Initially, your team was very helpful, which gave us confidence in continuing to work with you. However, that confidence quickly faded after we began discussing a quote for refinishing the pool surface and installing a chiller/heater. I first spoke with Landon, who provided an estimate for the refinishing and mentioned the chiller/heater option--something we were interested in pursuing. Landon later sent over a quote of $4,000 for the chiller/heater installation, which we agreed to move forward with via text. Unfortunately, it took nearly three days to receive a response. When the revised quote finally arrived, the price had increased by $527, but we were still willing to proceed. I requested an itemized quote to better understand the breakdown of costs. Despite clearly explaining what I was asking for, we never received a proper itemized estimate--only a single total amount, even after multiple follow-ups. At this point, frustration was growing. I even texted Landon asking if it's always this difficult to do business with Pool Stop, which prompted a call and apology from him. He mentioned that Harvey, the owner, would visit the property for a site review. Harvey came by, inspected the setup, and said he would provide a final quote the next day. Five days passed with no update. When Harvey finally did call, the final price was $5,177, nearly 25% higher than the original quote. At that point, we decided not to move forward, as the inconsistencies and lack of communication left us with serious concerns about Pool Stop's professionalism and reliability. As someone with decades of experience in sales, I've always believed in standing by a quoted price, even if a mistake was made. The way this process was handled felt disorganized, unprofessional, and misleading. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Pool Stop to others. I hope this feedback helps your company identify where communication and accountability can be improved for future customers.

Tile was pre-paid, coping was selected and contract was signed. There were some issues with setting and managing expectations up front but in the end, we are happy with the final product. It is 4/28/22 and pool coping, tile and plaster are complete. We had a 4 month wait and it took 1 month to get the job done. There were a few unexpected expenses during the project but that is to be expected for a project like this. By the time the project was complete we ended up paying roughly 20% more than the quoted amount. Also, we had to choose different coping as the one we originally chose was no longer available due to supply chain issues. There are a lot of shortages going on right now. Workers and supplies. This is not a fault of Blue Escapes, these are just the times now and unfortunately, we along with Blue Escapes were caught in it. This along with price hikes on everything (plaster, tile, etc.) which we weren't charged extra for. Blue Escapes uses quality workers. Watching them lay the tile and take their time with each tile they laid just solidified why it takes a while to complete these remodels. The owner is an honest man who is a wealth of knowledge. Bob (the owner) came out to ensure each step was completed to his satisfaction.

    It's sad that I to have to leave a negative review about this company. I have had two ENTIRELY…read moredifferent experiences with Hobert pools. I had my first pool built in Wylie and the process went well. There was an issue with decorative glass tiles being forgotten on the steps but this was corrected after the pool was built and filled. They also damaged my fence but paid to have it repaired. So that experience was good 4+ stars. My second pool was built in Farmers Branch and it's like a whole different experience. My pool has had leaks like crazy. I do have a lifetime warranty on the shell so each time I request a leak check they send someone but they do tell me that if no leak is detected then I will have to pay for the service. Well each time there has been a leak. My skimmers leaked, as did my main drain. Well the skimmer box was fixed and the main drain was "fixed" but in the process they cross treaded the screws that hold the main drain cover in place. So I keep texting their service company and they say they will send someone out (usually no one shows) this has been going on for close to a year. The main drain leak was detected the middle of 2023 and the cover hasn't been fixed since then. In addition my spa grout needed to be replaced after just 2 years this wasn't covered under the shell warranty but the guy who did replace it said it looked like it was very thin (too much water) when it was done so it just dissolved over time. All of my LED pool lights went out and had to be replaced this past year- so they lasted 4 years not sure if that is good or not. But it wasn't cheap to replace them. Overall this experience with this pool has been nothing short of horrible and while I felt I got great service the first time around this time I can't get anyone to fix or follow up on issues. Very disappointing, I had recommend and suggested Hobert to many of my coworkers, friends and neighbors but from now on I will not. Update 6/28/24 They sent someone out and so far (2 weeks of using the robot cleaner but no one has gone swimming yet) the cover has remained on.

Tim came out and was super awesome! He went through all aspects of my system and explained everything to us clearly. Also appreciate that he was honest and forthright, and didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary products. It's getting more and more difficult to find honest service companies these days. I have Hobert in my contact list and they'll be the first to hear from me when/if I need help
