    My pool stop experience was great. Everything except cleanup was done on time . No quality issues and I'm very happy with my experience. I would recommend pool stop for your swimming pool projects. This pool is 37 x16 with 7.5 deep end with concrete and precast around it. The cost was $103,000 and I am happy. The timeline was July 11 to putting water in September 8th. The Buildertrend app made everything easy for the schedule.

    My pool purchase with Pool Stop was the best experience I have ever had with any kind of contractor. From the planning stage to post build support they have been OUTSTANDING. Planning: Great process. They took my basic idea and made it into a garden of Eden. They matched the price and quality on items that I found better deals on and what other contractors had bid. Their build software was very accurate and let me tweak my plans very easily. I took full advantage fo this and they never batted an eye to fulfill my vision. There suggested changes all made sense and saved me a lot of money. Build: The project manager (Travis) was outstanding. They use the Co-construct app to update progress/planning during the entire construction, it was a real peace of mind knowing exactly what was going on. They addressed every concern I had. I didn't like how the coping looked, they actually came out, pulled the coping they had done and re-did it to my satisfaction. No arguing, no negotiating, they just wanted to make sure I was happy (BTW it came out perfect). The pool is an object of perfection, attention to detail is amazing. There was the typical periods of never ending rain that delayed construction, but the build was still completed very close to the deadline. Post Construction Support: They have been on top of the water quality, and some minor bleaching I had on my tan deck. I use them for my pool service and they have been very professional and maintain a high standard. Everyone seems eager to make sure you are a satisfied customer. Overall I HIGHLY recommend Pool Stop. From start to finish I couldn't of asked for a more professional and customer friendly experience. The workmanship is super high quality and the final product met all of our extremely high expectations. You will not regret hiring them to build your dream pool.

    My husband and I designed our pool with Pool Stop in August 2020. We were told it would take approximately 2-3 months from start to finish. Pool Stop took 8 months! We had hiccups after hiccups. The whole process was awful from beginning to end. Pool Stop was very unorganized. It started with the permit runner (Robyn). There was miscommunication with Pool Stop and the City of Rowlett. We had to call the City of Rowlett ourselves numerous times, and they informed us Pool Stop failed to submit the proper permits to the city and it delayed our building process. It took Pool Stop 3 months to get our permits completed because they were always missing a document, a design or a drawing. We followed up with Rae (construction coordinator) and she re-assured us everything was being taken care of, but it still took months before they submitted and approved our permits. Turns out, Pool Stop had been sending documents to the wrong email! During the design phase they surveyed our property to meet city requirements. We designed our pool with Landon. We designed exactly what we wanted. Turns out they surveyed our backyard wrong. We had to make multiple adjustments when we met our project manager (Victor). We had multiple elevation changes, which changed our decking design, number and location of stairs, hot tub elevation, etc. We ended up with a retaining wall, which we spent hours avoiding in the design phase. Landon completely oversold our building process. He told us our decking/coping selections were rarely picked so we should have no problem securing them, when in reality, the coping was back ordered and the decking was discontinued. There was also an outdoor kitchen in our project, which is obviously not Pool Stop's area of expertise considering it took weeks to find out if we could even run a gas line to where we wanted the grill. It took several more weeks to get the gas line permitted because Landon apparently forgot to include that part in the plans, which resulted in a surprise fee as well. This had our entire project on hold and we couldn't start the pool due to concerns that we might have to tear up all the decking depending on the gas line.During the construction phase, we had multiple change orders like concrete pumps, gas installation, and other things that weren't accounted for in our contract. Pool Stop should have had everything accounted for since they're building the pool from start to finish. They knew exactly what we were building, yet our budget kept increasing because they didn't account for certain things that should have been added in our budget to begin with. Our project manager (Victor) was good - at least honest compared to the rest of the Pool Stop personnel - but our whole project was unorganized. A lot of the problems we encountered seemed like they could have been avoided with a little forethought and attention to detail. It was easy to see Pool Stop was overwhelmed with the number of projects they committed to. The coping (Princess White) was back ordered. The decking (Turkish Carrera) was discontinued. We kept getting bad news throughout the building process. When they finally installed the decking, we found multiple cracks on the pavers. The decking was cracked/chipped on several areas and had large gaps between the coping and the decking. We paid a premium price for the stone selection, but it didn't feel like we got our money's worth with the poor workmanship. Pool Stop didn't order enough material, so yet again our project got pushed back. It was one thing after another. None of our material was ordered in a timely manner and we had to wait months before Pool Stop went onto the next stage. At one point we gave up and figured we'd stop complaining because it did nothing for us, but disappoint us for the day. We gave up on the timelines and weekly updates. Our project is finally done (8 months later) and Pool Stop has yet to come back and replace the cracked pieces. Overall, we wish Pool Stop would have been transparent from the beginning. We're disappointed with the quality of work/disorganization.

    I'll be really honest, I am new here and this is the only pool company I have worked with... but I have to admit that I feel like they really give that level of customer care that I'm looking for. My pool had some things that needed to be fixed but I had no idea because I have not been at the property very long. They fixed the problems that happened because the previous owner was negligent on their pool maintenance (and Pool Stop didn't charge me an arm and a leg). I called the manager today to thank him for fixing the problems with my pool and being such a pleasure to work with. You can just tell that he genuinely cares about his customers. I know if I ever need anything they will be there to help. *This picture was taken today! I honestly had never seen my pool so clear and pretty...

    Entire decking has been uneven like this.. 5 attempts later. The standard for lippage is 1/32" or it is a tripping hazard....

I had my first pool built in Wylie and the process went well. There was an issue with decorative glass tiles being forgotten on the steps but this was corrected after the pool was built and filled. They also damaged my fence but paid to have it repaired. So that experience was good 4+ stars. My second pool was built in Farmers Branch and it's like a whole different experience. My pool has had leaks like crazy. I do have a lifetime warranty on the shell so each time I request a leak check they send someone but they do tell me that if no leak is detected then I will have to pay for the service. Well each time there has been a leak. My skimmers leaked, as did my main drain. Well the skimmer box was fixed and the main drain was "fixed" but in the process they cross treaded the screws that hold the main drain cover in place. So I keep texting their service company and they say they will send someone out (usually no one shows) this has been going on for close to a year. The main drain leak was detected the middle of 2023 and the cover hasn't been fixed since then. In addition my spa grout needed to be replaced after just 2 years this wasn't covered under the shell warranty but the guy who did replace it said it looked like it was very thin (too much water) when it was done so it just dissolved over time. All of my LED pool lights went out and had to be replaced this past year- so they lasted 4 years not sure if that is good or not. But it wasn't cheap to replace them. Overall this experience with this pool has been nothing short of horrible and while I felt I got great service the first time around this time I can't get anyone to fix or follow up on issues. Very disappointing, I had recommend and suggested Hobert to many of my coworkers, friends and neighbors but from now on I will not. Update 6/28/24 They sent someone out and so far (2 weeks of using the robot cleaner but no one has gone swimming yet) the cover has remained on.

Tim came out and was super awesome! He went through all aspects of my system and explained everything to us clearly. Also appreciate that he was honest and forthright, and didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary products. It's getting more and more difficult to find honest service companies these days. I have Hobert in my contact list and they'll be the first to hear from me when/if I need help

No one cares at the store seems interested to dig in and find out where my part is . Getting NO help from the store . Called Customer service first call led to no where . After 2 hours they call me back with no help to resolve this and would get a call back . It's August 10th All i want is a refund and no one seems to be able to provide this for me. I will say though, when she wasn't there during my last visit I left disappointed. I wasn't acknowledged when I came into the store or even when I was standing in line. The employee was helping someone but you can look up and say I will be right with you or something. The lady in front of me was taking quite a while and while I was waiting a customer who was way more important than I just cut in front of me in line. Now I have a hard time believing the employee didn't see me standing in line behind the lady even if I was several feet away from her( social distancing) The employee then rang him up before me. I was pretty perturbed but I try not to let self absorbed people get to me. Rockwall is full of these people so I guess I am just used to them. I got my water tested and he printed a report and I was on my way. With summer coming they may want to consider having two people and not try to save a few bucks. While I was getting my water tested, the employee did help a gentleman who was looking for a particular item. I've come to expect bad service from Leslies so until something else opens closer I will keep coming here because I am a glutton for punishment.
