Was craving a mimosa and was pleased to find this little spot just down the road from where we were staying! I had the most delicious spicy mango mimosa! It had fresh mango juice and just the right amount of kick! I love that they do mimosa cocktails here. It's a nice change of pace to switch it up from wine every now and then! The rim had tajin and the owner didn't skimp on it and even added some in the drink since I told her I love it ! She said she was inspired to make it after a Bloody Mary she had during the pandemic. The owner was super funny and sweet; she made our time tasting much more enjoyable because she was having a good time too! I can't wait to come back to try the other mimosas next time... Love sparkling wine (doesn't everyone) and was excited about trying wines we wouldn't normally find or taste. Two of us got the $22 "flight" which was not the most expensive, but almost. We got 1/3 of a flute three times, in other words, one flute (not glass) of wine, total. It was a selection of mediocre wines you could buy at a large grocery store. No "real" champagne, just a French Cremant, a Cava, and a Prosecco. So for $44 we got one flute, and there is the tip. Also, there was a sign on the register that said 3% added if a credit card was used. My wife used a debit card and was still charged 3%. When she disputed the charge, since it came straight from her account with no charges to Pop the Bubbly, the staff basically shrugged their shoulders. So $60+ for one flute of sparkly meh. While the shop is super cute, visitors should know that there is an automatic 18% gratuity for one person or 20 and that gratuity is also applied to retail in addition to the tasing. Very cute spot just at the end of Main St. A nice place to enjoy some bubbles and sparkling wine. They have a decent selection of sparkling wine from around the world as well as flavored and Rose wines. They have a few snacks but we enjoyed the small charcuterie board which was decent and filled the need for a snack. I wouldn't say that it was the best charcuterie board I've had. The only weird thing is that their menu has flights on there but if you're sitting outside or you are there during peak hours, they don't offer flights. It would be better if that their menu's don't include the flights and offer a separate menu to patrons who are eligible to order flights. The flights are the first thing on the front page of the menu and it's very misleading. read more

Don't even deserve one star. We asked to order and in return were scolded and the bartender walked away. A proper response could have been "we will be right with you" There is no excuse for the behavior of the workers here. This was extremely uncomfortable and judging by some of the other reviews here, it seems as though this is a pattern. When we complained to another server, she said it would be a good idea if we left. Gladly and never to return. My advice for anyone who comes upon this place. Just leave. They suck. And in response the owner's review, no we were not impatient and no we didn't try to "jump" in front of two tables. The people who arrived after us were served before us because they were white. And have you ever heard of the words "we will be right with you"? If anyone caused a scene it was you. This is not a way to treat customers. There's no shortage of other wineries or bars in Murphy who would happily accommodate us respectfully, regardless of being busy. And judging by how quickly you responded to my Yelp review, it would seem that you have plenty of time and aren't as overwhelmed as you claimed to be. Menu says 'Non-peak hours', but we went on a Sunday early afternoon, and they poured me three tastes, so maybe it just depends on how busy they are. This place was great, because my husband is not a sparkling person, so he could have his beer and didn't have to watch me drink my wines. Really friendly and accommodating staff. They have both indoor and patio seating. We sat indoors just because it was quite hot yesterday. This is the perfect place to stop and recharge. A group of us, including a local, stopped in for a drink during this year's Irish Day celebration. The town was packed, and everyone was having a great time. We were lucky to get 4 seats at the bar, but sadly, the owner was the one to serve us and she was snippy from the beginning. We ordered our bubbly and were served promptly, but our experience continued to decline as we tried to order another round of drinks. The other, nice, server near us explained that she had 6 drinks ahead of us, and we understood because it was extremely busy. But after waiting for 20 minutes and seeing people that had just walked up to the bar get served, I was hopeful when the owner came back down to our end of the bar. But then she proceeded to engage the people that had just walked up to the bar behind me. When I spoke up, and told her that we had been waiting for 20 minutes to place our order, instead of being kind and helping us, she yelled at me about how busy they were and literally dismissed me and continued to take the order of the people behind me. Yes, they were busy (and I was a server for many years so I know what it's like), but to receive such rude service from the owner was unacceptable. I promptly left and will never come back. I refuse to financially contribute to such a horrible person. I gave 2 stars instead of one because the spicy mango mimosa was amazing. Too bad the owner doesn't know how to treat people and after reading other Yelp reviews, it appears that her attitude wasn't just because it was busy, but that she always runs hot. Every other establishment we went to was great and people, including another restaurant owner we spoke with, were very friendly. Since my original visit, I have been a few more times. Each time I brought friends or family. I have been delighted to see their growth, even during covid. Their menu options have increased, their staff is growing, and it's great to see. Yes, you can buy these champagnes in store, but where else do they offer champagne tasting, from bottles you would never think to purchase? The staff is friend and do their best to remain as attentive as possible. They do have outdoor seating and can occasionally get a little when it's busy. A must-do stop when you're visiting Murphys! We were grateful it wasn't super crowded, but this place was busy on a warm summer weekend out and about in town. They have a little nook upstairs perhaps for members or reservations, but we were seated at the larger tables down below for our group. They have a few seating options but I would say the high bar tables were good but the chairs weren't as comfortable being a woman with a big butt. I almost felt like I was falling over, not sure if it was the champagne or the chair actually. A few of us got flights, which had really nice pours, and you can't share flights you only get one glass. And a few of us just got one glass knowing in advance what they wanted. The tasting if you're not driving is a great option, the ones we tried on it were all good and you can really recognize the difference in champagnes based on the notes and the regions of the flavor. We also ordered food, which was all very good and tasty. There was just a moment when we expressed someone from our group had a nut allergy, but the nuts on the charcuterie board weren't separated. Service overall was pleasant, all the ladies were really sweet and nice at this location. The decor is very fitting of the theme, compared to other tasting rooms we visited I would say there's opportunity to offer more Pop The Bubbly swag. Even the napkins were cute. I am so happy that I was able to get some wine tasting in this summer even during COVID! I am a huge fan of wine but also very picky. Not that I know crap about wine I just red wine! LOL. So, when my sister in law told me about this place and the different options they had, I was sold! We walked in to a small lobby that lead to their outdoor patio area. They had seats already set up in the shade so you can enjoy and take your time which I really appreciated because I felt like I could sit back and enjoy my drinks! We decided to order the wine flight and were able to choose 3 flavors. I was pleasantly surprised by their options as I've never seen such a variety of fruity options! We decided on the strawberry, mango, and pomegranate. The Strawberry was by far my favorite one. I was really enjoying taking slow sips and sitting in the shade with great company. The server actually came out before we even asked and poured us the next glass of the mango. The mango was also good but strong aftertaste. We got so wrapped in conversation that we forgot about our third glass, which was the pomegranate. The pomegranate was a little too bitter for my liking but I had a good little buzz going so in other words, I chugged it anyways lol. I sure wish there was a 0 on the rate chart, or, even a negative? I'd surely give it one. A few of us local ladies went there for a birthday celebration after a little local shopping. It was our first stop for a beverage, also, the first time for all but one of us. There were 6 of us total, shared 1 bottle of bubbles, 1 person had a beer, and one a mimosa. We ordered appetizers, spinach dip and the large charcuterie. We each asked for water, little did we know that was $1.00 ea. That might have been our fault, we didn't look at the menu for the price of water and it wasn't mentioned when we requested it? All went well until we asked for our check. WOW, that was evidently a problem. We were asked to give a credit card and that she would run it and we could hash it out for "splitting" afterwards. Two problems with this: 1) When we ordered, 1 person said she would pay for the drinks, and 1 said she would pay for the food. The server said "okay" and took the orders. 2) They would not present a bill before we paid? How does that even happen? Bottom line, the owner rudely told us they don't split bills and that she wouldn't give us the bill, she would give us a receipt. When we didn't want to pay before seeing the check, she yelled at us that we were obviously drinking, needed to pay and leave. Remember, this was the first stop for refreshments after shopping. The owner was extremely rude, the server super sweet. Needless to say, we won't be back. One of us owns a local hospitality business, others work in hospitality. We support local businesses, not this one, and we'll tell any tourists coming into our businesses to avoid this establishment at all costs. We each got one ($16 each) but there were others more costly than that. These tasting prices are NOT waived with purchase.
