I use the mail box service at Postal Shoppe. As a traveler, I need a secure address to receive personal and business mail and packages, and hold the mail until needed. For the additional price of shipping, they package everything in one parcel and send to me at my chosen rate when requested. Saving the hassle of asking family and friends for favors. When I am in town, my box is available to check personally similar to a PO BOX around the clock. Yes, you MUST have your box number in your address, they are very clear about that when renting a box. Just make it part of the suite number. "Suite 113 #xxx". Works like a charm. The staff is helpful and cheerful over the phone to send my mail anytime I request it. If my memory is correct, my Postal Shoppe box is similarly priced to my previous P.O. Box. Takes a lot of stress out of traveling extensively. read more

I tried to give them a chance but it's going to be a no for me. Multiple times I haven't received my mail because they send it back because of no box number or whatever reason. No business owner has time to hunt down their sensitive mail. They didn't even offer to look for my mail. It takes two seconds to place to look up the business box number. I dropped in this location, on my way to the airport, to send baby shower invites. I was under the impression that they may have some sort of postage machine that weighs and stamps the mail, but they didn't. The nice lady that was inside sold me postage for 100 stamps and agree'd to put them on the invites. It was perfect because I didn't have a lot of time. I'd go there again anytime. read more

I went in there to get a PO Box because I am in the middle of moving to a house I just bought well I went up to the counter to ask how much a PO Box was and the specific details about their location and what not and was told that once you get a PO Box they will send your information to the post office and change your address for you to their location But that's not the case at all not only do they not send your information to the postal carrier all they do is tell them that you get mail at their location so I've had no mail in the PO Box for three weeks now and I was not under the impression That I have to change my address myself because of the worker at this location read more

Even better, this shop does monogramming and custom gift baskets for the holiday seasons. Being new to Dallas, this is great information for this upcoming season. This place is perfect for gift wrapping. I took the gift I was giving to my husband (then fiancé) on our wedding day back in August here to get wrapped, and it was perfect. I'm so sorry I can't remember the woman's name who helped me (maybe Laura? sorry I can't remember), but she was amazing. Very nice, easy to talk to and wraps fast! I gave her my three gifts, she asked me what theme/color I wanted and took care of the rest. She is such a sweet woman! We could've talked for hours; she was very nice. I gave her my items, walked down to a store to look around, and she called me about 10 minutes later letting me know it was complete! I was blown away. The price was very affordable, and the items looked great when done. I highly recommend this place. Not just for gift wrapping, but other little cutesy unique items. I was in a rush so I didn't really have time to shop, but from what I could see there were a lot of local, one of a kind items for purchase. I actually look forward to coming here. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I can always find a gift for my kids or treat myself while dropping off a package. They wear masks and it makes me feel safer while Covid is still ongoing. They'll even come out to the car to quickly retrieve a package once the store has cleared which is helpful if you are high-risk and have babies that can't mask up and touch and drool on everything. read more

Horrible. They charge twice as much as the regular post office. I can understand charging slightly higher, but twice as much? And unapologetic about it too. Don't waste your money. This should serve as a reminder that this establishment is, in fact, not an actual post office. Although that seems obvious, in the case of mailing time-sensitive material, they cannot guarantee that your mail will be sent/received in a timely manner. First-class read receipt mail was purchased, and I specified that it was critical that the parcel was postmarked the day the purchase was made (9am). Over 24 hours later, the USPS tracking number provided doesn't give me any status on my mail and I was informed that they cannot guarantee when the parcel was postmarked as I requested. In an attempt to investigate the matter further, my information was provided and was told they would inquire with the postman and would receive a call back; however, I received no call. If you want to make sure it's done right and on-time, you should go somewhere else. They cannot guarantee anything, and didn't offer anything in return for their inability (or lack of desire) to help. A waste of time and money. As a small tangent, the business owner at the time of my purchase said that leaving a positive review would get me a free jar of hot sauce. I've elected to forego my free hot sauce and leave a more accurate review that reflects an accurate portrayal. If you're looking for 5-7 business days and unrelated trinkets, shop here. read more

I love this Postal Shoppe. It's the only place I ships items from. There are other postal shops nearby, this is the only one I trust especially during the holidays sending gifts to relatives and making sure they arrive in a timely manner. I have never had an issue sending nor receiving. The new owners are friendly and are always willing to give you a hand. They sell a variety of things as well.
