If you want a good, easy family friendly restaurant to take the family, Texas Roadhouse is one of my son's favorite. He loves their rolls, they're really good. Prices are great too, There's plenty of parking, which makes it easy. Just know if you go with a group, everyone has to be there before they'll seat you. Food is always good, service is good and the restaurant is clean. They still have peanuts but you have to ask now and they come in a sealed bag. This is not fine dining. It was my 1st time dining here and I had a surprisingly great experience. I was told that the rolls were really good, and they didn't disappoint. They came with honey butterwhich was very tasty. They also brought a bag of peanuts for me to enjoy while I waited. I ordered the Twisted Mozzarella as an appetizer, which were traditional yummy mozzarella cheese sticks in a twisted shape and included marinara sauce. While I was waiting for my entree, the Manager came over and personally welcomed me for my 1st time visiting their restaurant. They brought me a sample dish of 4 sides that included loaded mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms and onions, and corn. My favorite out of the samples was the loaded mashed potatoes. They also brought over some more peanuts, fun stickers and coupons for future visits. I thought this was a thoughtful gesture and appreciated this detail. For my entree, I got the Road Kill which was Steakwith smoothered sautéed mushrooms and cheese on top. I choose the loaded Sweet Potato and Macaroni & Cheese as my side dishes. I was expecting the steak to be a bit bigger, however the loaded Sweet Potato was delicious and was stuffed with marshmallows, butter and caramel. I would not recommend the Macaroni & Cheese, it seemed like it had a piece of sandwich cheese laid on top. Overall, this was a lovely experience and I do plan to return. Waitress was barely present during my time there and when asked for refills she did not collect the empty cups. Never took empty plates at the table saw our table was cluttered. When service was over and we got to go boxes she did not offer any to go bags to pair with it. And we had to walk out with boxes in hand. Now on to the food the greens beans were drowning in water with incredibly. The cheeseburger I ordered the bread was overly toasted and burnt to a crisp and incredibly tough to eat. First off I must say this was the second time going here and I didn't want to after I had a piece of metal in my salad but my husband insisted. I thought I would play it safe and only order the chicken tenders and a potato, I informed the server of my seafood allergy; however the chicken tenders were fried with seafood and needless to say I had a really bad reaction, someone from the restaurant, maybe the manager did quickly give me Benadryl, but this was a rookie mistake by me because I didn't have my EPI with me. Stopped by after church on a Sunday for lunch. I was greeted as I walked in but then told I couldn't be seated until my other party arrived. I was little annoyed by that because it wasn't even busy and they have never done that before. At any rate my friend arrived and we were seated. Our server was Kemi and she was on point. She gave us time to look at the menu, took our order and then confirmed before leaving. We didn't have to ask for drink refills because she was on top of it and she checked in periodically to make sure we were good. Her hospitality really elevated the dining experience. During this visit I order a steak medium well, with corn and mash potatoes only sour cream and butter. Kemi asked for me to cut in to steak to make sure it was cooked to my liking and it was. I'm generally not a fan of chains like these. When you're traveling, you sometimes have the throw yelp away and grab a meal where you can. We literally pulled off the freeway and said we'd eat whatever we find. We did have 30 minutes for a sit down place and TR looked hopping. So much so we had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Five Stars! I had a fantastic solo dinner at the Texas Roadhouse in Hunt Valley! I was seated right away in the bar section, which had plenty of TVs--I watched some baseball while I waited. The booth was super comfortable, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the game. Emily, my server, was amazing--so friendly and attentive. She really made me feel welcome. My food came out hot and absolutely delicious. I had a cheeseburger and fries, and it honestly reminded me of the burgers my late father used to grill--such a warm and nostalgic meal. The prices were very reasonable, and to top it all off, the supervisor stopped by to introduce herself and gave me a little welcome packet with their signature peanuts and some coupons. Pretty disappointing. I was here on yesterday to meet my son for lunch, my grandson and I. I didn't care for the fact that 2 out of 3 of us were here but, we couldn't be seated until the third arrived. He arrived about 5 minutes after us. It was not crowded at all to be a Friday afternoon. For some reason I just was not feeling too welcomed. We were seated. The 2 adult in my party received water. However, the child didn't receive water. I just ordered a cup of chili. My grandson ordered the medium welll 6 ounce steak with shrimp, French fries and a side salad. My son ordered the medium well but, more well done 8 ounce steak with onions with mashed potatoes and gravy with a side salad. Neither of the boys were feeling the salad at all so they didn't finish the salads My grandson said the steak was just ok. However, my grandson steak was cooked more than my son steak which was not requested. My son tried to eat his steak but, the blood was still coming out of it. I made the server aware. She politely took the steak back to be cooked some more. That did not work either. The steak came back overcooked. At that point my son had no desire to eat steak at all. My chili was just ok. Oh i forgot to add that when the steak came back overcooked they had the nerve to put a mound of onions on the side. This was a very disappointing visit. We didn't want to cause a scene so I just paid the bill and we left. Nothing about this visit gave us the desire to return. If could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. We got seated within 10 minutes of arriving, and everything started off great. The place was half full of people. After ordering our food, 30 minutes later we asked where our salads were, the waitress said she will check on them and then brought them back within a few minutes. Our food came out 25 minutes later. My husband ordered a medium, but it was still completely raw inside, so he sent it back. I ordered mine well done, and it was more medium cooked, so i sent mine back as well. My MIL ordered the country fried chicken, and she said it tasted like it was freezer burnt. She told the waitress and she asked if she wanted something else, but she said no just take it off of the bill. 30 mins later, we had no refills, and our steaks finally came out, completely over cooked. I took one bite and chewed it for 5 minutes before I could even swallow it and my husbands was well done, which he did not like either. Additionally, our sides were cold and were not remade with the steak. The manager came over and my MIL told her about the chicken and she said "oh, it must just be you." with no apology and was confrontational from the beginning. My husband explained to her that he did not appreciate the way she said that and would expect an apology. The manager replied with "Why don't i just leave so you can enjoy your food." At that point, i had no appetite and did not even attempt to eat my meal. The staff acted very intimidating and confrontational because we didn't like the food and they did not offer any apology. 1 Star - Very Disappointing Experience at Texas Roadhouse Hunt Valley This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had at Texas Roadhouse. It started when they were out of Blue Moon draft beer -- not a big issue, but things went downhill from there. My pork chop meal was fine, but my wife's 6oz steak came out with a hair on the plate. The manager (Dave, I believe) apologized and offered to have it remade, which we appreciated. After waiting quite a while, the second steak came out overcooked and completely cold. The manager simply dropped it off and walked away without even checking if it was okay. When we mentioned it again, another manager named Kiersten came over. Unfortunately, she was very unprofessional -- showed no concern, didn't apologize sincerely, and just said she'd remove the meal from the bill. While we appreciated that, we felt there should've been some gesture of goodwill considering what happened. When I politely brought this up, she refused and walked away. As we were leaving, she and the host were laughing at the front desk, and Kiersten said "See you later, bye" in a disrespectful tone. It felt mocking and rude. We've always liked Texas Roadhouse, but this visit left us disappointed and disrespected. I hope management takes this seriously -- no customer deserves to be treated that way. read more

I have loved Texas Roadhouse since I used to frequent their Denver location over 25 years ago. Who can resist a basket full of hot rolls with honey butter? Not me! I don't eat a lot of red meat, but I ordered a 6 oz sirloin this time and asked for it to be well done, no pink. I ordered green beans and a loaded baked potato as the sides. The server informed me there were no potatoes. I think the whole restaurant turned to see me yell, "What?" I explained that I only came to dinner here tonight because I had a hankering for the loaded baked potato. Sadly, I had to settle for fries. While waiting for my entree, the server returned and whispered that the manager said there were "a few" potatoes left. I DID get my craved loaded baked potato after all, and it was yummers. Unfortunately, the steak was NOT well done and it WAS pink (and bleeding). I couldn't eat it, but I took it home and after heating it through it made for a tasty snack for someone else in my household. The rolls were out of this world, as usual. The employee stated I had to pay with my credit card OUTSIDE. I asked her why that was? And what difference does it make if I pay inside OR outside ? She said if I pay inside she can get fired. I told her that was ridiculous and if I could speak to the manager. I explained to the manager what the employee said plus it was cold outside and what difference did it make if I paid outside OR inside? She stated they have a case now with the Police. And also said this is Sunday and Sundays should be fun days. The Manager did accept my credit card INSIDE the restaurant. This entire transaction was ridiculous! A solid chain where it definitely feels nostalgic. I haven't been to a Texas Roadhouse in about 10 years but my friend had a craving so we made the trek to the suburbs. It was super busy for a Monday night - I guess it was a holiday weekend. It was loud with country music blaring and the waitress sat us down with their famed rolls. It's a solid choice - the bread is as good as you remember and the portions are huge. It's a chain and not something I would frequent for another 5-10 years but if you're craving a casual steak - this isn't a bad spot especially on a Monday when not a lot of restaurants are open. read more

Hello! I am not a big fan of Texas Roadhouse white marsh. However, I do really like the Hunt Valley location. They were kind and accommodating; they made sure we all sat in the same area ( 17 ppl), and our server was great ( attentive, fast, kind)! I used the app to check in at 6:18 pm and was given a seating time of 7:22pm with a wait time quote of 1 hr 5 min to 1 hr and 15 min. When I arrived at 7:15pm, I was told it would be another 20 minutes wait. I asked to find out how much longer, when it was 44 minutes after the time I was told. At 8:07pm, almost 2 HOURS! after joining the waitlist, my table finally got called and that was AFTER I spoke with the front desk, assistant manager (who was rude high school girl) and the manager, who couldn't do anything but say "they dropped the ball". This problem needs to be escalated up to the regional manager as NOTHING was done to fix the problem, I was treated rudely by staff and left before being seated. If the wait is going to be 2 hours then say that instead of telling lies to people that it will be a hr to hr and 20 minutes over the phone. Don't waste people's time! read more

We had a lovely meal. Food was good . Then my husband gave them the coupon for a free meal that they were giving all VETERANS for veterans Day November 11. Do you know the manager came out nasty as can be saying this is not our coupon. First of all when we picked up the coupon on November 11. She was standing outside at a table Handing out these coupons. I never looked at it and put it in my pocketbook. Then the following weekend we planned to use it. She said it was no good and it was Xeroxed? Guess what she gave us the Xerox copy. This is the EXACT COUPON she handed ME. When we went to redeem it, she said it wasn't legit. She's the one that probably forgot to sign off on it or why the hell did you give out Xeroxed copies of the coupon? You probably ran out of the original one.? Anyway she embarrassed both of us and we had another legitimate coupon. She was screaming loud and everybody around our table heard her big mouth. Then she told our waitress Keirston and her staff not to wait on us anymore. She even had Keirston watch me while I went to the bathroom. Then my husband asked for a towel because when they were trying to clean the table, they spilled water on his pants. She refused to give him any towels and told none of the waiters to wait on us. Pretty bad experience. We had a male server with glasses (I believe with red hair). I would've asked his name but then it would've taken longer to get than when we simply asked for some A1 sauce. We had to ask for our rolls and those even took a while as we didn't receive them until we got our salads. It didn't help that the food was cooked not the best compared to most locations we've visited. Medium well came almost rare and medium came well done. Could definitely improve in several areas. We ordered take out on Father's Day from the Hunt Valley location, as we have the past several years. Unfortunately this time was very disappointing. The steak we ordered medium rare came fully done, very charred and chewy. I called the restaurant to let them know and was told they were too busy to talk and would call me back the next day. It has been 4 days and I have yet to receive a call. I had a very unhappy Father that Father's day, and sadly we will have to discontinue our Father's day Texas Roadhouse dining tradition. Texas Roadhouse is the place I go to for a quick bite. This location was easily accessible and the people were quite friendly. Our wait time was under 10 minutes. I love the option to choose your steak and I absolutely love love the warm biscuits. Our waitress was very attentive, the food was brought out quickly and we even had Betsey stop at our table to chat(she noticed our Eagles Jersey and she's from PA as well). My only issue was that I asked for a well done steak(I know I'm destroy it ) but it came out pink. I wasn't sending it back I just took it home to recook. The steak was sooooo juicy and tasty that I didn't have to use any steak sauce on it. The fried pickles were good. I'm such a sucker for fried pickles that it's a must thing for me to have. So this place is thee best! They don't really have a happy hour for drinks but they have a happy hour for food. For example, there is a menu that has 11 items that are all under 10$ and let me just say it's not the cheap stuff. Food so I had the grilled porch chop. It's succulent, cook just right, and flavorful. Is nothing like the taste of grilled food. On a scale of 1-10 the grilled pork chop is a 9. Unpairs mine with a loaded bake potato and freshly steam veggies(broccoli and carrots) Drinks: so I have had the sangria, Jamaican cowboy, and strawberry margarita. I advise you to try the patron gold shot with your margaritas. The frozen drinks are awesome. Ok me thing about their drinks is that they are all top shelf. So no corny named -headache creating alcohol in your drink. Bread: the bread is like Bette me than red lobsters cheddar bay biscuits... by far... pair with the honey cinnamon butter-to die for!!! Let me add that the employees are all pleasant and the managers are always around if there are any questions. So between 4-6pm I'm eating a huge meal and drink for under 21$... this is a superb deal. In my neck of the woods there's a little village called "Texas", a place where immigrant Irish settled, built community, a church, worked in the local limestone and marble quarries and returned home after work or a trip the taverns serving as bookends along Church Lane. One, the "Star Hotel", on York Rd, was a real roadhouse for those trekking north to PA or to Baltimore if train travel wasn't an option. The Star Hotel was allegedly a roadhouse of ill repute serving some of these dusty travelers. Our Texas Roadhouse has been around for a few years and last night was my first visit to a Texas Roadhouse in about 15 years in Dallas while on a business trip. This place is a huge draw. We arrived around 6pm and were seated immediately in a booth by the bar. Trish was our server. After placing our beverage order my wife and I perused the menu. We had the option of picking our steaks from a display case at the front of the house but decided to peruse the menu, which was impressive. Even more impressive? The prices. I cannot buy a ribeye at a grocery store at a price per pound cheaper than the Fort Worth Ribeye at this joint. My bride and I settled on the 12 and 16 oz cuts of the Fort Worth ribeye as our entree. Most fancy steakhouses will offer sides a la carte; TRH includes two "made from scratch" sides with the meal. Honestly, the pitch sounded scripted but it was effective. And Trish was very effective. My bride ordered the broccoli and a (massive) sweet potato. I decided on the Caesar salad and green beans both topped with real bacon bits. Most ribeye cuts are thick; I'm thinking Ft Worth ribeyes are proprietary to the house. They're thinner and take up lots of center plate space. Even more impressive were our respective drenching of sautéed mushrooms and onions on what were two pretty amazing steaks. Yum. And I forgot to mention the hot rolls and our starter of rattlesnake bites. I won't fill you in; you'll need to go and find out yourself. We passed on coffee and dessert and requested the check. With some extras like bacon bits, sautéed items and an adult beverage, we were, before tip, just north of $75. With a well deserved tip in these challenging times, our tab was $106. There was a line out the door at 7:15 of professionals and families looking for a great meal at a fair price. I'm sure they got their wish. read more

We stopped going to the two TR locations by our house a year or two ago. Simply put, both places leave a lot to be desired in terms of the consistency of the food from visit to visit. I mean that is supposed to be the backbone of the chain dining experience. Right? Enter this TR that while not exactly what we were looking for, was beyond convenient to the hotel so what the hell. Pork Chops - Grilled BBQ Chicken - Grilled Lemon Chicken All of the entrees were done as advertised. Some of the ordered sides were a little off as the fries were super salty and barely warm, baked potato was encased in salt and the sweet potato had to get sent back as it came out with the wrong toppings on it. Also notable was that the chili was fairly bland. You go to some TR locations and the chili is spicy enough to bring tears and at other places its glorified tomato soup. This version was closer to soup. The service was solid as we got seated immediately and bread/drink refills were timely. Overall this TR is certainly not five stars but then again none of them are. I mean you do get what you pay for. If you want pin point attention to detail you fork for Morton's. If you want solid utilitarian that gets the job done, you head here. read more
