This is a five star review for the staff at Studio City Mailboxes, NOT for Fed Ex shipping which…read morecreated the need for so much intervention on their part. I had important documents including a driver's license that needed to be shipped to my son in England, which I sent to be held for pick up. When my son arrived at the pick-up location, he was told by the staff in England that there was a special code he needed or they couldn't release the package (it was sent no signature required, addressed to him, and he had ID.) Knowing how impossible Fed Ex is to deal with, I went in person to Studio City Mailboxes to ask for help. One of the two employees on duty spent over an hour working with me on this before calling Michelle, the manager, who remembered me sending the package and said she would work on it even though she was not presently on duty in the store. It took several days to resolve because no one but Michelle and the staff at Studio City Mailboxes seemed to care or be willing to make any effort to resolve the issue. Michelle spent DAYS contacting Fed Ex, keeping me informed of her process, and even called my son in England to make sure he was ultimately successful picking up his package. Michelle then gave me a courtesy refund of the $70 charge for Fed Ex. I hope that Studio City Mailboxes was not out of pocket for the time and effort they made to resolve an important issue. This is what customer service by humans, not a chatbot, looks like. Both Michelle and her colleague understood the problem (which was not of their making) and the importance of correcting it, and did everything they could think of until it was resolved. They easily could have shrugged and given me the phone number for Fed Ex (which no human answers) but they never put it on me to solve this or to pay for inadequate service. I've been coming to Studio City Mailboxes for years, I've seen the staff, especially Michelle, deal with difficult customers and frustrating situations, and staff has always been courteous, professional, and proactive. I can't express my appreciation enough, staff's work and attitude is why I will keep coming back, 100%

The building used to be an old neighborhood cinema, but now it's home to this mailbox center that's finally having its glow-up moment. And let me tell you: the new team is a massive upgrade. The two guys running it now? Friendly, accommodating, and actually happy to help. A total 180 from the previous workers, who... well, let's just say customer service was not their strong suit. I honestly avoided this place before, but now it feels completely different--in a good way. I drop off all my FedEx and UPS packages here, and I pick up my boxes from Amazon, UPS, and FedEx at this location too. Super convenient, no stress. I also got my passport photos taken here, and they did an excellent job with those as well. They offer PO boxes, mailboxes, notary services, passport photos, fingerprinting, and just an overall smooth experience. If you need mailing or document services in Sherman Oaks, this is officially a yes from me.

NoHo Mailboxes had come Highly Recommended to me by my Ex who has ben using them for her Personal and Business needs for nearly a Decade. When I popped in to inquire about getting a Box, not only were they Super Friendly and Down-to-Earth, but they even Addressed my Concerns for CyberSecurity/ Spam Calls by pointing me in the Direction of Proton Mail, which I now *Swear* by. Merci Beaucoup, Jessica!!! Some Minor Inconveniences came into play when I first Signed Up regarding having left my ID and subsequent Key Exchange, but they were on top of it right away via Email, Text, and Phone... and they Literally went the Extra Mile to Remedy the Situation in a Timely Manner. Dankeschon, Mok! One of the Best Attributes about this Location is that it stays open for Private Mailbox Access (sans Package Retrieval, but that's completely Understandable... just come during Business Hours) 24-7 with your Keys, so you can Unlock the Door and Retrieve your Mail if you are only Available to come Outside of their Posted Hours. Which is Crucial for me, given that my Side Hustle between Acting Gigs is being On-Site Property Manager for various Luxury Estates from the Valley all the way down through Venice... and with Gas being upwards of $6-$7, that Access to Crucial Mail makes a World of Convenience. And, Unlike most other Mailbox Businesses or the Post Office itself, you get your Deposit back upon Returning your Keys should you decide to Move in the Near Future (which I will be, so the Timing of their Contract is absolutely Spot-On as well). They also have an Online Portal wherein you receive Accurate Details of Delivery so you don't have to even keep Driving to the Physical Location to see if anything you've been Ardently Waiting on has Arrived yet-- Jessica was even kind enough to Call me today about a Package that I'd been Highly Anticipating ever since I Ordered it and subsequently received a Confirmation Email from the Company yesterday that it had indeed Arrived! They tend to take a fairly Consistent Lunch from 1:30pm-2pm, which is both Posted on their Door as well as Online... and as I've gathered from other Customers who have Ventured there around that time, it tends to be a bit Flexible with a good 15 minute Leeway, so just be sure to Plan around that with Gas Prices being what they are if you're in Need of picking up particular Parcels outside those Posted hours. People gotta eat, yo... ain't no Thang. Outside of that, Jessica, Mok, & company generally run a fairly Tight Ship that will have you Laughing and leaving with a Smile on your Face whenever it's time to get "Postal" ;D
