The burger and fries were OK. Service was actually really good. Although employees did keep eyeing which I think signaled my order was ready so maybe I was holding them up but the atmosphere was actually great it had music in the background it was just a really great time overall 4.2/5 read more

I am a fan of FIVE GUYS, but this location has left a bad taste. After verifying my order twice with the "order taker". Our order came out wrong. When we try to address the situation, the order taker and another "employee" decided to udder derogatory comments to myself and my party. Restaurant was clean, simple. But had to get general manager involved twice to get orders right. She did apologize and offered gift cards to counteract our dissatisfaction, but the employee manning the fries station continues to utter derogatory remarks. I tried to address it in front of the general manager, but the employee just rolled their eyes with a "Whatever.." stance. It is sad for a company with such good reputation as FIVE GUYS have employees who operate under sub-par standards. I do hope the manager does address the issue and not "brush it under the rug" read more

Laziest workers you'll ever see, placed an order at 3pm, it was a cheeseburger and fries. Received it on the counter at 4:30. Does it really take almost 2 hours to make a f**king cheese burger and fries???? I posted the photo of the first lazy employee. Looked like he needed some help, gotta get his old azz transferred to a senior living center by the way he moves. Bring in a young force for a fast paced and busy restaurant like five guys. No offense to any senior citizens but we don't have much time on our hands. People who aren't lazy got places to be so get faster and better. read more

Five Guys - Lazy employee number 1 out of 4 - Burgers Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

This was one of the worst Five Guys visits I've ever had. The cashier was the best thing about the visit. She was very friendly and made sure to get everything right on our order. She also gave us two complimentary cups because they were short staffed and she knew our wait would be long. With that gesture, I could have forgiven the 20 min wait but from there, the experience went downhill. It was a Saturday evening and they only had 2 people working on the food, one on the grill and one assembling sandwiches. People were getting food they had ordered after us and one guy was waiting 15 mins for a grilled cheese sandwich. On top of that, I don't believe their heater was on because I was shivering waiting for the food. At one point, we debated if we wanted to wait in the car because it would have been warmer than waiting inside. Finally, our food was ready. We were going to eat inside but it was too cold so we ate in the car. We figured if we drove home to eat it, it would have gotten cold but honestly, we would have been better off going home to microwave it. The cheese on both of our burgers were barely melted. Also, when I was more than half way done my burger, I bit into what I thought was paper but it was actually the outer peel of an onion. I kind of spoiled my appetite. I could finish the last few bites. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the cashier was kind and thorough when taking our order. I will not be returning to this location. read more

My burger did not have everything on it that I ordered, zero grilled onions zero grilled mushrooms and zero grilled green peppers. My burgers were being wrapped up and bagged when I walked in, I live approximately 7 minutes away and everything I ordered was cold. Dundalk, MD location. read more

Always busy. Rarely get your food fast for some reason. They don't let you do an order online. BUT they take grub hub and door dash orders. It's five guys still. So if I want it and I'm in the area I'll go. I prefer other locations. read more

I came back to try the blt. They give your above 4 ounce of pure bacon cooked to perfection. Actually precooked by the burger chef. Then add the rest and call it a day. Lots of bacon in this one. I only wish that they heat up the bacon on the grill. Some of the bacon is cold but good effort read more

So much food and an over load of fries. The food was still warm when it got here and tasted great. Good job "guys"

5 guys say they are "hiring" but it is only if you "look" a certain way. A friend of mind went to security blvd location for an interview only to sit & wait and the manager never to speak with her...how low, unprofessional and just wrong! I guess if you not "pretty and slim" you don't have a chance here...SCREW FIVE GUYS! I will never eat at this or any location again! read more

The food is great but the service is absolutely horrible. This establishment has children behind the food line more worried about making jokes than preparing food. So i ordered food from this store through doordash . My food was due to be delivered dat 9:45 pm . A dasher came to pick it up and because the store was busy the dasher left . So my time changed for me to have my food delivered . Once a new dasher got there the resturant told my dasher they was closed and they trasheed my order . It was very unprofessional and my dasher was there before 10 pm . They really need to work on their professional courtesy to customers . I will never order from here again . read more

Usually when I go here I get my meal and leave but today I decided to eat inside. Let me just say the customer service was great. I'm not sure if it's a new staff but everyone that was on the service side was friendly to all customers. Decided to get the hot dog by way of recommendations from the cashier and she was spot on..Loved it with the small fry made a good combo. Too many times we get good service and don't say anything. I had to share my experience today...Keep up the great work. read more

This is a good Five Guys. I say a good Five guys, not, OMG, I just discovered Five Guys! ... because I write as someone who has been basically followed around by this company as it has mushroomed like crazy over the last decade. I lived in Northern Virginia when they were pretty much only there, then they started a location in my hometown in the middle of why-would-you-do-THAT? Upstate NY when I moved to Chicago, only to open one of their first Chicago-area locations a couple blocks from me a couple years ago. Now that I'm living in Baltimore, I had to check out this location... largely because, though I like Five Guys a lot, the Chipotle right next door has had SUCH long lines a couple times that I couldn't survive the wait. Besides, this company has been good wherever I've encountered it over the years. For a Five Guys, this one is a solid. It's not a fantastic outlier with some mystique absent in other branches, but it gets the job done in about the normal amount of time, and the food's good, and it's reasonably clean. For those uninitiated unto the wonder that is Five Guys: Five Guys is famous from their fresh cut fries, of which a medium portion will feed two relatively hungry, glutinous people, because they dump at least as many extra just in the bad as they do into the drink cup they use as the proper fry container. They will always have a note up on a white board to tell you where the potatoes they're using on any given day come from (City, State). They're cooked in peanut oil. The quality of their fries is probably really the best thing about Five Guys. They come in regular and cajun flavored. The cajun flavoring is like Old Bay, but spicier. Second best, they do the sort of burgers you imagine happened when fast food was delivered by the girl next door on roller skates, when people hung out at the neighborhood burger joint, and efficiency wasn't the name of the game - as it has been in the McD's drive-through phase of history we're all more accustomed to these days. I think I remember seeing that they don't freeze the meat. They basically ONLY do burgers - they've sort of added veggie sandwiches and hot dogs - but there isn't a huge menu. They focus on doing one thing well, which seems respectable. Third best, they have big bins of roasted peanuts still in their shells that you can help yourself from while you wait. IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO PEANUTS, DO NOT GO TO FIVE GUYS. Even if you avoid these, the oil on the fries... eeesh, it would be bad. Fourth: they have those touch-screened, crazy super-customizable soda dispensers - a Coke Freestyle. My fiance has managed to use these in ways that make Sprite not taste gross through additions of vanilla and fruit syrups. I was amazed. Worst thing about Five Guys: they only have American cheese, and American cheese is the grossest. If they had cheddar or something, well... Some other neutral but omnipresent characteristics you come to notice and take comfort in: Five Guyses (oh, whatever) all full of white and red tile, with news clippings about how awesome they are and quotes from articles all over the walls. They have malt vinegar for fries, for them that want it. They also provide little slips of note paper and crayons for children (and probably adults) to draw pictures about how much they love Five Guys and put them up on a cork board. This can be amusing. I drew my fluffy orange cat requesting a cheeseburger (though he couldn't spell it properly) once, for instance. This particular location has a mysterious corner about the size of a closet with nothing in it, for no apparent reason. But, yeah. In General: Five Guys is Good. In Specific: this is a pretty good Five Guys. read more

OMG!!! So I stopped eating beef maybe 6 or 7 years ago, but I do allow myself one beef burger a year, typically during the summer and mostly if I found myself at a cookout/bbq and there's no other meat option, and besides you just gotta have a burger off a grill at least once a year, it's like totally the American way! But I digress...with the pandemic I have not been to or have had ZERO cookouts/BBQ's so with that not being an option this year, I chose Five Guy as my burger go-to for summer 2020. I ordered a regular cheese burger with cheese, grilled onions, mayo & ketchup and some of those greasy but oh so delicious fries. MAAAAN!! After the first bite of my sandwich it felt like one of the best decisions that Ive ever made in my entire life! I'm not sure if it was because I only have a burger once a year OR it was just THAT dang good, but I could not put it down, I felt like Patrick from Spongebob when he gets a hold of a crabby patty lol, it was soooo good, the meat was cooked to perfection and the cheese, onions and mayo just all melted and mushed together just right, and they toasted the bun!! On this day 08'14'20, it was not crowded, all of the COVID-19 safety measures were appropriately in place, I was greeted by all of employees upon entry, placed my order without snag, got my order in a decent time and died and went to hamburger heaven shortly thereafter. Great experience at this location and even better food experience. I think I will be back summer of 2021!! read more

I came in to eat lunch today just left the security square location. A very elderly man came in didn't have any money to get food, and you could tell this man has had a hard time. He had maybe 50cent. Hospital bracelet. Looks like unfortunately he had went to the bathroom on himself. He asked the manager if he could get something to eat, with no money. This manager and I'm regretful I didn't get his name, without hesitation advised his lunch was on him today, but this was a one time thing! How awesome is that!! These are the things I love to see. The soda machine is kinda high tech and the gentleman was very confused an employee that was working his shift came from behind the counter and filled his cup up as well!! The owners of this location should be VERY proud of this shift manager and his employees! read more

Before I get started, let me tell you that my favorite food in the world is a cheeseburger. Yes, I know that may be juvenile, but to me nothing is better than a good ol' cheeseburger. Even at the fanciest of restaurants with a variety of amazing entrees, I will most likely end up ordering a burger (if they offer one). With that in mind, when I heard about Five Guys it piqued my curiosity. I kept hearing people rave about the burgers. I knew I HAD to go to this place, so one evening my boyfriend and I ventured out to try these so-called amazing burgers. THEY WERE FREAKING AWESOME! I was in burger heaven! The burgers are made to order (there are a lot of toppings) and the patties are made from fresh ground beef. The default burger is a double, so if that's not your thing make sure you ask for a single. I am a glutton, so I got the double and I enjoyed every last bite. It was messy and cheesy with just the right amount of greasiness. We also shared an order of fries, and they were so delicious! They are hand-cut and made from REAL potatoes. We got a large order because we didn't know how massive an order of large fries was. Unless you can eat a whoooole lot of fries, I would advise you to get the regular size. The thing that struck me most about Five Guys was just how incredibly fresh everything was! It was fresh hand-made food, not some prepackaged frozen nonsense, and believe me you could even feel the difference. Yes, I ate a double-cheese burger and an ungodly amount of fries, but I felt okay afterwards! If I had done that at McDonalds, I would've felt like absolute crap. I definitely recommend Five Guys to everyone! They also have hot dogs and vegetarian options like grilled cheese and a veggie sandwich, so check them out! read more

The food is always great and I never have a problem when doing walk-in ordering, it's quick and easy. But I strongly recommend NOT doing an online order at this location. I made my online order at noon and scheduled to pick it up at 1:45pm, I got there on time and they still needed to "cook the hotdogs" like ??? I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say they might have been understaffed but if I gotta prep this much and have to wait this long, then :( read more

Nice clean place good juicy burgers good music deafly will come back again Love the fried hotdogs with cheese would deafly recommend

Best Burgers Hands Down!! I don't how these burgers taste so different than any other burger, but it's like they're on a whole different level. It's either you want a burger, or you want a Five Guys Burger. I really think its the bun that seems to mold and become part of the burger itself. The bun awesome! Not to mention the way they let you customize your burger makes it that much better. They have a huge list of topping including my favorite, BACON!! I just tell them what I want on it, and my burger is always ready in 5 mins max! Oh, and the fries are also unbelievable! I put vinegar and salt on them, and I don't stop eating till they are totally gone! Love this place! read more

Highly disappointed! Fries were over cooked and greasy... Chewy in the inside. Am I eating fries or beef jerky?! Normally I get the Jr size but today I decided to go hard - literally..... For a restaurant to be known for their burgers and fries they get a capital F today. I reported this bs to the official FB page with a picture... not happy as this was a cheat meal for me since I'm on a fitness diet. The cook had the nerve to load these bitches up too. I planned to go to Columbia Mall`s Five Guys location after my medical appointment in Woodlawn area, when on my way home I was surprised to see one, outside of the building that I went to. I decided to try it instead of driving to the mall. This is the 3rd chain that I have been to . I was here this morning right after they opened at 11 am. The burger has always been good but I don`t know why I like the fries at the Columbia Mall best compared to the other two locations that I went to; Harbor Place (2 times) and this one at Security Blvd. Nevertheless, I will keep on going back to places that serve this kind of burgers and fries. Their burgers have less sodium, I think... read more
