Bottom Line: A chain sandwich shop that prides itself on super fast service. Overall I like the new Jimmy John's location in Linthicum Heights, close to the BWI airport, various government offices, lots of businesses and a plethora of hotels. As can be expected from a new eatery, the restaurant is bright and clean. There are tables for eating in but most people get it go. In addition to a variety of sandwiches, Jimmy John's has chip, cookies, pickles, soda and iced tea. The down side to Jimmy John's in general is that their focus on fast service often takes precedence over accuracy. Except for not being cut in half, my sandwich last week was made correctly. Time will tell how often this JJ's location gets its right. In an area that is very underserved for restaurants, Jimmy John's is smart to move into the space previously occupied by Bay Leaf Indian restaurant and to get their doors open before Panera, Chipotle, Chick-fil-A and Potbelly and a few others move in down the street. However, I am still a fan of small, local businesses so I think Adamm's Airport Deli will continue to be my go to spot for sandwiches. read more

Staying at a local hotel with a kitchen but on the second day fell ill and was unwilling/unable to make dinner. Didn't want pizza or chinese delivery and didn't know when I would be able to hold any food down, so take out subs were ideal. They DO deliver locally but the boyfriend and I had to step out to get my unhappy belly some Sprite and Dramamine, so opted to pick up. The order was ready when we arrived, counter service was very friendly, restaurant was spotless. Boyfriend raved about his #8, add bacon and guac spread. It was only the bread and the location but this store has rude staff. Besides, the app is not really good. System error/mistaken my order I placed in real-time to be ready - the next day the store opens. The app put my order on the next day and took my money! I was so angry; I wasted my time, gas to come here and my order is not even in the store's order system. I have very limited time and I expect my order to be ready on the date/time I placed my order given that I already paid for it; why would a system put my order the next day!! Figure that out; the store was not even accommodating and the headquarters ' customer service did not care. Awful. Once I finished my gift card, I won't eat JJ anymore. read more

I called Jimmy John's to deliver some sandwiches to DHS furloughed employees; who working without pay & screening passengers and their bags at BWI Airport. One of the store employees (Tom) ensured me they do not deliver to the airport. Tom quickly called the owner (Ted) to inform him what I was requesting. Ted called me to say, they do not deliver to BWI Airport but made an exception when I informed him I was in the ME TOO movement (furloughed Federal worker); and gave me a discount. I believe this is my favorite JJ, I have tried 3 other in the area (downtown, Canton & Locust Point) I have visited this one at least 6 times and the bread has always been fresh. Mine & my hubby's have sandwiches been consistent in flavor and amount of toppings. I find with the others you can get stale bread or sometimes a little chincy on toppings. Its clean and not just because it's new but because you can tell someone is actually wiping tables and counters down. Also you don't feel rushed when deciding on what you want, nothing is more frustrating than a cashier staring you down in the face while you are trying to figure out what to order. At work we have used the online ordering system 2x and it has been very easy to use and the orders were correct and waiting for pick up (we are on the other side of aviation Blvd, delivery not available) read more

Friendly crew even 1/2 hour before closing. Sandwiches made quickly and correctly. Bread tasted and felt fresh, even at the end of the day. Lots of dedicated parking out front. Only issue is how early they close (compared to some Jimmy John's I've been to) but this area gets really dark and deserted late so I don't blame them. read more

The sandwiches are fine, but the workers are a bunch of idiots. My bill is $14.56, I give them $15.56, the guy gives me my 56 cents back plus an additional 44 cents in coins. He gives me lip about "the $15 would have worked just fine". The rocket scientist behind the cash register can't figure out I made it easy for him and that all I needed was a dollar bill for my change. The Vito was pretty good as was my wife's vegetarian, however the service was poor. I placed an order on line and then called to request cheddar cheese instead of provolone. I was asked if I could please hold. After 5 minutes I hung up and called back. The person answers the phone "hello" I had to ask twice if it was JJ since he was so unprofessional and he sounded confused that someone was calling. Next I made the request for cheddar. "We only have provolone." I told him that's fine. The sandwich shows up with no cheese at all! The food is pretty good, better than Subway but check your order and be explicit. I give people the benefit of the doubt before I call them racist, but there is a white woman with two tattoos on her wrist who is clearly racist. The first time I came, I noticed she didn't cut the sandwich's for African Americans, nor did she thank them for their business. For everyone else she cut their sandwiches down the middle and thanked them for their business. As an African American she gave me the same treatment. Three weeks later I came back to the location, and the woman with the two tattoos on her wrist were making the sandwiches again. There was an African American male taking the orders and the supervisor on duty and the woman with the two tattoos on her wrist were giving him evil looks behind his back. The tattoo girl was once again giving African Americans less service than others. Everyone but African Americans got their sandwich sliced down the middle and a thanks for business. This time, after I ordered, I walked over to watch her make sandwich. Once she was done making sandwich, she went to wrap the sandwich without slicing it down the middle. I politely asked her "could you slice my sandwich down the middle?"..she snapped back "next time ask for it to be cut before I make it!" She hadn't even wrapped it up. She still had time to cut it down the middle. I told her that every Jimmy John I have ever went to automatically cuts it down the middle. She rolled her eyes. I'm writing this review not only to tell there are white employees there treating African American customers bad, but the way the two white women were rolling their eyes at their African American male coworker , they don't respect their African American Peers either. I wouldn't be surprised if this Jimmy Johns location has a negative racial issue come up in the future. Whether it be be against African American customers or African American conworkers there. This place closes at 8:30 apparently not 9:00. I showed up at 8:37 and was ignored for a few minutes. Once I placed my order I was told "we ain't got those ingredients and we closing so I ain't cutting anymore up". This came from the shift manager. Easy fix though. I will just take my business down the road to Potbelly sandwiches. read more
