Fragrance glues itself to plastic and then imparts its chemical goodness to everything it touches. You carry food items people actually eat. Fragrance has no place being anywhere in this store. The restrooms, and a back office, are perhaps the only exception, but they're bad for you anyway, so just get rid of it. To be fair, I've bought bread and other items packaged in plastic from Kroger and other stores with the same issue. Fragrance is everywhere, and we're eating it, and I'm sure it's doing bad things to us.

The main challenge was navigating around the curbside shoppers, due to their big (width and height) carts. A necessary evil, I guess. Giveaways, samples, and friendly staff were a welcome sight. Ya'll PLEASE be kind to the store associates! I'll be back when the newness wears off. Luckily the Forney location opens in early 2026, so there will be two options for the main and neighboring towns.

I never got a solid plan, they hard-sold me high, promising we would reduce it, just to make me sign the contract. (my first mistake) Of course, those meetings to discuss my priorities and reduce the budget, never came. My dream wasn't realized as they either vetoed, forgot or bumbled each feature of my design. Examples: I have a wavy wall, it took them days to correct the paint throughout the house, they flat refused to match my craftsman trim, they forgot my vented kitchen hood, vetoed my transom (they don't even know what that is), failed plumbing inspection three times and nearly blew up my house. (I'm not embellishing) Had to install the cabinets twice (ordered incorrectly and hung at the wrong height), the rough plumbing is so poorly done that the knobs don't sit right and turn lop-sided; failed to contain the renovation dust which covered even stuff inside cabinets and drawers throughout the house. The cleaning crew came multiple times and I still had to hire my own at a cost of $360, to get all the ceiling fans, fixtures, floors, etc. finally clear of dust and paint splatters. They scratched my hardwoods and damaged my stove. To top it off, they stopped paying the subs and one of them put a lien on my house, EVEN though, i was up to date on my payment arrangement. (Yes, that's totally legal, for some reason!) The drama continues as I need help correcting some issues that i don't feel I should have to live with. We had some unique requests based on the uniqueness of our home and it never phased Michael. He was always communicating to us when workers were coming and always checked in either by dropping by or by phone. We live in Rockwall county so it's a bit out of the way but he would come multiple times a week. Dallas Bath and Glass are fantastic…read more 2 years ago, in early 2023, a cleaning service broke one of the glass doors on our shower. We called Dallas Bath and Glass out and they gave us an estimate. The estimator was extremely thorough, and I was impressed with his knowledge and methods compared to competitors. Although their prices were fair (we had 3 estimates done), we had to wait because a short time later a storm did major damage to our roof. Although I decided they were the right company for the job, we had to put our resources to bear on the storm damage; fights with insurance delayed everything. Fast forward to 2025, and even though time had passed my initial impressions brought me back to calling Dallas Bath and Glass out again. The estimator came back out in mid-April and re-did all of the measurements - the original estimate was very similar to the new one and I didn't think there was some crazy gouging of the price or unjustified increases (I did my homework). The price was actually nearly the same. The problem is the door is not standard. It requires some custom work to be done; there is no off the shelf solution. We went ahead with the work. The new glass was built and installed in early June. I could not be happier with the way it came out. The installers were courteous, clean, and provided excellent workmanship. I also want to say that the entire time, communication was fantastic. I was kept informed about timing, and the day of, they were prompt and showed up when they said they would. We have 5 family members coming to visit and staying for a few weeks so my wife wanted a cabinet door remounted and another toilet fixed. I called Willfredo because I didn't want to also call a carpenter. Willfredo said there was no job big or small that he couldn't handle.
