    Receipt from wing stop
    Christena M.

today is my first ever experience ordering from wing stop went to the cockeysville location as I was out that way, I live in Parkville. My family raves about their wings and ranch dressing it smelled delightful the whole way home I get home only to learn they did not include the Ranch they are known for or Blue cheese with my order. I called to tell them about it the girl with a care less attitude says I'm sorry you can come back and get it NOPE I ask for the manager received an apology again you can come back and get it NOPE I am not driving 15-20 minutes to do so. The manager tells me I can go to the wing stop on Harford Road. NO you can get my order right next time and take some pride in your job!! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! one star it too much we are eating dry ass wings for dinner people!!!! a one star rating rating is too much here. I spent $42 dollars to support your business!!!!

    Sandwich missing top bun...
    Narisa J.

Waited about an additional 15 mins on top of the 20 min ETA and food was lukewarm at best. Only 2 other customers were waiting for food at the time. One of the two sandwiches ordered was missing the top bun as well as they forgot to add pickles. The top bun received was grilled but cold, and in my opinion the sandwich was a bit bland and dry. It could have used extra sauce on the bread. I assume they may have run out of tenders because we received one tender plus some boneless wings in the tenders box. The wing flavors were good other than the hot having 0 spice. The garlic parmesan tender was lacking in garlic flavor, but was salty and crispy. I ordered well-done, cajun seasoned fries, but the fries had very little texture. They tasted old and sweet. The fries tasted like they forgot salt and added a sprinkle of sugar to them... Would only return for the mild or BBQ boneless wings.

Also, their Lemonade/Half&Half/Flavorade drink was exceptional, primarily because Mark brewed his own sugar syrup. She's right. I can't speak to the other items on the menu because I'm smitten by the Pit Beef. I live just inside the beltway. We usually call in the order, get in the car and by the time we get there, the food is ready. You can eat at the picnic table out front, or in your car. Sometimes we wait until we get back home. You've probably blown by Church Road a thousand times. Go west, one block. Charcoal Deli is on the right. And there's a hispanic grocery store right there in case you need to pick up a few things. Here's a picture all dressed up for Summer with the awnings and umbrellas.

I got a pit turkey for lunch the next day! Same concept, very great tasting turkey, but a little too much roll. The Pit chicken my wife had gotten had a delicious taste to it. The fries come a plenty! A little salty, but fresh cut! The location was convenient right off the main drag near Cockeysville. Service was great! They messed up the order, but we're quick to fix everything and gave a little extra fries for the mishap! The location itself was unique. Baseball cards were plexy glassed into the counter. We went at night time, unsure if there was seating or not. We got ours to go. Quick little to go counter worked well.

Thankfully, we didn't have a long wait at all (for 2 people). Selections: 1) Large lemonades - Generous size and nice flavor. My buddy had a flavored lemonade and mentioned it didn't have much of the other flavor. Otherwise, they were decent lemonades. 2) As a native NYer, I love a messy burger. These were not that. They were neatly layered and the condiments used, yielded minimal flavor. These burgers required some doctoring up. 2a) The Bean: Vegetarian chipotle black bean burger w/ cheese & bacon w/ blue cheese, pickles, red onions, caramelized onions, jalapeños, mayonnaise, BBQ sauce. One would think with everything listed here, this would be one juicy veggie burger PACKED w/ flavor. Nope. Not the case. It wasn't a bad burger but it needed a lil more attention. The patty itself was ... DRYYYY *cough cough*. Don't need another black bean burger here. 2b) The Chicken: Crispy (or grilled) w/ cheese, lettuce & tomato. The bestie enjoyed his sandwich. It was a decent size and he enjoyed the flavor profile so... SCORE!!! We also split an other of the Large Tater Tots. It was a generous sizing and did what they needed to do. Nothing bad. Nothing great. Just flavorless tater tots - crispy outside, pillow like inside. They weren't even dusted w/ salt but... I digress. Overall, I can say I've been. For the price paid, I can't say if I'd return. Maybe other locations season/ flavor their dishes a little more. I dunno...

I was recently feeling like a late night burger, typically when most burger spots are closing up. With their late hours and short drive, BB made sense. The place itself is simple and no-frills, just like the menu items. My dining friend had a burger and I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich with a large order of tots to share. The sandwiches were okay- not great not awful. Both required some doctoring up to elevate them lol. The tots, however, were the star of the show- crispy with good flavor. Summed up, you can't go wrong for a decent late night meal at a reasonable price.

But this past Sunday around lunchtime, I was accosted by the cashier girl and the man-child that was putting the order together. While she asked me for my order, she and her friend stood side by side laughing in my face the entire time. I know they are young, but they need to grow up and accept that there are people different from themselves. The cook, thankfully, was the only adult-acting person in the room. I finished ordering and paying for my food amidst snickers. But this is on me. I believe that you teach people how to treat you. What I should have done was ask loudly if there was a problem so that, who I believed was the manager who was in earshot, could have heard and noticed what was going on. If they had a reasonable explanation and I had mistaken them for imbeciles, I would go on and place my order. However, if they had doubled down on their stupidity, I would have thanked them for showing their true selves and walked out. Management, I think you should attend to these two. I finally found myself on that side of town & my heart sank bc a fellow Yelper whose reviews I trust had just an ok Chicken Paul experience. Maybe that was just an off day at the office bc my experience was outstanding. I got a chicken box with Western fries, nothing more, nothing less ... and truthfully, nothing else was needed. My chicken was cooked to perfection, nice & crispy, and flavorful. There's this underlying DC/Bmore food beef & although I am DC born, and practically raised, ever since I've moved to Odenton, and have frequented more food places on the Baltimore side of things, it's no comparison. That applies here too with the fried chicken. This chicken beats any carry out in DC all day every day. As far as the Western Fries(Bmore)/Wedges(DC) go? DC all day. Chicken Paul's wedges were serviceable but not special. I've had special wedges too many times to give them a pass. Still good tho. Lastly, being a smart Alec I requested Mumbo sauce, which is totally a DC thing, just bc I was so sure they wouldn't have it. Boy was I wrong and it cost me .50 cents. Atleast, they called it mumbo sauce. Because nothing about it was that sweet and tangy sauce that I grew up on. So, if we're tallying everything up, that makes it 2/1 DC but the winner is Baltimore because the chicken here is so friggin delicious they win anyway.
