We got new windows throughout house. Many of the screens have ripped or come apart from the frames and needed repair. Some are STILL coming apart from the frames. Many of the windows have become damaged (seal broke) and it's been a NIGHTMARE trying to get the replaced. About 2 YEARS AGO, I requested replacement and a few have come in (after cancelled appointments) and we are STILL waiting for 2 more windows to be replaced. I was told today that it would be ANOTHER 12-15 MONTH WAIT!! Theyveint even give me an appointment. TERRIBLE COMPANY! TERRIBLE SERVICE! TERRIBLE PRODUCTS! Beware!!!!! read more

When loves takes a turn! I wrote a previous review for PHR how I loved their product and service. Although I still feel the same when it comes to "normal" service calls; when there is a problem, however, they give you the run around and don't stand by their product or their word!!!! I have promoted this company to everyone believing in them! But this is my latest encounter! From the salesman, to the guy who came to measure, to the installers, to the inspector and the "big wig" who came to inspect that the windows were installed correctly AND to video me about how much i loved this company, I want to thank you for selling me a window that is not appropriate for the structure of the house. Yes, the window works completely fine BUT I cannot clean the screens because of the way they are inserted and the area is too big. My concern about the window was that my sink is right on front and would I be able to remove screens to wash windows. Every representative that entered my home assured me that I would be able to remove them and clean them and the grooves of the window. Fast forward to windows being put in. After the window was put in the installer informed me the screens could not be removed. I was then told that they would have the company who made the window make a new screen - which after 9 months of run around and numerous days taking off from work for the men to come with the new screens 3 or 4 - which was the exact same screen i already have, i finally got the representative, Mike, on the phone that told me the truth - your window works fine and the screens are fine but where your window is it will be difficult for you and you should have been told that. So, Mike, who was never In my house knew this but everybody who came to my home didn't?!?!? Were they all here just to make a sale and not care for the customer? I am so disappointed with this company and how i paid a lot of money for a window that - for me- is not a hundred percent functional!!!! Shame on this company for just making a sale and not caring about a product that I was told "we sell these windows all across the nation and the screens are difficult to take in and out to begin with but most of yours is harder because of the sink. We had our house and garage sided, new gutters, new slider door and new front entrance door & basement windows replaced April of 2022 - July 2022. The slider installed was not the model the wrote in the contract and it took nearly 1 year to replace the handle with an exterior lock that we had selected and fix the screen which came out of the frame after a few weeks of use. The front door had to be adjusted twice. The garage siding (separate installer from the house) was installed incorrectly - its too tight and seams are very sloppy. Numerous pieces have detached and the window trim (also done incorrectly) leaks. They also broke the conduit to our solar panel system and left wiring exposed at install. We have several "warranty" visits and each time they send a single technician for 60 minutes which is not enough time or staff to correct our garage issues. They claim they will return in a few days with "more crew" and never show up or call. I have spent numerous hours contacting this company and can never reach anyone outside of customer care agents. I have been told because my issues are largely cosmetic I will have to wait until there is a crew available. No stars & DO NOT hire this company to work on your home! They only care about booking new work! read more

This company has been making repeated calls to our home phone. We do not pick up, if we do not know the caller personally. Sales reps have also solicited us at our residence. We attended a Local Home Show this past weekend, and a sales rep badgered my wife in to an appointment, even while we were talking to another vendor. 2 people doing door-to-door sales pitches came over one day. My husband and I liked what they were saying and decided to have a representative come in to view the siding on the back of our house. The representative was supposed to come at 5 and came at 7. He did not leave until 11 pm!!! He started off by telling us that some of the windows in the house needed to be replaced too because they did not look good. We had recently moved into the house and had 2 inspections done. The windows that needed to be replaced were replaced and the others were good. He did not want to hear that! He finally went outside after an hour with a flash light to see the siding. He proceeded to tell us how everything had rotted and we needed to have other things replaced as well. He went back and forth to his car a couple of times to call his manager and get materials to showcase the products. Around 9:15pm we began to really get tired of him being here so I started dropping little hints about the time and having to go to work in the morning. He acted as if he did not hear me. He continues to talk about the products and wanted to lock us in for a deal that night. We negotiated a price of $5500 (again this is just for the back of our 1200 square foot home). We felt so pressured to sign a contract with him that day. Over the next day or so we decided to look into other companies about the siding. Another company quoted us $3200 for the work with similar quality materials. We then began calling to cancel our contract. When e called initially, we were told that the department had closed for the day so we would have to call the following day. When you want to cancel they send a sales representative to try to talk you out of doing so. The same sales rep came, but we did not let him come inside because we know he would try to stay for hours again. Before he left, he informed us that there would be a cancelation fee of 15%of the projected project. He could not give us an answer as to why that is. No work was done, no contractor came to assess our home, no work was done at all!! I still want to figure out why we would have to pay any fees. This is also something that is not stated on the contract. No where in any of the paper work does it say that we have to pay any cancelation fees, especially if no work was done. We will be contacting the better business bureau in reference to this. read more

This company has been the worse in treating customers with respect or appreciation. After the sale of products it all went downhill. I purchased windows & sliding door and when I wanted to change installation date I got a phone call and email threatening to drop the order at my doorstep if I didn't keep install date so I caved in and allowed it. 10 days after I noticed damage to my floors and the color on the exterior had missing color streaks, I reported it they asked if I was sure it was done by them, then it took them over a month to send an inspector. He came today alluded that color was scrapped off by someone and the floor was damaged by my dog. I was outraged by his comments as we went back and forth the angrier I got so I had to ask him to leave my house THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS!! I will be reporting them to the BBB and everywhere. This is my third time using Power and if I had any more windows I would use them again. The windows are on par with Andersen and they offer a lifetime warranty! They first came out to do my front windows and my sliding back door and windows. They were very communicative and professional. There is a lot of involvement on their part to make sure that the work is done well and and to your satisfaction. They aren't he cheapest, but if you're replacing windows on your home, do you want the cheapest. And it's all American made, can't beat that. Their service is also great. Had my roof done 1 year ago by them and I had to call them back because the roof just didn't settle right. The ventilation device at the edge made the shingles stick upward. After cancelling on me twice, they made it out to fix the issue. The issue turned out to be the poor design of the ventilation piece. I'm still not satisfied but they did try to resolve it as best they could. I do appreciate how Mike and Chris seemed to genuinely care and wanted to make things right. Would I recommend them? The only reason I have left one star is because I am not able to leave zero. I refuse to have work done by this company simply because of their poor sales techniques and their lack of general tact. These people are insufferable. We received a quote from them a year ago in which, as others have said, they stayed in my house until 10 PM on a week night. The sales people ignore any clear social signs of dismissal and they refuse to take no for an answer. My husband and I have been barraged by calls since then to my house and my cell phone. I have received 6 calls in the last week, and my husband has received 2. These calls are coming AFTER we have asked multiple times to be removed from their contact list and to stop calling us. In addition, they walk around the neighborhood and knock on doors employing hard sell techniques to get you to sign up just for a quote. They have come to my door 3 times in two years. If you, in order to be polite and get them to go away, give your number, the calls will quite literally never stop coming. If they knock on your door, do yourself a favor and close the door without another word. read more

Do not buy any service from this company. This company is very helpful when they want to set up a job, or come out to quote you. Work was fine, perhaps on the pricey side, but they promise great things with their warranty. I purchased a door, among other things, and it has been nothing but a nightmare. The trim around the window has cracked. Since May 2020 I have been trying to get them to come to my house. Also the door is misaligned, and I can see daylight coming through this very expensive front door. My family and I have to wear jackets inside our living room and I am running up a huge bill trying to keep everyone warm. In December, someone came to the house, but he didn't have the parts to fix the crack, nor parts to fix the misalignment of the door. He told my wife he would come back on 12/29 to fix the gap. When I call 12/29, someone on the warraty department said they will come out on 1/4/21 from 8am-10am to fix everything. I call at 9:30am on 1/4/21 to confirm someone is still coming and Chris the warranty manager says the appointment was for 1/5/21. When I tell he is wrong, and he keeps insisting that is the case, he finally looks at notes and realizes that it was for 1/4/21, but the parts are not even coming to them until 1/8/21. The company does not care. If you want to spend a lot of money, and are completely fine that you will not have the supposed warranty they claim, then do what you will. If, on the other hand, you believe a company should follow through with what they sell, save your money, save yourself from all the headaches, and do not buy any service from this group. They give contractors a bad bad name and reputation. read more

poor quality product, do not honor there warranty, and also dishonest when dealing with there customers and show little concerns for issuescaused by there shotty product and poor installation job. i spent over $33k on doors and 22 windows, after a few months i noticed water coming in through the new bay window installed, I called in May 2023 to report and they werent able to send someone until October. they re-caulked window and were adamant this would solve the problem. The window leaked worse after that, coming from underneth the window seat as well as in both corners ruining my sheetrock and floor with every rainstorm, i called back they were next available Dec 28th. service man Danny said they can re-caulk window, but I explained I can not take any chances and would prefer a new window as he could see water was pooring in from undernetih and at the top. he said okay he would put in for warranty to replace window and some one would call me back tomorrow, after 3 weeks of no contact I called back and they said that warrnaty was denied and I refused service which was a lie, they said they could next send some one in May to service again. i explained I cannot wait that long as my home is being destroyed by the water, she said there is nothing they can do, when I asked to speak with a manger she said she would pass my info to a supervisor who may or may not call me back. highly shady company with inferior product, who do not stand by there warranty or product and treat there good customers like dirt. i may have to replace the garbage window on my own now to avoid further damages to my home and try to recoup damages. avoid this company like the plague!! read more

I have used Power HR twice now, once to replace a sliding glass door and then to replace the soffits and gutters on my house. The sales pitch that the reps do when they come and sit down with you can be a bit long but I was OK with that. They are certainly not the cheapest company you can go with it either. All that being said I believe you get what you pay for and I have been more then happy with both jobs they did for me. The workers were professionals. They were very clean and hauled away all the junk from both jobs. They use very high quality material that I was happy with. They show up when they say they are going to and actually complete the job in the amount of time they say they will. I plan on giving them a call when I'm ready to replace my windows. read more

I had a vinyl siding job done.The salesman was here in early October I also got the same pitch of all the friends and family discounts as everyone else gets blah,blah,blah.The salesman told me the work would get started in November.The pre install appointment was scheduled for 2 weeks later.The project manager comes out and takes all his measurements for the materials he will need then tells me they're 12 weeks out and can't start the job until February.Of course the week they were supposed to start got pushed back another week.They told me all my outside lighting fixtures would be taken down and capped then I would be responsible for an electrician to put them back when the job was done.They came and did the job in 2 1/2 days and it looked great.The dumpster sat in my driveway for over a week after they finished the job and I had to park my truck in the street.Two weeks later I'm walking around my house and notice a ripped screen,so I continue to walk around the house and find 5 ripped screens.I had all brand new Andersen windows installed in September so I know they weren't ripped from old age or Mother Nature.I call customer service and they ask me for pictures.I email them the pictures and the guy tells me they'll send someone out in a couple of days but a week goes by and nobody shows up.Now my wife calls them screaming.One guy puts her on hold and doesn't even tell her he is doing so.They said they were really swamped and would send someone out to grab the screens and fix them.My wife says we can't do that because our warranty with Andersen will be voided.We call Andersen and explain what happened so Andersen tells us it's $75 per screen and it will cost $375.I tell Andersen to call Power because they're paying for them not me.Andersen calls me back and says Power can't pay them directly that I have to pay for them and Power will reimburse me.I pay Andersen and call Power back and tell them I just paid Andersen and I was told I would have a check in 5-7 business days.So here we hour 7 business days later and still no check.The salesman was great telling me about their A+ ratings on J.D. Power but that's not what I'm dealing with. read more
