tapioca was A+ though , same with the grass jelly and pudding . I've been here a few times and they always seem to have random sales which I love ! The wait time is unfortunately pretty long , I swear I waited 20 mins which is a bit ridiculous. Before I got my drink , there was only one order before me and for some reason they took soooo long to prepare like 3 drinks ( 2 for the customer ahead and 1 for me )!

Milk tea with handmade mango tapioca (regular size) $5.80. 25% sweet, 75% ice was perfect.

I love Bubble Tea! And the made in-house tapioca trend has not yet hit Ottawa (where I currently live) so as soon as I was back in the GTA I knew I HAD TO get me some Bubble Tea with fresh tapioca pearls, lol. So the closest place to where I was staying was Mr. Sun. I got the regular sized Milk Tea with Mango Tapioca ($5.80). I don't like my drinks too sweet, so I went with 25% sweet. I opted for 75% ice, as I like my drinks cold, but I don't want to pay for a cup of mostly ice, haha. This combination was perfect for me. I really enjoyed the tapioca pearls. They were chewy but soft, and a really good consistency. I like them so much better than the usual pre-packaged ones. The drink tasted like mangoes, but the tea flavour wasn't that pronounced. I would have liked more tea flavour, but I still enjoyed it. Service was courteous and quick. The place is on the main floor of the Pacific Mall (it's not upstairs in the food court). The unit is D60 - units are labelled and are ordered in a logical fashion, lol. I'm so glad that I tried it, but how can I go back to just having regular tapioca now?

Visited recently with my brother. My drink came out to close to $7.95 and his came out to $7.35. I was a little surprised. Tapioca was $1.20, soy milk was $0.20. The staff did not asked us for a size but rather placed and order for large as a default. As well, my brother ordered the recommended uji matcha and was very disappointed. He felt it was very watered down with no matcha flavour and did not enjoy his drink. It was extra disappointing as Mr. Sun is known for their superior tea quality. While, I appreciated the vegan option and fresh tapioca, I felt the price was a little steep and not enjoyable.

Mr. Sun Teashop has specialized in high-quality drinks since 1999. A celebrity tea brand in Taiwan, Mr. Sun has won numerous awards for their quality and innovative drinks such as the Heineken Green Tea, Mr. Sun Special, and Cheese Milk Foam Oolong Tea. I spotted the teashop while I was wandering around the Pacific Mall with my friends and their handmade tapioca really intrigued us so we decided to give it a try. I love that their freshly made tapioca with healthier ingredients and less chemical additives, and they have so many flavours to choose from! The owner Jacky was also really nice and he took the time to explain his teashop and some of the most popular drinks that they offer. We decided to get one of each drink from their special menu and they were all so pretty and so delicious. They allowed us to choose our own sugar and ice level. Even though I'm normally not a fan of fruit drinks, but their drinks definitely blew me away. My personal favourite was the Red Sun Special, which is a latte with strawberry tapioca and fresh strawberry jam :D They are located at D60 on the first floor of the Pacific Mall, so why wait and come check them out!!!

A lot has changed at Pacific Mall, but they still continue to host some of the best Asian food and snack selections! Managed to give the new Mr. Sun Tea a try, which I was super excited about. They had a promotional offer for the medium-sized MR. SUN LAVA LATTE for $3.99 plus tax (from November 1-30, weekdays only, excluding holidays). This drink looked amazing with the brown sugar coating the cup and definitely tasted like a latte with tapioca! The tapioca was definitely very chewy and I'm looking forward to going back to try many of their other flavors of tapioca like the fruit series as well as special flavors like black sesame! As for this specific drink, I would have liked a little more of the brown sugar so those flavors could be more evident - but overall, I'm pleased. There's a lot of competition within Pacific Mall itself but I think this place stands out with their unique tapioca flavors.

Located close to the back of Pacific Mall in Markham this Taiwanese bubble tea brand opened their first location in Canada. It is such an innovative company with unique flavours and recipes. They have over 20 different flavours of tapioca made in house fresh daily and I feel less guilty having them knowing that their recipe has 30% less fat compared to the traditional recipe. The tapioca is soft yet chewy and delicious. They have an option for lactose free milk for an additional cost of $0.25, they use real tea and cane sugar and change out their tea every 4 hours to guarantee freshness Where else can you get Heineken mixed green tea? Mr. Sun is one of their signature drinks, but don't worry you won't get buzzed off it because it has all the flavour but none of the alcohol, perfect for those who enjoy the taste but don't want the glow. I highly recommend their Mango green tea with Konjac, Mr. Sun green tea, Red Sun special (strawberry milkshake) such a burst of strawberry flavour even the tapioca is strawberry flavoured, Rainbow tapioca milk tea and their refreshing Grapefruit green tea. All large drinks mentioned are $6 except for the rainbow tapioca milk tea it's $6.50 since there are 3 different tapioca flavours. ***They have an Early Grey milk tea with grass jelly during the weekdays from Jan 14 - Feb 28 for only $4.50!*** Come by and check out their new location located at D60 because I know I'll be back again.

Seen too many picture on my social media, so lets give it a try. I didnt know they were located inside Pacifical mall. Thought they had an actual standing store. But looks like this is their only location. With so many bubble tea places, the first thing i look at is their menu to look for their signature drink. They have a signature drink that made with non alcoholic beer - Mr. Sungreen Tea. And then they have handmade fruit tapioca - strawberry, mango and brown sugar. I saw the tapiocas in the making! So we decided to try something basic: Strawberry tapioca milk tea Brown sugar tapioca milk tea All the hype about this place, i was so excited to try it out. But maaaaaaan i was disappointed! The brown sugar tapioca was so tasteless. No different than normal tapioca. Strawberry tapiocas were a little better, had a faint strawberry flavour to it. But nothing extravagant for me to come all the way back here for.

I was walking around PMall and just before I left, I passed by Mr. Sun BBT. I've had this place on my "to visit" list and actually forgot it was located here. I hadn't been to the mall in a while so I figured what better time to try Mr. Sun. As a self proclaimed BBT aficionado, I had to try it. At first glance, there was plenty of options to choose from but being my first time here, I had to try their milk tea. They had the Full House Milk Tea special right on the counter so I decided to try that first. It had 3 toppings, grass jelly, pudding and their housemade brown sugar tapioca, I was sold. I did notice that this particular drink was priced a little on the higher side but with 3 toppings included, I wasn't too surprised. It was similar to The Alley and OneZo pricing, so it was within average for a little more premium bubbletea. The staff was polite and answered all my questions and my wait time was short. Now for the drink, the Tea itself wasn't that strong (which I was a little sad about) but I think the problem was the level of sugar. I left it at their original level (50%) but with the 3 toppings in the drink, it was quite sweet. I did like the creaminess but I will definitely lessen the sugar next time. I absolutely LOVED the handmade tapioca. It had the perfect chewy texture and was filled with brown sugar flavour. I had that flavour in my mouth the rest of the night. The other toppings were a-okay but the tapioca outshone them. I do however wish that they included a bit more toppings for charging that amount. First impressions are very good and I will come back to try other teas and their other tapioca flavours!

Across from it is my local Scotiabank branch. I visit the drive-thru often to withdraw money, and go into the branch now and again. Every time I visit the bank, I flag getting bubble tea someday, but never go in. Why? Parking is limited, this parking lot isn't exactly crafted for safety, and there has been construction happening here for at least a year. The other night, I visited the drive-thru ABM, saw plenty of parking spots on a rainy Monday night, and decided to drop by Kung Fu Tea for the first time. I used to come here when there was a ramen restaurant a couple of doors down. It has since been replaced several times. I couldn't tell you what it is now! I walked into Kung Fu Tea and was greeted by an illuminated logo of a kung fu master and words of wisdom that looked like a kid had put each letter on a fridge door, except that it was a wall and it's permanent. The couple ahead of me ordered a number of drinks to go. A few minutes after they had left, my order was ready. I loved my drink. The passion fruit is blended finely. You don't drink pulp, but you know that it's real fruit when you see the residue. Its taste was fresh and bright. The coconut jelly had the perfect sweetness and chewiness. There is free wifi at this tea place. I can see myself hanging out here. It's probably the closest bubble tea place by my home, which is both good and scary. I am a fan. I'll be back. (386)
