stopped by slims this weekend for some lunch with the family. I placed the order online so it was ready to eat when we got there (parents, iykyk). I would recommend creating an account bc their rewards seem generous. I got $5 off my order just for making an account. the place was really clean and food was ready to go when we got there. here's what we tried - spicy grilled tenders, holy s*** they're actually realllllllllly spicy. needed ranch for them, luckily the ranch here hits. - regular tenders were great. we tried them in a bunch of sauces. our favs were the honey mustard, garlic parm (weird texture but good flavor), mango habenro, and ranch. i didnt care too much for their signature sauce and much prefer canes. - texas toast seemed a little overdone and kind of just not worth it. my 4yo ate it up tho. - fries were standard and not really memorable either way. - potato salad was good! I'd been looking forward to this location opening for a while, so when it popped up on Yelp while I was searching for something to eat, I was excited to check it out. I've been to the Gambrills location before and really enjoy their tenders, so having one closer to me was a big plus. When I walked in, I stood in line but wasn't greeted, and the cashier didn't say anything , just waited for me to order. I ended up getting the 3 tenders combo with fries, fried pickles, Slim Sauce, and Parmesan garlic sauce. The tenders and fries were really good, just like I remembered. The fried pickles were decent but a bit too salty for my taste. Between the sauces, I definitely preferred the Slim Sauce over the Parmesan garlic. Overall, this location might just need a little more time to find its rhythm and match the vibe of the Gambrills spot. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. read more

We ordered Tenders & Fries but they also serve bone in wings , nuggets along with sides of Mac & Cheese , Fried Pickles , Potato salad and a couple more . I ordered my meal through the phone app. Very easy!! I arrived to pick up within 10 minutes and my meal was ready. I walked up to the cashier and gave my name. She came back with the bag. I did check it and needed to remind her of the dessert I ordered. But I understand they didn't want to mix the hot stuff with the cold. She was very helpful and nice. The place was packed due to it just opening and I was pleasantly surprised my order was ready. The place was bright and clean I ordered the chicken strips, side salad, Mac and cheese side, and fried pickles. The chicken was tasty and moist. The slim chicken sauce was similar to thousand island. The side salad was fresh but only was lettuce tomato's, croutons and cheese. My favorite was the Mac and cheese. Cheesy an yummy. I didn't like the fried pickles. Too salty for my taste. But they were made well. Dessert I had the banana jar pudding which was delish. Next time I want to try the wings read more

Look out Chick-fil-a....there's a new chicken place in town!! The inside was spotless, maybe because it's new and there were also tables outside. I had the tender Mac & cheese bowl which was so good...creamy Mac & cheese & crispy chicken tenders. For dessert you have to try the dessert jars...the nilla wafer banana pudding is delicious & so was the chocolate brownie pudding!! The staff were very nice and super helpful! The only negative I have to say is the Texas toast you get with the meal is just like a regular piece of toast not thick & fluffy like normal Texas toast! Overall a great place for a quick meal and the prices were reasonable as well. read more

Well, guess who will be busy on Sundays when people can't get their chicken at that other chicken place down the street? Slim Chickens! The drive thru was crazy busy on a Sunday at 1:45 PM. Valerie took my order via tablet and was delightful. She welcomed me for my very first visit to any Slim Chickens. The Chick's Meal with Texas Toast, Fries and chicken nuggets was delicious. For starters, this was my first time trying out this place, it will be my last!!!! Their drive thru is constructed terribly and tore up my new SUV as I was driving around to pickup my food. Listen, whoever designed this MVA obstacle course BS aught to be shot. Who builds a drive thru with a 20" curb right after you leave the drive up menu???? Apparently, I'm not the only person who's hit that a time or two and I'm sober!!!! Any who their chicken and waffle meal was complete trash. SOFT WAFFLE, small tenders (3) , runny syrup and warm butter...Wtf???? Not to mention workers who didn't know anything about the product that they sell to customers. One guy didn't even know how many establishments are in Maryland that's sad. BTW...there are five and he said one he thinks Overall the food sucked and the drink was weak as water and it was supposed to be sweet tea. I won't be back here ever. At least not to this one. The grand opening was yesterday and I missed it. However, today was day two. When we stepped in the restaurant we were immediately greeted by different employees. A good amount of tables already had diners seated at them. The line was not too long. They also have a kiosk for self check-out but, you must be paying by card. We placed our order and were given drink cups and a number to place on our table so they would know which table to bring the food to. The cashier was very friendly. I forgot to take photos of our drinks. Both meals came with a drink. The had coke products and tea. I chose tea which was not as sweet as I thought it would be but, that was good for me. I chose chicken and waffles and my son chose the tender bites meal. Both meals came out quickly considering the customers coming in were pretty consistent. Our food was nice and hot. We both enjoyed our meal and would definitely return again. read more

Great new chicken place! I tried the crispy chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Love the 'slim sauce' and all the pickles; next time will definitely try it 'spicy' The fries have a little Cajun flair to them and were fresh and hot. Better than most 'fast food' places I've been. Their desserts look amazing, so will need to go back to try the 'Mason jars!' I'll definitely be back. Good to get 'fast' food and not have it taste like it..... read more

First time eating here.Ordered a crispy chicken salad with honey mustard dressing and Korean BBQ dressing. The salad came out and the chicken pieces were luke warm,not hot,had to send the salad back. Second time was better.Chicken tenders were stringy,seems like they are processed in some way,not great tasting. Carrots are pre cut-julienned,no taste. Went here for the first time tonight and can say that the food is delicious the service is from the order takers to the manager was very service oriented and about the customer and their needs. Ambiance was clean although in my opinion the floors were sticky but other than that I'd come back to dine in again. read more
