I would attribute that to poor sales, and the competition is just way too fierce. Mom and I are in town for a wedding and we decided to get a couple of accessories to add to our outfits. We ended up buying more than we intended, there were just way too much bargain buys! To top it off, there's a discount when you open a new account. So on top of the heavily discounted items we already got, the additional discount just by opening an account was just the cherry on top. Our cashier ( I hate that I forgot her name!) was incredibly kind and friendly. Service with a smile is always a plus PLUS! Boy, it makes me think that if only those other now-defunct stores gave the same kind of experience I got here, they might just still be open... maybe...

You're not just buying a hat; you're getting craftsmanship done right in front of you. Watching them steam, shape, and customize is its own experience.
