I was able to use the food for two meals. More importantly, though, it was delicious, novel, and fairly healthy - or at least I knew what I was getting - can't say Doritos are all that recommendable in terms of health. But their use of cheese and the vegetables they already have there for subs was much appreciated in its cleverness and nutritious simplicity. This is my go to place after basketball games. I signed up for their deals a couple of months ago and I have been getting some incredible offers from Subway. Since my basketball games are in north Baltimore and it's scheduled for late evenings, I don't have enough time to plan my after game meals. I went in this location on Thursday 10/21, and placed an order for the second time in a week. When I used my American express card to pay as usual, and they indicated that it was declined? I used another card and immediately went to my residence and called American express . I feared that that my card had been compromised and was locked. American Express security indicated that there was nothing wrong with my account. Amex security advised that there was no declined sales on my account from this location. Clearly, they interrupted the transmission to make it appear that it was declined. I believe they didn't want to accept it possibly because of the merchant fees. It would have more appropriate to explain that they no longer accept American express. Instead they quickly asked me if I had another card. In conclusion, I have no reason to shop there any further... and since another person on this site indicated that they are the same owners as the metro centre location, I will not go there either. . . The worst Subway I have ever been to in America I went for a pizza The lady toasted my pizza before even asking me what other toppings I wanted on my pizza then when I told her I was not done she asked me what else did I want? I told her and ask them is that all the cheese I could get on my pizza because she barely put any on to begin with so then she stated that there was Cheese already on the pizza I was like OK but you added more toppings you need to put more cheese on top so I asked if she could put more cheese on top and she literally sprinkled crumbs on top of my pizza and proceeded to put my pizza back in the fucking box and cut it why would you give someone a pizza with cold toppings? This location wins awards for their service and they proudly display them in the store!! As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted with a bright smile and a "welcome to subway"!!! Everyone is friendly and smiles at you. My husband and I are "regulars", so they always ask about one of us if we aren't together! Wrong and Rude. We had a terrible experience at this Subway where we were accused of lying and fabricating a story to get free sandwiches. We will not be returning and they should be ashamed of themselves. Last week we ordered sandwiches on March 21st and this location closed early due to snow. We prepaid our order on online- Order # 9dedda3f-f7 and PayPal-Transaction ID- 7k710974pf443634e. When we arrived at the store on March 21 they were closing and told us they would credit the sandwiches and wrote our information down. We thought- "That's okay, we go there frequently so we knew we would be back." Tonight my husband went in to get the sandwiches and I guess he did not appear honest enough to redeem the sandwiches. My husband showed the gentleman working at the counter the transaction on the Subway APP verifying the store, price, and order we had previously placed. My husband also showed the PayPal transaction where the money was withdrawn. Another worker had been there to witness the March 21st interaction and he verified the story and the information my husband was trying to share. It did not matter, no matter what my husband said the account of events and redeeming the sandwiches wasn't good enough. The gentleman working was rude, condescending and dismissive. It is unfortunate that good patrons that live in the community are treated so poorly. Shame on you Subway. Not wanting to make a scene he did give us the sandwiches, but at what price, they didn't even taste good because they were covered in judgement and hate. People should be careful how they treat others, you never know who is watching. In customer service-- you should always leave a business/consumer transaction feeling better for it or from it-- not wondering if it is the color of your skin, the area you work in, the accent, your gender or your religion that has profiled you. Let me start off by saying that "I DESPISE Subways". I normally avoid them because of past experiences, lack of quality food and their strictly rationed portions of meat. Today I went to this subway because it was convenient and I was desperate for a quick lunch. WOW! Cleanest subway I think I have EVER been to. Also, the staff is extremely friendly and like other reviewers have noted, they greet you "loud and proud" as soon as you walk in. I was thoroughly impressed with the speed and agility of the workers behind the counter. They moved with great effort and efficiency. At one point in time I almost thought I was at a hibachi Japanese steak house as the assembly line of sandwich makers added a touch of "Flair" to their work. Most Impressed. The sandwich itself wasn't anything spectacular only because, well, its Subway franchise food. There's not much that they can improve on other than breaking away from the franchise and starting their own deli (HINT HINT). If these guys opened up a traditional Italian deli the line would be out the door and around the corner.
