4 stars recommend! Popped in here first thing Saturday morning and spent a perfect rainy day champagne tasting. The place really picked up and they ran out of seats but luckily we got there early. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, they helped us pick out some bubbly and beers. read more

Drinks mediocre. **{Staff extremely snobby, rude, judgmental, racist} we were not dressed our best, we had just finished a hike and decided to stop for a drink, when we stepped in we judged immediately staff whispered and started at us the entire time we were there. ***Don't waste your money on this place.*** (Deserves 0 stars)* read more

Was craving a mimosa and was pleased to find this little spot just down the road from where we were staying! I had the most delicious spicy mango mimosa! It had fresh mango juice and just the right amount of kick! I love that they do mimosa cocktails here. It's a nice change of pace to switch it up from wine every now and then! The rim had tajin and the owner didn't skimp on it and even added some in the drink since I told her I love it ! She said she was inspired to make it after a Bloody Mary she had during the pandemic. The owner was super funny and sweet; she made our time tasting much more enjoyable because she was having a good time too! I can't wait to come back to try the other mimosas next time... There was a colada flavor that sounded amazing. She also said she made delicious panini sandwiches and giant pretzels! Will definitely be back for all of the above ;) Thank you Pop the Bubbly! read more

This place was a lot of fun! Great drinks, both champagne and beer. My wife isn't a champagne fan, but she had some of their drinks and loved them! I had some of their great draft beer. Staff was super friendly! read more

Love sparkling wine (doesn't everyone) and was excited about trying wines we wouldn't normally find or taste. Two of us got the $22 "flight" which was not the most expensive, but almost. We got 1/3 of a flute three times, in other words, one flute (not glass) of wine, total. It was a selection of mediocre wines you could buy at a large grocery store. No "real" champagne, just a French Cremant, a Cava, and a Prosecco. So for $44 we got one flute, and there is the tip. Also, there was a sign on the register that said 3% added if a credit card was used. My wife used a debit card and was still charged 3%. When she disputed the charge, since it came straight from her account with no charges to Pop the Bubbly, the staff basically shrugged their shoulders. So $60+ for one flute of sparkly meh. We wanted to love the place, but won't be back. read more

We celebrated my friend's Bachlorette weekend in Murphys and Pop the Bubbly provided us with a special send off for the weekend. They set us up outside on the front patio with a beautiful charcuterie board and a few different bottles of bubbles, juices to mix, and fruit to top it off. They came in to check in on our group several times and were so friendly. We had a lovely experience. read more

Very cute spot just at the end of Main St. A nice place to enjoy some bubbles and sparkling wine. They have a decent selection of sparkling wine from around the world as well as flavored and Rose wines. They have a few snacks but we enjoyed the small charcuterie board which was decent and filled the need for a snack. I wouldn't say that it was the best charcuterie board I've had. The only weird thing is that their menu has flights on there but if you're sitting outside or you are there during peak hours, they don't offer flights. It would be better if that their menu's don't include the flights and offer a separate menu to patrons who are eligible to order flights. The flights are the first thing on the front page of the menu and it's very misleading. read more

While the shop is super cute, visitors should know that there is an automatic 18% gratuity for one person or 20 and that gratuity is also applied to retail in addition to the tasing. When we realized that we were being inappropriately charged and brought this to the owner's attention, she turned what was perhaps a whoops moment into a very unfortunate event and loss of our future business. Her tone turned aggressive and derogatory in the flip of a switch. We all left dumbfounded and disappointed with her lack of customer service. read more

Visiting for the weekend and stopped her for a refreshing drink. It was so cute inside and decorated So well! It was a busy weekend but the owner greeted us and kept making sure to let us know she'd be with us soon. We ordered the mangomosa, Jamaica me crazy mosa and my husband got a beer and everything was delicious ! We didn't order food because we already ate but we saw it being made and being sent out and it looked so amazing! Will definitely be back next time we visit. read more

Didn't try the food but I should've! Nice service she was serving alone but great service. The whole scene was very fun & awesome,

This place is basically at the end of Main St. It was nice becasue they offer still and sparkiling wines as well as a nice selection of beer on tap. They also have a nice selection of foods, so you could go just for a tasting, or for lunch, and mimosas. I wanted a sparkling flight. Menu says 'Non-peak hours', but we went on a Sunday early afternoon, and they poured me three tastes, so maybe it just depends on how busy they are. This place was great, because my husband is not a sparkling person, so he could have his beer and didn't have to watch me drink my wines. Inside is more of a social atmosphere, with a bar you can sit at, or a few high tables where they will come to your table to help you. read more

I was excited to try this place for an afternoon flight of French Bubbly. But none of the servers were wearing masks and even though they have a great patio, I was not comfortable being served by people who don't think mask-wearing is serious. Love, love, love this place! What a great concept! This is a champagne bar that also offers beer and food. They have a ton of different champagnes and champagne cocktails as well as some delicious looking food selections. We stopped in to have a glass of champagne while we were shopping yesterday. Really friendly and accommodating staff. They have both indoor and patio seating. We sat indoors just because it was quite hot yesterday. This is the perfect place to stop and recharge. It's especially great if you are burned out on wine tasting. You can sip a delicious champagne cocktail or a draft beer and relax. Definitely worth a stop and I plan on trying some of their food on our next visit. read more

Since my original visit, I have been a few more times. Each time I brought friends or family. I have been delighted to see their growth, even during covid. Their menu options have increased, their staff is growing, and it's great to see. Yes, you can buy these champagnes in store, but where else do they offer champagne tasting, from bottles you would never think to purchase? The staff is friend and do their best to remain as attentive as possible. They do have outdoor seating and can occasionally get a little when it's busy. When I'm out tasting with friends, I'm there to enjoy myself, it shouldn't ever be a rush. A nice chill Saturday tasting... that's my jam. read more

Don't even deserve one star. We asked to order and in return were scolded and the bartender walked away. A proper response could have been "we will be right with you" There is no excuse for the behavior of the workers here. This was extremely uncomfortable and judging by some of the other reviews here, it seems as though this is a pattern. When we complained to another server, she said it would be a good idea if we left. Gladly and never to return. My advice for anyone who comes upon this place. Just leave. They suck. And in response the owner's review, no we were not impatient and no we didn't try to "jump" in front of two tables. The people who arrived after us were served before us because they were white. And have you ever heard of the words "we will be right with you"? If anyone caused a scene it was you. This is not a way to treat customers. There's no shortage of other wineries or bars in Murphy who would happily accommodate us respectfully, regardless of being busy. And judging by how quickly you responded to my Yelp review, it would seem that you have plenty of time and aren't as overwhelmed as you claimed to be. Good luck running your business like this. read more

Stopped in on Irish Day in Murphy's. Great service, fabulous sparkling. Will be back!

This place made such an impression on us. Group of 4 of us went this last weekend. The owners and staff were so amazing and sweet. Super chill place love the atmosphere and owners were so involved. The staff and owners got along so well, you could tell the owners care and have lots of love for the staff. Really enjoyed this place, can't wait to go back to Murphy's and end up here again. Thank you pop the bubbly for making us feel right at home, Micheladas were on point! Yes that's right people they make Micheladas here! Also I see some of the negative reviews and not sure - maybe we got lucky and I know we went in while it was not busy, This place gets busy, while we we were there it did get busy! The owners and staff really try hard to make it the best experience, we could tell how busy they were. Overall I would say to those people give this place a try again, the owners and staff really do care about the customers and the experience, we had a good time laughed and chatted with them. read more

First time trying this place and was excited to check it out. It's a cute spot and has a nice outdoor seating area and selection of champagne choices and flights. It was a bit awkward when we first got there...all the girls working were just hanging out and sitting on counters and it kind of felt like we crashed their party. Also--only a couple of them were wearing masks and the rest didn't seem too bothered to chat with customers without a mask. During this time--they should have a better respect to the safety of their guests. read more

If you like champagne like me, you'll really enjoy Pop the Bubbly! So nice that they were open during Covid. The inside is super cute and has a great assortment of wines and champagnes. The staff was very friendly and attentive as well. I did the flight tasting of champagne and loved all the choices I was given and also that the girl behind the counter explained to me what each tasting was. The mimosa menu was so creative and fun and I of course had to get the Dole Whip Mimosa. If you know me, you know I'm a huge Disneyland fan, so this definitely made my day, and was almost as magical as a dole whip. Well maybe it was, can't go wrong with dole whip and champagne... Disneyland take note ;) haha Would love to visit again! read more

A group of us, including a local, stopped in for a drink during this year's Irish Day celebration. The town was packed, and everyone was having a great time. We were lucky to get 4 seats at the bar, but sadly, the owner was the one to serve us and she was snippy from the beginning. We ordered our bubbly and were served promptly, but our experience continued to decline as we tried to order another round of drinks. The other, nice, server near us explained that she had 6 drinks ahead of us, and we understood because it was extremely busy. But after waiting for 20 minutes and seeing people that had just walked up to the bar get served, I was hopeful when the owner came back down to our end of the bar. But then she proceeded to engage the people that had just walked up to the bar behind me. When I spoke up, and told her that we had been waiting for 20 minutes to place our order, instead of being kind and helping us, she yelled at me about how busy they were and literally dismissed me and continued to take the order of the people behind me. Yes, they were busy (and I was a server for many years so I know what it's like), but to receive such rude service from the owner was unacceptable. I promptly left and will never come back. I refuse to financially contribute to such a horrible person. I gave 2 stars instead of one because the spicy mango mimosa was amazing. Too bad the owner doesn't know how to treat people and after reading other Yelp reviews, it appears that her attitude wasn't just because it was busy, but that she always runs hot. Every other establishment we went to was great and people, including another restaurant owner we spoke with, were very friendly. I highly recommend Murphys on Irish Day, but will tell all of my friends and family to avoid the bubbly and the rude woman who owns it. read more

I generally do not write reviews but I found this lovely spot the other night and never wanted to leave. They have every type of Champagne along with amazing drinks, not to mention the food. The service was outstanding with our enthusiastic waitress Morgan. She brings light and great conversation to the table. She is very personable and sweet. Kudos to this woman owned business in quant downtown Lodi!! I will definitely be going back every chance I can. You can sit inside on the comfortable couches or tables along with outdoor seating. Thursday nights are fabulous to go with farmers market on the and live music in the bar, you can't lose! So please give it a try, it will me a memorable visit! read more

The pesto sandwich was amazing. Will get again. And the decor is inviting and relaxing.

A must-do stop when you're visiting Murphys! We were grateful it wasn't super crowded, but this place was busy on a warm summer weekend out and about in town. They have a little nook upstairs perhaps for members or reservations, but we were seated at the larger tables down below for our group. They have a few seating options but I would say the high bar tables were good but the chairs weren't as comfortable being a woman with a big butt. I almost felt like I was falling over, not sure if it was the champagne or the chair actually. A few of us got flights, which had really nice pours, and you can't share flights you only get one glass. And a few of us just got one glass knowing in advance what they wanted. The tasting if you're not driving is a great option, the ones we tried on it were all good and you can really recognize the difference in champagnes based on the notes and the regions of the flavor. We also ordered food, which was all very good and tasty. There was just a moment when we expressed someone from our group had a nut allergy, but the nuts on the charcuterie board weren't separated. Service overall was pleasant, all the ladies were really sweet and nice at this location. The decor is very fitting of the theme, compared to other tasting rooms we visited I would say there's opportunity to offer more Pop The Bubbly swag. Even the napkins were cute. A must see! read more

I am so happy that I was able to get some wine tasting in this summer even during COVID! I am a huge fan of wine but also very picky. Not that I know crap about wine I just red wine! LOL. So, when my sister in law told me about this place and the different options they had, I was sold! We walked in to a small lobby that lead to their outdoor patio area. They had seats already set up in the shade so you can enjoy and take your time which I really appreciated because I felt like I could sit back and enjoy my drinks! We decided to order the wine flight and were able to choose 3 flavors. I was pleasantly surprised by their options as I've never seen such a variety of fruity options! We decided on the strawberry, mango, and pomegranate. The Strawberry was by far my favorite one. I was really enjoying taking slow sips and sitting in the shade with great company. The server actually came out before we even asked and poured us the next glass of the mango. The mango was also good but strong aftertaste. We got so wrapped in conversation that we forgot about our third glass, which was the pomegranate. The pomegranate was a little too bitter for my liking but I had a good little buzz going so in other words, I chugged it anyways lol. My sister in law had actually purchased two bottle of her favorite one and gifted us one of the Mango bottles. We plan on ordering a few bottles from this place for our wedding! read more

I sure wish there was a 0 on the rate chart, or, even a negative? I'd surely give it one. A few of us local ladies went there for a birthday celebration after a little local shopping. It was our first stop for a beverage, also, the first time for all but one of us. There were 6 of us total, shared 1 bottle of bubbles, 1 person had a beer, and one a mimosa. We ordered appetizers, spinach dip and the large charcuterie. We each asked for water, little did we know that was $1.00 ea. That might have been our fault, we didn't look at the menu for the price of water and it wasn't mentioned when we requested it? All went well until we asked for our check. WOW, that was evidently a problem. We were asked to give a credit card and that she would run it and we could hash it out for "splitting" afterwards. Two problems with this: 1) When we ordered, 1 person said she would pay for the drinks, and 1 said she would pay for the food. The server said "okay" and took the orders. 2) They would not present a bill before we paid? How does that even happen? Bottom line, the owner rudely told us they don't split bills and that she wouldn't give us the bill, she would give us a receipt. When we didn't want to pay before seeing the check, she yelled at us that we were obviously drinking, needed to pay and leave. Remember, this was the first stop for refreshments after shopping. The owner was extremely rude, the server super sweet. Needless to say, we won't be back. One of us owns a local hospitality business, others work in hospitality. We support local businesses, not this one, and we'll tell any tourists coming into our businesses to avoid this establishment at all costs. There are plenty more friendly local businesses that would love the opportunity to serve you! Pop The Bubbly owner, do better, try harder, be kind. read more

Pop the Bubbly has always been one of my favorite places to visit in Murphys, until this past weekend. Everything was great until it was time to check out and pay. We had a group of 5 of us and thus, gratuity was automatically added to each of our individual tabs, which was fine. I wanted to purchase 3 bottles in addition to my tasting fee and when I realized my gratuity was calculated off my total bill including 3 bottles, I questioned it - as the gratuity should have been calculated from my tasting fee only. The owner, Mandi, agreed, apologized, and tried to try and fix the issue - while she also dropped multiple F-bombs and for "F!@K sakes" about the point-of-sale system. This is when things went sideways. After two incorrect charges to my card and two charge reversals, I asked for a copy of the receipt for the second charge reversal for my records, so I could reconcile the charges in a few days with my bank. Mandi began speaking to me as if I was a 4-year-old child, with her voice raised, pointing at the screen and she kept repeating "Do you understand? Do you understand?" She kept repeating herself, pointing at the screen, reading the charges out loud and her tone was downright rude. I was so embarrassed as I glanced around the room and saw the other patrons were all just watching this scene take place. After she barked at me for the 5th time, "Do you understand?" I told her "Please do not talk to me like that and stop being rude to me. I understand what you are saying, I simply want a copy of the receipt for the second charge reversal." She said she gave me the receipt, which I showed her I did not have. I only had two receipts, one for the first charge reversal and the original sales receipt - I still do not have the receipt for the second charge reversal. Mandi started in again about me "not understanding." I looked at her husband and co-owner David with a look of frustration and he just stood there...doing absolutely nothing to help diffuse the situation. My friends and I were in complete shock at how this situation was being handled and the condescending and unprofessional way in which Mandi was speaking to me. I wanted to just walk out and not purchase anything at this point, however, given the current issue with the other 2 charge reversals, I did not want to add a 3rd charge reversal into the mix by returning the bottles I'd already been charged for. Mandi then told me she wanted me to walk away with a good experience, so she waived my $10 tasting fee and gave me an additional 10% off the bottles I'd purchased. I will have to wait and see if these charges were done properly in a few days. I don't believe that Mandi was intentionally trying to be condescending, disrespectful, and rude - which makes the whole experience even worse because she clearly has no idea how condescending and rude her behavior actually was. As a business owner in the service industry, talking to customers like this and dropping F-bombs is never acceptable! A few hours later my friends and I were still downtown shopping and bumped into an employee of Pop the Bubbly, who happened to be onsite during the debacle I experienced earlier in the day. This employee made a point to stop and apologize to me for the humiliating and rude treatment I had experienced. This employee said they were mortified with how the entire situation was handled, and with how rude and disrespectful the owner treated me. Overall, super disappointed, and as much as I've always liked Pop the Bubbly, not sure I will return. read more

This place came recommended and we should have just gotten a special drink and been done with it. Instead we got an over priced flights. We each got one ($16 each) but there were others more costly than that. These tasting prices are NOT waived with purchase. The champagne was good but even that is pricey and since the tasting fee wasn't waived we left without a take home. Disappointing after the recommendation we had heard. read more
