So I received an email the other morning requesting a notarized document asap except I didn't get off work till 4pm then still had to print the page and grab my son and get back out to a notary. Called around and the Post Maxx off horizon ridge and arroyo grande had a notary there all day until close at 6pm, which was a godsend!! The lady there was soooo nice and friendly, I will never go anywhere else again. When we walked in she was sitting down and helping a customer put together something for her classroom wall and I could hear her showing the woman and helping her in ways that went above and beyond. I was there to take my 3Y old daughter get passport photo. They are super patient with my daughter and it took them half an hour to get a nice one (my daughter either keeps moving or eyes not focusing...) I had bad experience with other photo places and even got refused because they didn't want to deal with kid passport photo. Pros: Good prices, friendly staff, family owned and operated. Cons: Took a little while to print the label, but they were able to fix the machine. 15 minutes total. I will update this next time I go. I live nearby and my family lives in Maine. This place was across from the US post office so I went in to check it out. New location and it's a family operated business. Pretty friendly and helpful to get my Christmas presents shipped at a reasonable price. I think it was less cost than shipping it at the post office, too.
