Birthday Bash Event Review Only! I received an email that my local Chilk-fil-A restaurant was having a November birthday bash event for a customer appreciation event. The event included a decorated table, face painting ticket, pictures with the Chick-fila cow , the birthday person gets to spin the prize wheel table side , and they also get a free dessert. You had to RSVP for the event and could invite up to six guests. I RSVP'd for a party of four. We received emails that we were confirmed and a follow up email the day of the event to do a final confirmation. We arrived and were greeted by an associate and shown to our reserved table. We were also greeted by Katie, the marketing director, who was so pleasant in welcoming us and gave us the low down on the schedule of events. Our table was decorated with a birthday balloon and a sign announcing my birthday. There was also a cute gift box with the cow mascot, a personalized birthday card, and a ticket for a complimentary face painting for the birthday guest. Ad we settled in, we ordered food (it was not included even for the birthday guest) which was a let down. At least present the birthday guest with a free sandwich or nuggets; the people in their party that they invite will buy food so it is a win-win! As folks started coming in, the cow mascot was walking around and taking photos, the face painter had a steady line of birthday guests getting services ( I got a crown painted in my hand). There was a mini prize wheel that was presented at each of the tables for the birthday guest to spin to get a free prize (I received a limited edition Chick-fil-A tote bag, the only one available!) There was also a crowd happy birthday sing along and every birthday guest was given a birthday sweet treat: a cup of ice cream with chocolate drizzle and a cherry on top! I ordered medium fries and a Cherry Coke float. What I received was warm potato skins and an expensive cup of ice cream with a splash of soda... The young lady that handed my order at the pick up counter was very pleasant. I do not frequent that particular location and it is intentional, however, it was convenient for the day. read more

Been here a few times over the past two years (mostly drive thru's) and they always do a great job. The staff are always friendly and professional - no matter how busy it gets. Service is always great when I visit this place. Stopped here the other day for chicken nugget meal and a sweet tea. I ordered using the mobile app for the first time and it was super easy. I selected curb side pick up. This location is within a shopping center that has a ton of stores and is anchored by a Walmart. My food was delivered to my car moments after I parked. Timing was in line with the app. I swapped out fries for Kale Krunch which was fresh and delicious. Service was awesome and food was hot! Always a fan! read more

Staff was super helpful, from the sweet older ladies refilling drinks and providing condiments to the young staff behind the counter swiftly taking orders accurately. I was very impressed by the speed of service and quality of the food. Yes, Chick-fil-A has a high bar, but even this location exceeded expectations. SHRINKFLATION AT THIS LOCATION Was just recently at this location for my lunch break. Could only afford a chicken sandwich and medium fries because their prices are too high now to justify getting a meal. Not only are their prices outrageous but their quality is out the window. She was so patient, i was not sure what i will order because it was hard to reach directly to menu online! System asks a lot if things before i go to menu and i have to drive! This place used to be great but now I'm not so sure. They serve you your food not fully prepared correctly. Someone is preparing the food if it was for themselves and not for a customer. I'm a regular at this Chick Fil-A since it's near my office. It's a consistently good meal and almost consistent good service. A lot of times I'll get sandwich & fries, but I've gotten their cobb salad, nuggets, & a couple of times their breakfast items at this location. In January 2018, I've been 3 times. First time this year was the first week of January, the cashier was kind of rude; he didn't smile, wasn't friendly, and didn't say my pleasure (which is their policy). This was a stark difference from what I'm used to at this Chick Fil-A and others. Today, I went in again, and I was disappointed to have this cashier again (DeQuann). Again, he was unfriendly. I said thank you a louder tone of voice to make sure he heard me and a couple of employees & manager might've heard. Almost in a forced tone of voice, he said, "My pleasure." Initially, I had decided to take it to go, but decided after the fact to eat it there. I ate my fries, which were tasty as always. I had gotten the nuggets today. While in the middle of eating my fries, I realized that DeQuann never asked if I wanted any dipping sauce for my nuggets. Angry, with my mouth chewing a fry, I swiftly walked up to the hostess lady, who I see there all the time, and is friendly when I have talked to her in the past. I was polite asking for Chick Fil-A sauce while still finishing chewing my fry. The hostess lady came by a minute later cleaning the booth behind me. I asked her, "Is the cashier supposed to ask if you would like sauce with your nuggets?" She said yeah they are supposed to ask. I said DeQuann didn't adding that he was unfriendly and him saying my pleasure was forced. She said she was surprised and that DeQuann is friendly when she's seen him, but admitted that she doesn't pay attention to him that much. She suggested that I fill out a comment card. I didn't want to go that far because I didn't want to get him fired. I remembered a friend back in 2011 wrote on a comment card at a Denny's we were at; granted that server was bad. But my friend felt bad two weeks later when he had found out that he was fired; he said I wouldn't have done the comment card had he known. That was where my head was at today. But I was VERY disappointed that he didn't ask what sauce I would like. If I had taken it to go, I would've realized it at the office and would've been even angrier. I love this location! Everyone is super friendly and there are hardly ever any lines! They tend to ask me how many sauces I want and how much ice I need in my drink. It makes me feel like the employees really care about my experience. I also feel that I'm always getting free stuff with my app. Just last week, I had a free breakfast sandwich. This is my favorite Chick-Fil-A location. The food is addicting, delicious, and always seems fresher than other locations. I feel good about what I'm eating (chicken biscuit) and I know that the fruit I give my daughter is fresh and good for her. The staff are literally the sweetest people you'll ever meet, and when I come in with my now 13 month old, they are always so happy to see her and attentive to my needs as a parent. They always help me with the doors when I come in and leave, and provide me with a clean high chair and Table Topper (disposable placemat that sticks to the table) for her. We live closer to the Chick-Fil-A in Ellicott City, but since I've been dropping my partner off at work at 7am across the street, we usually stop here for breakfast. I'd gladly make the drive to make this our main Chick-Fil-A. When another Chick-Fil-A messed something up and I happened to mention our experience to someone at this location, they were so bothered by it that they apologized on the other's behalf and offered me a free lunch. They've surprised me with paying for my meal several times, and are warm and inviting always. They also have Kids Night every Tuesday from 5-7pm. This location is also always clean and neat, with the tables decorated with real flowers. I couldn't ask for more from a fast food location. You sort of have to look for this store, as it's sort of down in a hole on the parking lot of the Walmart and you can easily miss it if you don't look for it. On a recent visit, I was very surprised to see that my meal was paid for when I got to the window! I asked why and the girl said it was "just good will." Sure enough, my receipt said "$0.00. I was really blown away by this. When's the last time you had this happen at a Burger King? There's a reason that every Chik-Fil-A has lines at the drive-thru every hour it's open. Food was great, but the drive through was a bit of a mess. This is based on my experience with other CFA locations. Typically I expect any CFA to be run like a well-oiled machine. Ug. You never know a good thing til it's gone. As the self-appointed Queen of all things Chick-Fil-A, I know a good one when I see one. I had to come here every day for three weeks because my normal Chick-Fil-A on Baltimore-National Pike was closed for renovations. As you can see from my review on that store, I was originally pretty unhappy with the service. However, the service had done almost a 180. So I was a bit disappointed I would have to go elsewhere for my Iced Tea fix. The first problem (which is truly not the fault of the store and is in no way included in my rating) is that it is a pain in the neck to get there. If you are coming from the outer loop of 695, there is no direct way to this location. You have to take the Sulpher Spring exit from the 95 exit and then turn onto Washington Blvd. It's a direct shot on the inner loop, but just beware of the extra time it will take you on the outer loop. The service is pretty good. The morning people are nicer than the evening folks. The deduction in my rating comes from the speediness of service. The food is never ready when I get there. If you look at their racks, there are never any sandwiches in them. That could be a good thing if you want something hot and fresh. Yet, if you are trying to get to work in the next 20 minutes, you really don't want to have to wait that long. It's like they are back there chasing the chickens to take them to slaughter. I mean gosh, how long should it take to slap a piece of chicken on a biscuit? When my faithful Chick-Fil-A opened back up this past week, I happily went back to them. When I placed my order, they promptly picked up my Chick-n-Minis, put them in a bag, and had me out of there is less than 5 minutes. Now that's service. read more

I loved this location up until today. My work is right near here and my boss and I often get lunch through the app. Today when I arrived, I pulled into a designated curb side parking space (as the app directs you to do). I was screamed at by an older man named Bill to move my car to a space that was closer because he didn't want to walk that far.... I was in a designated curb side spot. I shouldn't have to move because Bill is too lazy to walk 10 feet. I did move my car, and I relayed to Bill that I was already in a designated space and he got extremely hostile. Another employee had to put his hand on Bills chest to keep him from coming any closer to me and tell him to go back inside. Due to this, I asked to speak with a manager. The manager was extremely nice and agreed that I was in a correct parking space and should not have been made to move because of Bills laziness. The icing on the cake was, when I was speaking to the manager Bill walked to the customer who was parked next to me and pointed at my car and called me a profanity. 1.) why are customers now being yelled at for parking in DESIGNATED CURBSIDE pick up spaces? 2.) if you want to have lazy employees such as Bill, that's fine. But make sure your mobile app coincides with that. Instead of instructing customers to pull into a curbside pick up space, just tell them to pull in any space as long as it's super close to the door so Bill doesn't have to walk, because he's too lazy and entitled to do his job. 3.) Why are employees allowed to get so aggressive that they have to be told by another employee to go back inside, and then come back out to berate the customer even further? I could expect this kind of behavior from McDonald's, but not Chick-fil-A. Maybe thats where Bill should work if he gets fired as he should be. read more

When I think of what would make a great Chick-Fil-A, I dream of a new, well kept, clean exterior building and same with the interior. There should be lots of parking and easily accessible to nearby communities. The service needs to be friendly and efficient. My spicy chicken sandwich must be fresh and look just like the pictures. Waffles fries must be hot and fresh. And the manager should walk around and offer to bring us free refills and even clear our trays. Really, you ask? Yes, really. Well I didn't think of the last part until the manager actually did that for our lunch crowd. First and fore most it's Chick-Fil-A that in and of itself = awesome. If you've never had Chick-Fil-A do yourself a favor and get it. For the rest of us who have eaten at a Chick-Fil-A before the good is they are very consistent between restaurants so you usually can't go wrong. The only bad thing about this restaurant is the location. It is a bit small which leads to INSANE lines. That is enough to make me drive past as opposed to stopping at times other than that, #awesometastic!
