I would give negative stars if I could. I dropped off a very important, time sensitive letter and asked for a tracking number. Apparently it was necessary that I buy a bigger envelope, so in the end I paid $4. Later that day I got a call from Post Pack & Ship that there would be no tracking number because something "went wrong" with the generation of that number by the postal machine. There was no refund offer, but the assurance that my letter would be there by "Monday or Tuesday". It is now 2 weeks later, the check I sent has not been cashed, nor have I received my transcript from the school which promises a 5 day turnaround. So now I must spend about 2 hours going to get my transcript ordered in person, another 2 hours a week later to pick it up, then BARELY make the application deadline at the university, and ONLY if I drop off the application myself which might not be allowed. The letter has somehow disappeared. I wonder if he opened it, checked for valuables, then chucked it. I've never had the post office lose something, as bad a rap as they get, they're pretty solid. This place, however, screwed me over royally. There's a chance I'll miss my application deadline and waste a year of my life because this mental midget couldn't freaking send my letter. I'm incredibly angry and worried. The $4 isn't the issue, it's missing the application deadline, and also spending hours and hours driving around to TRY to fix the problem he caused. BAD. BAD. BAD. "Gee I'm sorry" will never cover it. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING EVER. This awful man charged me $1,500 for a Fed Ex. Yes, you read that right. I am in the middle of disputing it with my credit card company. he should be put out of business. Since then I've heard about his terrible reputation all over town. Save your money and go elsewhere. Their passport photo prices are $35! You can get them for $10 going to a nearby Walgreens. Tried to ship something on a Sat since the post office next door was closed; big mistake. He ended up charging me for the packaging and sealing it before I had a chance to check the price and say no. read more

This place is great for shipping. I forgot to ask the man's name who helped me, but he went above and beyond regular customer service. I had a box to ship with a few items in it. One item was an awkward size so I originally had a way larger box than I needed. It was going to be really expensive to ship, and after my surprised reaction, the man that helped me helped me shave $15 off the cost by offering a better fitting box, repacking everything, and cutting down the sides so even the dimensions were smaller. BEWARE of this business!! I walked in here today to get postage stamps because the line at the post office a couple of store fronts down was packed. I bought 3 books of stamps, thinking that the price seemed high but had no idea that a business can charge you more for federal stamps. He had charged me $15/book (normally $9.80). I went back for a refund and stated on the customer satisfaction email that I thought he should have told me that there was a 50% markup on the normal price. This was his immediate response: "Sorry you felt that way. Too bad everything in life isn't free. Next time you should nickel and dime a restaurant to on their cost too. Have a great holiday." Outstanding service!! Tom Ma, the owner, was VERY helpful! I was sending a package to my daughter in Africa and he did everything to make sure it arrived safely to her and on time. He called me when the DHL carrier needed some additional information prior to the pick-up. He informed me on the when the package was picked up from his location. He emailed me updates as the package arrived in Africa. He really cared about making sure this package arrived safely to my daughter. I've been going here on and off over the years typically for notary public services. While my bank offers the service for free the person who does it isn't always in, so I go here instead. I also drop off packages occasionally. Today I went in with 3 UPS packages to drop off, returns that had a relatively high value. I asked for a receipt (proof that I had dropped them off) and I was told in no uncertain terms that he wouldn't give me one. Period. Never mind that other non-UPS stores routinely give me a receipt, e.g. Staples. It is the owner's policy not to give a receipt. He offered me a piece of paper to write down the tracking numbers. That isn't the point, I want PROOF that they were dropped off, should there be a problem with the return, so I can inform Amazon. The owner here just doesn't get it. He said that I didn't trust him! Nothing to do with it. He repeated that I should write down the tracking numbers and I explained to him, again, that that doesn't prove that I dropped the packages off. Forget it, he won't do it. OK, next 2 documents for notary services. It gets done, no problem, but once again the receipt says "Lottery" - which he crosses out and writes in "Notary". This is a business expense and I don't want it to say "Lottery" - because that certainly isn't a business expense!! Sure, he crosses it out and writes "Notary" in, but for crying out loud, after all the years he has been in business, couldn't he get his register to correctly document what he is charging for? I have to pass these receipts on in order to be reimbursed and it just looks sloppy. I ask him about it and again he won't budge. Take it or leave it. Then, last straw, for one copy he charges $0.55!! OK, whatever, fine, I know he overcharges for most everything else, but really? $0.55 for one copy, with cranky attitude on top?? He has been irritable before but now I am through. Forget it, I will find somewhere else to go. I suggest you do the same. read more
