Atmosphere was enticing, however the service was subpar. We asked prior to ordering if certain dishes had nuts or sesame seeds due to allergies and was told that the smoked salmon snack did not include any of those. When it came out, the lavash bread was covered in sesame seeds. We eventually told our server when she became available and looked in our direction about it and she did comp the order which was the least they could do. As the person in our party who ordered it is deathly allergic... The meatballs and goat cheese stole the show with the wine pairing. But if you are looking for only wine and to feel hungry after a meal, this is the spot. As the bruschetta board was mainly thick bread with questionable paired toppings that did not compliment any wine. Underwhelming and Overpriced experience that is not worth visiting. read more

Postino knocked it out of the park again! They have a ton of great patio seating and the inside decor is fantastic. Of course the food is still amazing, and a must try if you haven't already. I highly recommend getting a bruschetta board and splitting some wine. Bruschettas: SWEET N' SPICY PEPPER JAM & GOAT CHEESE - My personal favorite! So simple, but fantastic flavors. BURRATA, BACON, ARUGULA & TOMATO - Similar to a classic bruschetta, but so much better! PROSCIUTTO DI PARMA, FIG & MASCARPONE - I love the fig flavors! The prosciutto and mascarpone were fantastic too. SALAMI & PESTO - Salami was delicious and pesto was a perfect partner to it. THE CARPACCIO - SO DELICIOUS! I just wish I had more bread to scarf it up with. SWEET POTATO WEDGES - The chili sauce was perfect with it. THe wedges were think and tasty. PROSCIUTTO WITH BRIE - Such delicious flavors! The prosciutto and brie shined! The sandwich as a whole is a winner and a must try! read more

We haven't been down Colorado Boulevard since they started building the complex. Glad to see it booming yesterday. It was a great, sunny spring day. Postino is following covid measure and has lots of outdoor seating. I also noticed the wait staff sanitizer their hands every time they came out of the kitchen. This place is known for their bruschetta boards, but they also have other great food. We liked their chicken and beef skewers and the pub board. Our favorite bruschetta were sweet n spicy pepper jelly with goat cheese, smoked salmon and pesto, and prosciutto, figs, and marscapone. They only thing we didn't like was how loud the music was. We could barely hear the waitress with the loud music and the mask. We will definitely be back. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. We had a big party of 18 on Saturday night. We were denied service from another restaurant nearby. It was about 915am. We called and they said come on over. We got there and were seated promptly and with care. We had 10 13-14year old teens that were celebrating their last jr high play. The service was phenomenal food was delicious and they even did free desserts for the kids to help celebrate their last play!! What an amazing experience to end a great night!! Thank you Postino!!! We will all be back. read more

Love, Love, LOVE! I am obsessed with this place. I'm not one to give 5 star reviews to places unless they truly deserve it. For a chain this place has an amazing ambiance. The lighting and music create a hip, energetic and somehow relaxing vibe. I love all of the quirky interior design choices like the lighting and wall of sunglasses. As for the food, even better. We had the bruschetta and it had such flavor without being over powering. I will definitely be coming back when I turn 21. read more

We went here for happy hour, $5 for wines. Shared a board of bruchetta and overall had a really great time. Parking can be a little bit tricky but i'm sure you can find one eventually in the surrounding neighborhood. Our favorite was the fig, apple brie bruchetta and the sweet and spicy jam with goat cheat bruchetta. Their white wine selections are pretty wide and all the ones we tried are refreshing and delicious. My only complaint is all of them were not as cold as i'd expected. Regardless, our experience was really great and will be coming back for more! read more

Postino 9CO - White wine Bruschetta Platter (serves 4-6) (apple fig brie, smoked salmon, sweet and spicy jam, tomato basil) - Wine Bars Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Good place for an adult friends date. Drinks are pricey after happy hour so beware of the lady coming around with pours. We ordered the crispy cauliflower, bruschetta, skewers, and the meatballs. The portions are a pretty good size and everything is meant to be shared. The cauliflower was amazing! Their romesco sauce is one of the best I've tasted. Bruschetta was good, great chew to the bread and very filling. I was not a huge fan of the skewers. The chicken tasted very fishy and didn't have a lot of flavors. The meatballs were good, but I was pretty full by the time they came, I only had one. Total bill came to about $80 for two wines and 4 app. Overall the food was pretty quality. It's a nice upscale place to hang out and chat with friends. Taking a star off because of the gnat situation outside. If you don't mind bugs, the patio is a nice place, but they're definitely attracted to the wine and food. read more

Postino 9CO - Excellent food and service - Wine Bars Near Me - Denver, Colorado

I've been here several times now, and it's always good. And it's always busy! They don't do reservations for parties smaller than 6, but you can call ahead and get on the wait list and they'll text you when your table is ready. It's a wine bar with very good food, so make sure you come hungry. The customizable crostini boards are my favorite, since there are always several good ones to choose from, but you can't go wrong with the panini either. The wine list might benefit from more frequent changes, as I feel like it's pretty much the same list each time, but that said there are lots of options, from the traditional styles to some more interesting varietals that you may not find in a lot of restaurants. This location has a large patio, and it's worth it to eat out there if only to get a little bit away from the amount of noise inside. They're doing very well here, and it's easy to see why. This is one of our regular visits. read more

While I've been to two of the other Postino's, this one is the closest to me! We ordered bruschetta, of course, and then a panini/salad combo. Everything was delicious, as expected, but what set this visit apart was that unfortunately after my husband had picked up our order, we realized half the order was missing. I called to let them know and that my hubs could swing back by for the remainder of the order. Well they had the rest delivered to us! I was super impressed and everyone was very friendly. Definitely recommend! read more

Friendly and fast service before our movie at AMC!! We sat at the bar and had a wonderful time with our bartender, Cricket. She was kind, fun, friendly and fast! Postino 9CO - Bruschetta board (takeout) - Wine Bars Near Me - Denver, Colorado

This new Postino location is a solid alternative to the busy LoHi location (which I've never had an opportunity to check out due to consistently lengthy wait times). Ordering online was super easy and my order was ready in 10-15 minutes. There doesn't seem to be dedicated parking for Postino, which is probably the only downside here. It's just street parking alongside the not yet opened AMC, and you have to walk around the block and the path awkwardly cuts off at the patio so you either have to walk through the lawn or take the longer route via the sidewalk to get to the entrance. Okay now on to the good part. The food was amazing. I was skeptical of $16 bruschetta boards but the portion size was actually big enough to split. I also got a half sandwich and half salad and both were great. Looking forward to checking out the patio and their happy hour ($5 glasses of wine and beer pitchers) at some point. read more

Extremely disappointed with this place. I placed order online for 2 salads. I specifically noted no NUTS in one as I'm allergic and extra dressing. It gave us an option to ask for Utensils which I specifically checked YES. When I got there I asked lady for some bread with salad. She was really rude and said what do you mean bread on side. I asked again for side of bread like they serve with charcuterie boards with my salads. I literally got 1 slice of bread in a box for 2 salads. When I got order it had pecans all In salad was not even able to pick out and no utensils. I got side of skewers and they were overcooked tough meat. I will never try this place again. read more

Ok, anyone who knows me knows I love Postino. I've now been to this one five times--I think they know me now. Happy hour or not it's a great place to be. But especially happy hour. The outside has heat lamps and even a fireplace, so it's nice to sit out there even when it's chilly. Plus the best part is you can have a glass of wine while you wait for your table! Score! I cannot give a five star review for two reasons: the first is the bruschetta boards have been so toasted lately that they rip up the top of your mouth like a rake in the sand. Secondly, I must be getting old but last week we were dining inside and they cranked up the music so loud we had to yell to hear each other. Plus it wasn't good music. BUT, I do love it there and that won't stop me--I'm just hoping I don't have to fight with the food or the music on my next visit. Oh and did I mention the decor? Just gorgeous! read more

// Summary Great date night spot or place to catch up with some friends over some good food and a wide variety of drinks to keep everybody happy. // Experience I've been here for a couple of date nights, and it's a great experience. Usually get one of their charcuterie combos, and even their gluten-free tastes okay (I typically don't have that experience when I have to do that...). Wine selection is great, and everything tastes just right. // Service The couple of times I've been here, I've always had great and friendly service. The waitstaff was always accommodating for allergies and preferences, and was reassuring to the folks I was with that did have allergies. // Ambiance This is a better Postino than the LoHi location. They have a great outdoor and indoor space, and they don't bump the music so loud that you can't hear the other person. // Convenience There's plenty of parking around the area, just not on Colorado. There's also a free parking garage you can access that isn't too far away from the restaurant. read more

I have been wanting to check out this new location & had a coupon for a free bruschetta so I thought why not order some takeout on this cold snowy night for the fam! We ordered a bruschetta board, nine iron panini, meatballs & the Brussel sprouts salad. When I came to pick it up I also bought a gift card so I got to check out the new space... wow it's absolutely beautiful! Also...tje host & bartender were SO sweet & kind! When I got back home I realized there was an error with our sandwich (we had wanted no lettuce, tomato & Dijon..picky father in law lol) so I called & they were SO sweet about it. They corrected the order & delivered it to my apartment within 20 minutes. Very impressive with the road conditions! Oh & the food was fabulous- everything was nice & fresh. I can't wait to come in & visit once things open up again. Thank you Postino! read more

I was so excited to see Postino's opening a new location within a 5 min drive from my house. If you've never been, they are hands down one of the best wine cafes in Denver. Their menu is simple and they have a great selection of wines. Did I mention during Happy Hour they have $5 glasses? Their bruschetta boards are a must try if you are looking for something a little different from the traditional charcuterie boards. An order of bruschetta comes with 4 and you must try the Smoked Salmon & Pesto!! For those wondering, they are offering takeout and curbside pick-up options for safe social distancing during the pandemic and the food holds up well to have at home. I can't wait until the weather warms up so I can go for happy hour. read more

I was so happy to see this newly built Postino location near the heart of Denver! I live in Arizona and was so happy to have a familiar restaurant to visit! The food was amazing - my large group of family tried pretty much everything on the menu - bruschetta, skewers, cauliflower, tomato & burrata, and panini sandwiches. Everything was delicious! Our server, Jeff, was great and very attentive - making sure everyone's glass was kept full and checking in on us for order updates periodically but didn't hover too much - he did great! read more

Great place to celebrate a birthday with your coworkers! We arrived around 745 for some eats n drinks. the hostesses and staff were super nice and friendly, very attentive to us the whole time of our visit there. The atmosphere is chill, the music was kind of loud, I definitely couldn't have a normal conversation with the person across from me in our booth. They serve a wide selection of beer and wine, so we got a couple bottles for the table. It's a tapas style place so we got a bunch of charcuterie munchies to share followed by all three desserts. Everything was delicious! The only thing that was a drawback was we couldn't make a reservation unless there was 6 of us, there was 5... read more

I have been in Denver for about 2 years and this is one of my favorite spots to go to. The staff is super accommodating and there are tons of spots available so the wait is always minimal. If you need a reservation you can make it for 6+ people only. My favorite thing to get here is the bruschetta board paired with some wine. Spicy jam and goat cheese, salami and pesto and prosciutto and fig are the best. Also the board is a good meal if you share it with one other person. The cauliflower is also a favorite - great flavor and perfectly crunchy. I'll be back soon! read more

Underwhelming. We ordered the meatballs & goat cheese, olives, and a bruschetta board. The meatballs & goat cheese were okay. The olives were bland and not ripe and would be better served warm. The bruschetta board came with four and we chose: prosciutto di Parma, fig & mascarpone (prosciutto lacked in saltiness, add drizzle of balsamic or honey or sub mascarpone for goat cheese), smoked salmon & pesto (add capers or lemon to balance vegetal flavors), sweet n' spicy pepper jam & goat cheese (the best one but still underwhelming), and mushroom & mascarpone (add salt/seasoning or truffle oil) -- bread also needs to be toasted for true bruschetta experience and balance of texture. Service on the other hand was fantastic -- 5 stars! read more

I really enjoyed it here. The resteraunt has a great concept with the main theme seeming to be wine and bruschetta boards. I could eat the fig and Brie one every single day. The crème brûlée was also great. Service was okay but they seemed to be busy so it wasn't a problem. Definitely preferred sitting at the bar rather than a table. I'll come back read more

Nice time at Postino! First time going to the one on Colorado and I must say, WAY BETTER experience! I've been to the one in LoHi and the staff there are so rude. The hosts especially. This one on Colorado is SO much better. Definitely go here if you're considering dining at postinos. The bartender we had today, Halie(I hope I spelled that right) was super sweet and very attentive, she let us know about happy hour and even let us get our last drinks in under happy hour even though we were cutting it close. Ambiance is great, super cool decor. Feels very modern and trendy. The sunglasses wall was super cool and gave a little pop of color to the decor. Food was decent, we got the bruschetta board with apple, fig jam, goat cheese, and the arugula tomato balsamic and tomato goat cheese and artichoke spread. The favorite was definitely the artichoke and tomato/arugula/balsamic ones. The tomato jam:goat cheese I would not get again. The texture was weird and the goat cheese was barely noticeable. I had a great time with my friend for happy hour and Haile was freaking phenomenal. Her service is a 10/10. Only 4 stars for the bruschetta board. Bread was a little dry and the tomato jam was weird. Would go again!!! read more
