The GAP: Where Sales Never Sleep…read more You know that feeling when you walk into a store just browsing--and five minutes later you're whispering "...how is this only $14?" to yourself in the dressing room? Welcome to the GAP, where there's always a sale, and it's never just 10% off. And if you find it cheaper online? They'll match it without blinking. No corporate hoops, no dramatic manager calls--just a cheerful "we got you." Don't see your size? No problem. They'll ship it to your house for free. The staff is super friendly, never pushy and somehow they always know when you're hunting for that one elusive medium in vintage soft crewnecks. This place has turned "running in real quick" into a full-blown ritual. Honestly, if loyalty points were a friendship, we'd be engaged by now. 5 out of 5. Long live the neighborhood GAP.

I love Gap. This one is near Hash House a Go Go. After lunch, I decided to walk off my meal and…read morehead over here. This store is large. Baby Gap is off to the left and is equally as massive. I was greeted by a man wearing floral red pants. I absolutely loved his flair. He let me know that regular items are 40% off and sale items are 50% off the marked price. I saw this nice plaid shirt. It was marked down to $9.99. I wanted it, but it didn't come in my size. Either I'd be barely breathing in a medium, or I'd look lost in an XXL. For kicks, I tried the XXL. The sleeve length was perfect. Yep, I looked like I had shrunk in it. I had to put it back. The deal at the back were great. Sadly, there was nothing that screamed my name. It's a wonderful store that made me happy browsing. I'm glad that I had stopped by. (17)

So my brother has me in a rather peculiar predicament, him and I having children 25.5 years apart…read morefrom one another when we are 3 and some change apart. I started very young and well if I were to have a kid at his age I'd consider it a geriatric pregnancy. I've had zero intention of being around anything children related for years, let alone infancy related. Now I find myself popping over to the baby section in Target and looking around like please no one notice that I'm perusing this section to collect weeks worth of fits for my nephew so when this kid hits earthside he has a decent sized wardrobe. It's somehow become an obligation to look in stores like Carter's when I'm near them. I stopped in over the weekend because I keep feeling the need to "just see" what's around. I picked up several new items for this little dude and most of the store was 40% off. I don't have a clue in the world about babies or small children so I'm buying all random sizes and as much as it would have been nice for our children to be close in age and me ask to use these fits in the future, that's never happening!!! Love Carter's always have! The quality still seems ok for little toss on items. If there's some new really cute baby gear store that I have no idea about, I'd love you to drop them in my dm's because while this is not my first rodeo I haven't been in this arena in 2.5 decades. Great store, selection and prices. I've gotta pump the brakes on his wardrobe and focus on mine since one of us will only be able to wear things for a couple months until they outgrow them. Can't wait to see this little guy in his new little picks from me. I even signed up for the "rewards" program, lord help me!

Carter's January 30, 2026…read more 2 stars The store was okay overall, but nothing stood out in a positive way. The interior felt a bit underwhelming. Customer service was the main issue. No one greeted us, and when we approached the register to check out, the cashier had her back turned to us while we stood at the counter. We waited several minutes before being acknowledged. When she finally turned around, the interaction was not very pleasant. Customer service plays a big role in the shopping experience, and this visit fell short in that area. The selection was decent the value kinda high as always.

I am a 9-year shopper and 8-year consigner at Divine Consign, I have SO MANY GREAT THINGS to say…read moreabout it and I ALWAYS recommend it to others! I actually came on here to write this review after seeing that their overall rating isn't as great as I think it should be! PROS: --You can find almost ANYTHING here, relating to kids/babies!! SO OFTEN I find things that I had been eyeing at Target or elsewhere, and now I get to snag them for a fraction of the price! --I ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS score great steals of deals when I shop here. If I shop Saturday night as a consigner, I find items priced TO SELL QUICK and I see to it that they are SOLD QUICK--to me!! :) If I wait and shop on discount days, I find things that were hoping to sell at a higher price were passed over by the masses, so now they're HALF OFF or more, so take 50 or 75 percent OFF of 75 percent off retail. It's SO FUN, like a treasure hunt, to find things! ALWAYS worth my drive over. --Organization of items gets better and better. With the incentive to volunteer working at the sale, there are tons of volunteers to organize board games in ABC order, group books by type and series and topic, and keep all the toys grouped together for easy shopping. Keeps getting better! --Quality for the most part is top-notch. Compared to the other consignment sales in the area, there are FAR fewer disappointments when I take clothes to the inspection table and check for hidden stains. --Selection, especially on Saturday/Sunday, is excellent, especially in puzzles/games, clothes, and books. The earlier the better for good shoes. CONS: --As a shopper, the fee to use credit card --As a consigner, the tighter and tighter restrictions on what can be sold, etc. I guess it's how they're perfecting the sale as the years go by (and I KNOW they have their reasons, it's not just arbitrary), and apparently with the number of consigners it's working out for them to tighten things up, but I'm disappointed each year with the new, more restrictive rules, like limiting # of books, limiting # of accessories, completely stopping to accept certain things that have been there for years). --As a consigner, I wish the cost to consign didn't keep going up. Besides the 30% fee already going to the DC owners, it used to be like $5-10 flat fee PER 100 items, but now that's PER 50 items. -- For those considering consigning: It is A LOT OF WORK to Consign here! I love doing it and I love getting that check rather than just donating all my daughter's stuff, but I'm certainly not making minimum wage doing it, considering the HOURS of prepping, entering in the computer, cutting tags, pinning and taping items, boxing them up, then physically loading and unloading them to put them on the sales floor. It's a piece of work I tell ya! It worked well for me when I was a stay-at-home mom of a baby/toddler/preschooler. But it's not for the faint of heart, and not for the full time working mommas, I wouldn't think!

Love attending these kids resale events! Easily the best…read morechildren's resale in Dallas! There is a spring and a fall sale every year! Easily the cleanest, stain free, trendiest kids resale in Dallas. I'm not sure why they don't extend to Austin and Dallas. No cover charge but there are some rules to attending. Other sales permit obviously stained items, it is Rare to find a stained item at this sale. If you do, hand it to an employee or drop it in the basket and they remove it. Checkout is easy, you do get a bit of a discount if you pay cash. Check the website for the size of wagon you can bring, they sell IKEA style bags, and to see which days kids are permitted, which days are 50% and 75%!

I brought in 5 bags (think Whole Foods brown paper bag) filled to the brim, not wasting an inch of precious bag real estate. I got $43 for it. Considering I used to work at a used books store, I understand how the buying model works and considering how affordable their clothes are, I thought I got a fair trade. In actuality, they only bought 41 items and they allowed me to donate the rest (thank goodness because I did not want to bring them back home). Most of the clothes I brought in ended up being donated, which was ok by me. They're really looking for new looking clothes. If it looks worn, it will probably be donated. The staff was nice but most weren't wearing masks. They're pretty far away from you for the most part so it's not a big deal. They were very busy but had a positive attitude and worked as fast as they could (I waited an hour). You have the option to leave the store too if you don't want to shop. As for shopping while I waited, their racks are full and well organized. I ended up buying 3 outfits and left the store with about 25 bucks. They also sell strollers, toys, activity centers, walkers, backpacks, play pens, etc at good prices. I would definitely come back the next time we clean out the closet. I wish I knew about this place sooner!
