we had the best experience with American Home! they replaced our roof and 5 skylights. they were professional and clean and very nice!

if you are looking for a new roof, this is the company to call, Chris our sales rep and point person was outstanding. His presentation was honest and straight forward, he didnt try to sell us stuff we didnt need or want and after inspection of our skylight he could have easliy said we need new ones, but he was honest and said they are good no reason to spend money unnecessarily. The crew was able to finish the job in one day and cleaned up extremely well. The price was better than others and was flexible on how we paid, acutally offered financing if you wanted it. I would highly recommend giving them a call if you need a roof done. read more

Worked with Travis on a persistent roof leak above my home office, which seemed likely to require a small bit of resealing but potentially a roof replacement. Due to a busy season it took AHC quite a while to fit us in, but once they did, the work was done quickly and thoroughly, and for free as an apology for the delay. Naturally, having the reseal done meant we had a multi-month drought after, but at this point we've finally had enough rain I can say the reseal worked as desired. Very happy and will return to AHC for future roofing needs. read more

I contacted multiple contractors in the area to give me an estimate to replace my roof and gutters. I came across American Home Contractors through a google search and their qualifications were above anyone in the area. 154 google reviews with an average of 5.0, GAF Master Elite status, and over 500 projects in the area. The point of contact for our project was David DaVeiga. He was extremely thorough in his initial assessment of our roof. He pointed out some of the big issues that could have posed a problem in the coming months and he gave perfect solutions to fix it. His team was very efficient and impressive. They completed our roof replacement in one day and it came out perfect. The gutters took only a few hours and looked great as well. Even our neighbors were impressed with how efficient and timely the crew was. I highly recommend American Home Contractors! They were a pleasure to work with and we are extremely happy with how our roof & gutters were done. read more

I had a small leak on my roof. AHC was recommended to me and I'm glad I decided to call them. I worked with the owner Jon and Corey back at the office. Corey was an excellent communicator and customer service was his top priority. Jon came out, sealed a few areas for me and said I was ok with the existing roof for a while longer. How much did he charge? Nothing! All I can say is when the time comes for a roof, I'll be working with Jon and the AHC crew. I can't say enough about their honestly and professionalism! read more

It's been a pleasure working with the American Home Contractors team. My first meeting with Dave was handled professionally and with care and consideration. This treatment carried over through my entire experience with American Home Contractors. We replaced the old stucco and cedar siding with James Hardie planks and shingles. All of our windows were replaced with new Beechworth Windows. We also replaced all soffit and gutters. Our house looks like a brand new house! We are so happy with this new transformation. AHC completed our project in about two weeks. They are very efficient hard workers, perform quality work, and they are neat and clean. If we had any questions throughout the process, Dave was always available via text or a call to answer our questions. Thank you American Home Contractors! I highly recommend! read more

Great communications and great work. Used them for a new roof, which was completed at the end of May and has held nicely thru some bad weather already.. Great price and estimate with no surprises. Would highly recommend them read more

We searched for a windows contractor on Home Advisor. After comparing to several contractors, we finally pick American Home. The salesperson showed up quickly and presented us with samples. He was very, polite, professional and not pushing. The window should be ordered from Ohio manufactures right away and be installed the weekend before Thanksgivings. For some reason, the person who is in charge our project left the company and our project was left in the drawer without putting any order. When I called the week before scheduled installation, folks from American Home was surprised to find out that we have been left behind hanging dry. I am glad that the owner, John Parker, called us immediately and apologized sincerely. He did everything he can trying to fix the issue. The order was submitted right away and was finished within three weeks. Installation of our seven windows happen on Saturday. It is the busiest day every week for them. You need to schedule at least two-three weeks ahead if you want it done on weekend. The two guys came in the morning. He kindly protect our floor and carpet with cover. I thought it will take at least a day, and I am happy that all windows were installed within 3 hours. The wall and the window trims get scratched. I have to re-touch the trims and re-paint the walls. During the whole process, the owner kept constant communication with us on every update. read more

We had a leak in the roof and Travis came by to give a quote. Emailed it soon thereafter and wasn't pushy at all. We ended up not doing the roof (I did a patch instead) but that's probably only good for a few years when we do need to do it totally I will call Travis. He was professional and not just trying to sell. Thanks read more

I was contacted by the AHC project manager soon after I posted my review on Yelp. He promptly did the roof replacement proposal I had asked for at a very competitive price. The most important thing, though was that he recognized and apologized for his mistake. read more

We had a small ceiling leak on the back extension of our house. I called AHC and Dave DaVeiga responded. We set up an appointment. I was impressed with him from our first phone conversation. Now, my wife and I had our suspicions that we were going to need a new roof (shingles were starting to curl etc.) but of course we don't know much about this stuff. Dave was prompt, professional and thorough. Our suspicions were correct. He did an extensive walk through with us. Dave came back a few days later with a quote. I did some research and we decided to go with them. Mainly because of Dave and the feeling we both got that he really enjoyed and took a great deal of pride in his work and his crew's work. While we were waiting for our roof to be done I noticed that one of our neighbors went the cheap route while replacing their roof. Let's just say it rained a lot during that time and I saw the trucks for her roofers out there almost every time. Dave always kept in contact. Never ghosted us like some contractors have a tendency to do. He showed up when promised. His crew was efficient and super professional. They did a stellar job all within the amount of time estimated. If you need a new roof do yourself a favor and call these folks. You will not regret it (like I'm sure my poor neighbor is). SO HAPPY I found this company.... a cut above the rest! I found American Home Contractors through an internet search, and since they were one of the only roofing companies I was considering that had no negative reviews on yelp, (and many positive ones), I called and spoke with Chris Core, who was available to come to our home that day. He was super nice, generous and honest, spent alot of time addressing all our questions and explaining what to expect, and gave us a long list of references of jobs (w/ addresses) completed in our surrounding area. He had a proposal ready the following day, and was able to start installing our new roof immediately, accommodating all our time constraints.(most other co.'s were booked months in advance). From my very first appointment with Chris, till the day Chris and Lenny's crew completed the job from start to finish, my family and I were more than impressed with the companies professionalism, great communication skills, and standard of 'excellence' in all aspects of the job. Chris, Lenny and his crew were so considerate, dependable, and VERY fast and efficient, cleaning up while they were installing the new roof, and finishing the job sooner than was proposed! These guys ROCK!! The roof looks amazing, and the property is cleaner than even before they came! Chris and his crew went over and above what I ever would have expected, in their knowledge, skill, and quality customer service. Unequivocally, I highly recommend this company, Chris and Lenny's team... you will not be disappointed! (at a great rate I might add :), I will definitely be using them for future projects on my home. read more

Even though John wasn't able to help me with the issue I had, knowing that he still picked up the phone to check and see if there was anything he could help with. I told him of the situation and he gave me some advice, free of charge and only asked that I consider him when thinking of any future work. It's rare for people to offer advice free anywhere, much less in an area where most people are unfamiliar, and can get some *bad* advice. I have to thank John for his honesty and his help, and if he was willing to do it for nothing, just imagine how that ethic and honesty can be used when actually doing the work. I'll consider John any time I need something done. read more

I am so impressed with American Home Contractors of Florham Park. This is my second experience working with them and once again they delivered 5 Star service. I recently called Jon and Chris to find out about replacing my gutters. They called me back immediately, came to my home on the same day to give me an estimate, and explained in detail my options. The job was completed the next day and both Chris and Jon followed up with me to make sure I was happy with the service and results. Their price was extremely fair and their service is by far the best I have ever experienced.THEY BRING GREAT VALUE! I have already recommended them to a neighbor and would recommend them to family and friends. read more

I had a great experience with AHC. I recently needed to replace the entire roof for my rental property. I got multiple quotes but ended up going to AHC because of how professional they were in their communication with me. Chris Core was my contact at the company. Given I am thousands of miles away in CA I had to rely on him for running the entire thing and coordinating with my HOA (getting approvals etc.) and my tenant. Needless to say I couldn't be happier with how the process unfolded. I certainly recommend AHC for any roofing needs. read more

These guys are FAST & they do high quality work. We had our vinyl siding redone. Very professional & easy to communicate with, which is so important when doing any kind of contracting work. We hit a minor snag where they didn't seal an area after removing the old siding on the first day so a raccoon got into our attic overnight, waking us up at 4am rummaging around there. However they offered to pay for an exterminator & they quickly sealed it up when they got to the house. Also, there were materials still left around our house after they finished (they started another job before fully finishing ours), which made us a little put off. But once those were cleaned up a few days later, we felt incredibly happy about the whole project. These were both probably random instances that just happened to have occurred with our project & we don't think it is any indication of their work ethic. We already recommended AHC to our neighbors & would recommend them to anyone looking to redo siding or roofing. The team handling the gutters did an A+ job as well. Now when we get home we are so excited to walk around & admire their work... feels like a brand new house! read more

Highly recommend. Great customer service. New roof looks great. Thanks Cory! You were always available to answer any questions.

American Home Contractors were hired to inspect the roof, roof shingles and fix any issues. This visit was very useful especially when they charged absolutely nothing for the services. They helped to understand the attic, window & other electrical details. The genuine person whom you can trust for any job. Thank you, Jon, for coming at my place. Hope to work with you again read more

Jon was amazing and responsive. NJ has had a lot of storms lately. I called Jon and he was able to fit me in within 24 hours. He came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. He even took pictures so that I was aware of the issue, and could visually understand. Nowadays there are so many contractors that overcharge and underperform, it is amazing to find an honest, hardworking, and efficient, roofer. I would highly recommend his company to anyone. read more

I utilized American Home Contractors for a window replacement job. The service experience was top-notch from top to finish. Dave D. from AHC communicated with me regularly throughout the entire process, so I didn't have to chase this company at each and every step of the process (as is unfortunately the case with other contractors). Dave demonstrates a clear interest in (and knowledge of) his profession, and he was very responsive and flexible with us. AHC was on time EACH time on both estimation and installation days. I was happy with the quality of their workmanship, and overall they delivered as promised. Based on the results of this project, I highly recommend American Home Contractors to those interested in using their services. read more
