Amazing service! I called Geico and Geico called Pop-A-Lock. Geico said it would be 1:30 hours before they came and gave me a number to call if I needed to talk to them. In the meantime, while I waited, I read the reviews on yelp. I saw a few bad ones that mentioned time issues and phone service issues. These are issues that are out of control of the company so I got ready to wait for the 1:30 minutes. I was very surprised and delighted that Pop-A-Lock called me within 10 minutes and completed the service in 15 minutes. PLEASE READ BEFORE CALLING THIS COMPANY: I am not sure who they paid to get as many stars as they have on YELP, but if I could give negative stars to this company I would. You should avoid using this company at all costs. I called this company when I got locked out of my apartment because they were on my condos call/recommended list. The technician came and had difficulty picking the lock. He broke three of his picks inside the knob, therefore, when I tried to use my key again it would not work. I paid the fee and gave a 30% tip because I wanted to pay the technician for his time. However, I felt as a company, they should at least replace or compensate for the new knob I had to buy. Therefore, I called the company to request that and instead they sent me back to the technician who said that he would come to replace the lock again. Since our key no longer worked for the knob, the technician, had to try and pick our lock again and instead he jammed his whole body into my door, without confirming that the deadbolt was unlocked, and as a result broke my entire door frame. When he tried to then replace the knob, he said it was the wrong one, and he wouldn't be able to do it. Therefore, he took the knob with him and left me with a HOLE in my door where the knob usually is. Two days later I called the company again, and was transferred to a manager with a Colorado number, to explain to him that I still had a hole in my door and to ask for a solution to this mess. Instead of listening or offering any sort of solution, he kept saying that he had been a locksmith for 20+years and that I was a "crazy lady" for asking for a refund and some sort of solution or replacement of my knob. He also said that I "shouldn't lose my keys", which coming from a locksmith seems a little absurd because if that were the case he would be out of business. The real kicker after all of this was that he hung up on me FOUR TIMES and on the last call when I called him back he said "dont ever call this number again" and to lose his number. Keep in mind this was the MANAGER. Apparently this is the kind of solution and customer service oriented person that pop-a-lock hires. I also learned that the company is contracted out to the mainland (Colorado) to another company, therefore, if you ever have anything happen that you need to speak to a manager for, you likely will not be able to speak to anyone, and if you do, you will be hung up on, called a crazy lady, gaslighted, screamed at, and then left with a hole in your door! DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. I plan to make a BBB report and hope that this company seizes to exist! read more

If I could give this review no stars, I would. My story starts at around 5 a.m. . I called for a locksmith. The person who answered was shorts and interrupted me with questions when I was telling her what I needed. She then told me the locksmith would be available in 45 minutes. She also told me that the locksmith will call me in a few minutes to get my location, although I had given her the location already. So after 15 minutes I called back because no one is called me. The customer service rep told me that the locksmith was on a previous call but to wait patiently for the locksmith. After 45 minutes I call back. The same customer service rep told me that the locksmith isn't available until 8 a.m. . I was angry at that point. I asked her why didn't she tell me that when I first called. She said that they just told her that. I then heard from her that the locksmith attempted to call me but received no answer. So now they're unavailable until 8 am. I told her that was impossible since I was waiting by the phone and called 30 minutes prior. I requested to speak to a supervisor and I was hung up on. I called back and I was hung up on again. One side spoke to or supposed supervisor, she told me there was nothing she could do because locksmith isn't available until 8 a.m. . I told her in the future please teach your customer service reps to be better customer service reps and informed customers of possible delays. I was hung up on again. Worst service ever! Very quick response time and professional. Rated 4 stars because price was so expensive and it was just very simple to do, you could just buy the lock kit online and just have 1 for yourself. $150 just to get the door open on the corner of it and have a little pump patch just to have a opening and a hanger wire like material just to pull the lever. I just wished it was cheaper and reasonable, like reasons why it was that much. At least can get your money back from insurance if you have coverage for that. My car was not locked, I had helped a Elderly who locked her car and assisted her while on the job. My job has liabilities so I could not assist to open, if I did I could lose my job. But if I was off the clock I would have helped her save $150. But overall from experience, they are good just price wise. read more

I got assigned to them from my insurance company and I waited an hour on the side of H2 I called to see about the eta for my service it was around 10pm at night and I'm pregnant I needed to use the restroom badly the operator said another 30 mins and if I had any questions to call my insurance company I ended up pulling the spare tire out of my car and somebody saw me taking a tire off pulled over and helped me put it on...I called the company back the operator told me they're still coming and said to call my insurance company if I wanna cancel and hung up on me right after they didn't answer the phone when I called back I'm reporting it to my insurance company just in case they still try to charge for a service someone else completed. read more

Short story: Pop a lock is awesome. Kaimi is even more awesome. Quick, like ninja quick, and super friendly! Use their services. Long story: I get locked out of my 2012 Mercedes. Agh!!!!! Ummm so here's the timeline. I get locked out of my car at 2:05 pm, start panicking, called my husband and he asks me where my spare key is. I tell him I don't have a current working one! So he tells me I need to call Mercedes because they should have some kind of service or roadside assistance right? NOPE! Mercedes tells me to call AAA. I call AAA, and you need membership! No one in my family has membership. So I yelp, and blessings locksmiths shows up! They have good ratings, & the lady that answers was really nice, so I tell her all my info, she assures me that someone will get back to me and that it should be 30-45 minutes. Phew I can breathe. Nope, just kidding, 3 minutes later I get a text from David, one of their locksmiths that he's stuck in town, backed up with other cars, and can't come to where I am, and that Mercedes are almost impossible to unlock!! Well shucks!!! There goes my ability to breath and be calm again. However -- the most awesome thing they did was recommend POP A LOCK!! I immediately call POP A LOCK, and the lady who answered was so sweet; gave me the price right up front without my insurance, and it was a reasonable price! This is where knowing your debit card by memory is gold. My bag was in the car and I had nothing on me-- no ID, no $$, sooooo I told them my card number by memory, and they need a card in order to process the service. I told them where I was and they said they'd get to me in an hour. Alright, understandable, I'll go hang out with my sister. My sister picks me up 2 minutes and as soon as we turn into her home, KAIMI calls me and tells me he can get to me in a minute! Godsend! Had I not called when I did, it would've been a bust. Not even 3 minutes later, KAIMI has my car unlocked, and I was good to go. Ugh but not quite. He has to check your ID & confirm that thats what you told the receptionist and of course, that it's YOUR car he just helped you unlock! Makes sense. The service was fast. The service was awesome. My car's tire went flat and was seized , I called Geico to try to roadside assistance, at 8 pm, they had a scheduled of 60 minute wait time , the pop a lock representative showed up TWO HOURS later , after that he looked at my tire and said " what do you want me to do about it ". He didn't offer any help or suggestions and I'm still stuck where I'm at , not to mention his vehicle stenched of marijuana. Pop-a-lock was the company dispatched from geico for my roadside car service when my vehicle decided it didn't want to start. Was given a quote of 60 min. Hour goes by, nothing. 90 min, nothing. Called and was told new eta would be another 30 min (so 2 hours in total). Long story short, waited a total of 3 hours and they never showed up. Geico ended up dispatching another company who was able to come in 25 minutes. Very very disappointed with my experience. read more

I locked my keys in my car and was able to go through my insurance app and get a locksmith booked without even talking to anyone it was that easy. Kyle called me within minutes to let me know he was leaving pearl city and was on his way to meet me in Kaneohe. I had to have my brother take me home because I had groceries and my 11 month old with me and I only live down the street to the store where I had locked myself out. Kyle called again while I was home and I explained that I need to run home and I was on my way back. He kindly told me not to worry and he understood. When I got back he was there and not even 2 min he got it open!
