There was a line that spewed outdoors waiting to order. The ordering and checkout line moves like a sloth. This is a small brick and mortar bakery with no seating as its purpose is for order and takeout. There is one small self-serve condiment and napkin station. There is a menu posted legible and big lettering on a wall. There is a small selection of retail merchandise as greeting cards, long bandanas and baseball caps. The cards are seemingly appear average design. I would purchase cards that are scenic seaside landscape or nostalgia winter picturesque paintings by Maud Lewis, Canadian folk artist. Ham and cheese croissant $6.00 was paucity for the miniscule ham and cheese imbedded. The size of the croissant was also miniscule. It tasted average and very oily. This croissant pastry was flaky. I am enamored with pastries. I was really looking forward for cruller to fill my morning. No comment for the beverages as I did not order any. Customer service was average as expected. The star of the show and what made this all worthwhile was the chocolate almond croissant. Hands-down the best chocolate almond croissant I've ever had the pleasure of gracing my taste buds and dare I say life-changing. This croissant was perfectly crisp and flaky on the outside with a generous and satisfying amount of chocolate and almond paste filling on the inside. My friend and I got the maple latte and a chai latte. I ordered the chai (10oz) for $4.50, but was charged $5. I confirmed with the staff that the board menu lists $5 for a 16oz -- so I expected the larger size, but got the smaller one without it being made clear. Prices are reasonable otherwise, but the size labeling was misleading. The chai was a bit watery, but the maple latte was solid!
