So my brother has me in a rather peculiar predicament, him and I having children 25.5 years apart from one another when we are 3 and some change apart. I started very young and well if I were to have a kid at his age I'd consider it a geriatric pregnancy. I've had zero intention of being around anything children related for years, let alone infancy related. Now I find myself popping over to the baby section in Target and looking around like please no one notice that I'm perusing this section to collect weeks worth of fits for my nephew so when this kid hits earthside he has a decent sized wardrobe. It's somehow become an obligation to look in stores like Carter's when I'm near them. I stopped in over the weekend because I keep feeling the need to "just see" what's around. I picked up several new items for this little dude and most of the store was 40% off. I don't have a clue in the world about babies or small children so I'm buying all random sizes and as much as it would have been nice for our children to be close in age and me ask to use these fits in the future, that's never happening!!! Love Carter's always have! The quality still seems ok for little toss on items. If there's some new really cute baby gear store that I have no idea about, I'd love you to drop them in my dm's because while this is not my first rodeo I haven't been in this arena in 2.5 decades. Great store, selection and prices. I've gotta pump the brakes on his wardrobe and focus on mine since one of us will only be able to wear things for a couple months until they outgrow them. Carter's January 30, 2026 2 stars The store was okay overall, but nothing stood out in a positive way. The interior felt a bit underwhelming. Customer service was the main issue. No one greeted us, and when we approached the register to check out, the cashier had her back turned to us while we stood at the counter. We waited several minutes before being acknowledged. When she finally turned around, the interaction was not very pleasant. Customer service plays a big role in the shopping experience, and this visit fell short in that area. Don't shop here if you're black, they might as well have a sign that says "whites only". My mother and I walked into the store and no one acknowledged us, but soon after multiple white customers walked in and they were greeted at the door. No smiles, no nothing for us, just weird stares and side eyes, the entire time we were there. The tension in the store was so thick, you could cut it with a knife, it was obvious we weren't welcomed! Mid shopping we decided to not purchase anything because we refuse to patronize a business that discriminates against our people or anyone for their identity. Even when we left, employees were standing right by the door and they didn't acknowledge us at all, no "have a nice day" no "thanks for shopping with us" nothing. The employees on shift were two young white white women and this was around 1pm! I'm not gonna say, "carters do better" I'm gonna say Black people, spend your money else, buy black owned!! read more

I've yet to head in here just to browse, my last handful of trips have been with a purpose - returning items purchased online, exchanging gifted items or looking for something specific. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, and I appreciate that once I decline assistance on the floor I am left alone - thank you! While I've yet to find specifics I've been in search of, this place has a plethora of shoes, socks, onesies, clothes for preemie+ and seasonal outfits. Cute little baby store. They don't exactly have things you NEED. It's more cutesy items to dress up your little one. They lack in burp cloth options and swaddlers. They only had the old school blanket swaddlers in one color option for boys. The people working weren't very helpful. I returned an item for store credit and while doing so the woman just seemed like she hated her job. She asked for my email address to do the return. I refused to give it to her because I didn't want to be bombarded with emails. She assured me she was opting me out of the emails and the email need was just for the return. So I caved and gave it to her. I should have listened to that little voice in my head saying not to do it. I get bombarded regularly now with emails from Carters and their brands. Carters actually has no opt out link on their emails so I can't make them stop. So irritating. This is a decent store to get cutesy items but you won't find the necessities. If you go shopping here do NOT give your email address to them! read more

Simran was AMAZING! I was there today with a complicated return I was dreading and she was so incredibly helpful ! She even helped me find a NB sizing for pijama set I purchased instead of saying the customary "whatever is on the floor is all we have left". I'm used to that response (which is why i online shop) so it would not been a huge surprise but since I have three kids and I'm able to match them with baby sister it was such a happy ending. All because she went the extra mile. This was such a rare experience that is missing in retail transactions. The original purchase was made online bc I typically dislike going into stores but this turned my attitude around. I guarantee if more transactions were like this we would forgo shopping online and do more in store. She was pleasant , helpful, kind patient, and all around 5 stars ! Please management read this and give this girl a monetary reward or recognition. This is what will keep brick and mortar alive. read more

I've been to several locations at this point in my life, and this one is my favorite. This store is not as claustrophobic as other locations, and the staff do a good job of keeping the products grouped together and where they should be. This store is well-stocked and clean. I also find the staff here to be more helpful. When I was in here this week, a guy looked up the outfit I was looking for and put in a call to another location. He offered to do this. I can't tell you the last time that happened to me. Tip: they have a great "clearance" section too! This store just feels happier than other locations. Maybe it's the happy staff ;) read more

Fair warning: I don't have kids, and therefore don't know the baby-clothes-shopping world. But our neighbors' kid was turning one, so we came here for a gift. It was easy to find what we wanted, and prices seemed good to me, at least on the clearance rack, where we actually found decent stuff. There was a really long wait to check out (I'm not sure why), but I think they gave us a all a discount for our patience. Either that or the prices on what I bought were mislabeled, and they were actually cheaper. All in all, not a bad experience. read more

One star for location, two for prices and sales , this helps us parents a lot , three stars for the store being easy to navigate and well stocked , you'll find what you need , four stars for the staff , they are always helpful and knowledgeable about their merchandise and how the clothes fit. Dressing babies and toddlers may seem easy to the naked eye but decoding the sizes is not easy ! Two year olds typically don't wear the size that is stated for a two year old so when shopping for a child or as a gift , this is a great place for that ! This store is small but you will find everything you need for the toddler set ! read more

The store was fairly organized but the staff were horrendous! One lady was rude and condescending when I had questions about their sale and didn't even make eye contact with me while answering my question. The lady who rang up my items was even worse! She did not stop her conversation about her personal life with a co worker to address me. Instead she rang up my items, put them in a bag and literally threw the bag down on the counter from a few feet away. I love Carter's but I will not be returning to this store. read more
