If you feel brave enough you can even buy stamps and mail a package with an interactive kiosk. Can you image mail being delivered on horseback, much has changed since the beginning of the early years and days of the post office. The inception of the postal system was established in Philadelphia on July 26, 1775. The beginning of the American Revolution appointed Benjamin Franklin as the first postmaster general. Over the years the post office was declared and made its own entity still funded by the federal government, but it granted its employees retirement benefits after so many years of service. To ensure your package makes it to where it's going the post office types in your packages address to ensure accurate shipping delivery and avoiding delays. This is on your bigger packages although. He's always so nice, quick to scan all my Amazon returns as sometimes I do show up with several packages. We usually have small chit chat. There's another familiar face that I see a lot of but I don't know her name. She's a younger, blonde female & I think she's the manager. I do see lots of new familiar faces at other times. Not sure if they float over from other locations but I always prefer to deal with Chris. There have been times I've dropped off letters to go out in the mail but they take a little longer than the post office as this isn't their main service. I like the location of this UPS being that it's right next door to Smith's that I will run into often after dropping off my Amazon returns. This store is well run by nice ladies who really take the time to do things right. It's very clean…read moreinside and easy parking outside in a well maintained shopping center. I stopped by for a scheduled appointment through FieldPrint for fingerprints. The machine is digital and they use a clear liquid on the fingers to help make the prints more noticeable. It took a couple of tries to get my prints dark enough, but they eventually took and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, including verifying my identity and completing the digital signature. Great experience and highly recommended this store!
