Bottom Line: A new location with an upbeat staff serving tasty sandwiches, chips, cookies, coffees and sodas. Gone are the days of me sitting at work craving Potbelly and feeling frustrated that both nearby locations were beyond security at BWI airport. Finally, PotBelly has come to Linthicum Heights and judging by how busy it was on a Wednesday at 1:20pm, it will be a huge success. If you are thinking about Linthicum Height's newest eatery, here's some information you may find helpful: - Located in a brand new shopping center (more like eating center) behind an under construction Chick-fil-A. To enter the center from northbound Nursery Road you'll need to make a u-turn. - Sandwiches are always made to order and all the ingredients are fresh. My go to is the Mediterranean with chicken or Pizza sandwich. For a lighter but equally satisfying option I like the Med Salad and Powerhouse Salad. - Drink options include my beloved fountain Diet Coke, other Coca-Cola and Pepsi options and freshly brewed ice tea. They also have a "bottle shop" where you can get different bottled drinks from the cooler. - The staff is upbeat and friendly. Even though this location is new all of the staff seemed very experienced. - The interior is typical Potbelly - a potbelly stove, some local art work and vintage inspired lighting. They have a mix of average height and high-top tables. - There are entrances off of the front parking lot and the back parking lot. Once rest of the tenets, like Chipotle and Dunkin Donuts. move into this eating center, the additional parking lot and back door entrance will likely be much needed and appreciated. - I suspect the peak time here by far is weekday lunch times thanks to employees from the nearby government offices, Northrop Grumman employees and other local businesses. Although there are many hotels in the area, I bet week nights are really quiet and the weekends are even quieter. Very disappointed in this location. Piss poor service. I was the only one in line and there were three people behind the counter and it took almost 4 minutes to even be acknowledged. For the most part this is a standard Potbelly's, so the sandwiches were pretty good. The bread was toasted well and the ingredients were packed snuggly inside without smooshing the bread. The restaurant was clean, the service quick, and the workers friendly. Like most Potbelly's, it's a huge step up from Subway, but not quite a fantastic meal. My wife and I flew out of BWI on 11/15/2021. After going through security we stopped at the Potbelly in Terminal A. We ordered the ham, cheese, egg and mushroom breakfast sandwich but asked for it without ham. After we checked out we looked at the receipt and the cashier decided to charge us for a baseline egg breakfast sandwich (same price as the combo) and then added charges for the cheese and mushrooms. When I pointed out his and that the same sandwich but including ham would be the baseline price she refused to listen, was rude, dismissive and confrontational. She offered to issue a refund if we gave back the food. . There are many other options in Terminal A-- don't use this Potbelly unless you want to be treated like a baby treats a diaper. read more

Look I like potbelly. A lot. It's just this location I have problems with. I don't think they've ever actually gotten an order right, but it's always in ways I'd feel dumb complaining about. Paid for an extra topping and it's not there, wrong cheeses, missing salad toppings, etc. most recent example from 10 minutes ago: got a salad asked for feta, croutons and no tomato. You can't beat a brand new Potbelly's within 10 minutes from work. This area is slowly adding more lunch options and this Potbelly's is another great addition. This is a new location but they've already put in a good system for handling the crowd. There is a little bit of seating and in typical Potbelly's fashion they have a live musician during the busier hours. They have someone taking orders in the line which expedites the process a little. They'll double check to make sure the sandwich coming out of the oven and they got my sandwich right with no issue. I had a Big Roast Beef with provolone and everything topping but onions. Prefect sized sandwich with just the right amount of toppings. Unfortunately they were out of the chocolate chocolate cookies but that just tells me they are pretty good. The customer service here was top notch, in typical Potbelly's fashion. It took under 10 minutes for me to get my sandwich in a line that was long. Shakes, smoothies, ice cream cookies sandwiches...all the greatness of Potbelly's finally comes close to work. I am giving them a 4 star review because I dont want to be dishonest based off two persons ignorance and one bad experience. The food is good and usually dont have a long wait at this location. My food is always hot and hits the spot, however if you have a bad encounter like I did where your being held up and told illogical lies, good luck with the manager stepping in and corporate. You can contact corporate as you dont wish to make a big scene but have the issue addressed and they will respond but force you to download there app for a small/partial reimbursement of your bad experience (free sandwich) which you must redeem in 2weeks and then dust there hand of you. -_- read more

Came on vacation and discovered this gem across from our hotel. Tried them out the first night and was hooked. We are vegetarians and enjoyed the Mediterranean and the mushroom melt very much. Their soups are good as well. We sought them out throughout our stay in Maryland. The one on west nursery road gave us the best service. Would highly recommend this shop and hope they open one in Florida soon. We are lacking a good fast service sandwich shop that is reasonably priced. read more

We are happy to see a Potbelly's closer to our home. The sandwiches are filling but don't sit heavy on your stomach. Haven't had any issues at this location. Plenty of parking and the Linthicum Heights area doesn't ever seem to have any slow traffic when we go through it. read more

Totally agree with the 4-Star rating for this place. We found this place in Yelp and decided to try it out while attending a meeting nearby and we were not disappointed. We had The Club and it was just delicious. The place is clean and it has a very nice menu. Would definitely recommend it.
