There was a slight language barrier between him and me, but they handled it gracefully, never rushed, always attentive, and they made sure communication was smooth by assisting with translation as needed. You could tell he took pride in what he does and wanted to get it right. The shaping, fit, and attention to detail here were outstanding. You're not just buying a hat; you're getting craftsmanship done right in front of you. Watching them steam, shape, and customize is its own experience. I referred 3 close family members to open consignment accounts, and each account was set up with…read morethe direct, in-person assistance of one of the store's luxury managers, who visited our home to help with setup and was present for the consignment intake on every account. Everything was done transparently and never against any policy we were told about at the time. Despite this, all 4 of our accounts were closed without explanation. We have total $850 site credits across all 4 accounts which are unused and now lost. When I raised the issue with the employee who helped set everything up and with the store manager, both told me they would help to try to get the accounts reactivated. Instead, the only response I ever received was a corporate email stating my account was closed, that I no longer had access to any services, and that I was not permitted to contact any employees or visit any store, consignment office, or pop-up location. Outrageous. To make matters worse, when my consigned shoes were returned to me, the original shoe box was badly damaged -- which affects the resale value of the item. I have before and after pictures with timestamps as proof. Luckily I also saved the message history, documenting the account setups and consignments, facilitated by their own staff. To be treated this way and to have my item's box damaged on top of it -- is unacceptable. I'd think twice before trusting this company with consigned items or referral programs.
