I really like it. There's so much to like. Really good product selection. Very competitive prices. Very good in-house-branded products. Friendly staff. But... get rid of the artificial fragrance in the store! I have bought multiple packages of tortillas now that taste like Glade Plug-Ins. It's disgusting. I assume it's in the plastic. Fragrance glues itself to plastic and then imparts its chemical goodness to everything it touches. You carry food items people actually eat. Fragrance has no place being anywhere in this store. The restrooms, and a back office, are perhaps the only exception, but they're bad for you anyway, so just get rid of it. To be fair, I've bought bread and other items packaged in plastic from Kroger and other stores with the same issue. Fragrance is everywhere, and we're eating it, and I'm sure it's doing bad things to us. read more

I mean, it's H-E-B. What is there to say?! Today is opening day. I intended on getting there early to beat the "after work" crowd. Clearly, I missed the memo that everyone in a 50 mile radius called out sick today. Thank you to the helpful security/officers directing traffic. Honestly, considering the traffic, they did awesome with getting people in and out of the parking lot. The store was surprisingly less crowded than a regular trip to the Plano/Allen location but still buzzing with energy. They had the traditional set-up,with clean aisles and well stocked shelves. The main challenge was navigating around the curbside shoppers, due to their big (width and height) carts. A necessary evil, I guess. Giveaways, samples, and friendly staff were a welcome sight. Ya'll PLEASE be kind to the store associates! I'll be back when the newness wears off. Luckily the Forney location opens in early 2026, so there will be two options for the main and neighboring towns. read more

This store was clean and well stocked. Every staff member I encountered was very helpful. They used their handheld device to help me locate store items. The cash registers were all opened and staffed with a cashier and a bagger. I like that I was able to go to an open register and get fast and friendly service read more

I have tried to like this place, but I can't. I gave it 3 chances. 1- when it 1st opened I went apparently I created the ultimate sin by taking my cart in the BBQ restaurant area, the manager very rudely told me no baskets. I admit I was wrong, but the manager could have been a little more professional. 2- I purchased one their heat & eat meals steak, asparagus & potatoes, it says bake I believe at 350 for 10 minutes, it took well over 30 minutes. Just awful. 3- I purchased a fruit tray with mango, kiwi, strawberries & grapes it "looked" real good. I got it home and the mango tasted like unsweetened wood, the kiwi & strawberries were mushy, but the grapes were decent. The customer service has always been good, except for the a-hole manager on my 1st trip. This store at least for me has been a huge let down read more

Howdy again kids. First off, It is about TIME we got an HEB here. I was clamoring for years for a Central Market; what we got here is CM on steroids! It will take me a long time to see all there is to be seen. It is massive, the staff are incredible, the deli, seafood section and dry-aged beef are impressive. The bakery is bananas. The selection of options is also stellar. There is plenty of parking (they need it). I sorta feel for Kroger and the Brookshire Fresh, they are in proximity hope at this point. The location is right off 30 and John King, it's maybe 5 mins more from the Casa, and well, I grew up in CTX. HEB is king. read more

H.E.B BBQ Couldn't be more disappointed in the quality and portion for the $28 price I paid for a 2 meat plate. I received 1 slice of beef that was nothing but fat and 3 super small ribs that were so dry and mostly bone. The taste... nothing to brag about. Zero BBQ flavor. If you're from TX you don't want BBQ that's been cooked in the oven, that's exactly how it taste. I paid so much money only to get home open this sad little container and be extremely disappointed. BTW I waited over 20 minuntes o In the drive through for this ... and only 5 cars ahead of me...NEVER AGAIN. read more

Horrible. Curbside today, First of all arrived at 12:05 pm. A girl Came out to verify the name, Said she would be right back. Then another girl came back with a small cart. i told her i thought she had the wrong order, "she said no we are working on it." Strange, we got a text at 11:42 saying it was ready. She loaded it in and said she would be right back. Little bit later they both came back with a cart and a rack and loaded it all in. Both girls were polite. Got home. We actually drive from Union Valley in Hunt County to Rockwall to go to that specific store. We get home and they had loaded by putting in all the groceries in bags with the heavy items on top. Dr peppers, gallons of milk etc. Not cool but ok. When unloading some of the drinks had leaked out, Brand new Jeep grand cherokee with 972 miles on it. Unload it all and had to wipe off or rinse everything before putting it up. Im livid, and called the store. Get a curbside manager named India on the phone and go over everything with her. She is offering to refund or replace damaged items. Im saying great but Cleaning dr pepper out of the back is gonna cost, plus my time. And now i have to go thru memory and itemize a list, so i just ask for a partial refund of 50 percent. She has to talk to someone and comes back and says sorry cant do that. so i ask for the store manager. puts me on hold then 3 mins later the call hangs up. About 5 mins later my wifes phone rings, it is a man identifying himself as the store manager. He offers her a full refund, we say great, We accept, You saved a customer. I got an email address from him to send pictures which i can provide, and sent them. About 5 mins after that the curbside Manager named Jorge, Now hes telling us no refunds, replacement only. And we have to go get 3 estimates for a detail for the back so he can file with whatever department and wait to hear from them. She just hangs up on him and i call for the STORE MANAGER. Call gets transferred to what sounds like a cell phone, no one says anything and it hangs up. I call back finally get someone who is not the store manager but "one of them", He starts to give me the same B.S. that jorge did. So to recap, Incompetent loading, Damage to groceries, Damage to a brand new Vehicle, With an i could care less attitude from 2 managers. read more

Celeste and natalie were not good at all...THEY WERE AMAZING at the deli side not only were they listening and giving recommendations they were smiling and actually looked like they enjoyed helping customers out I NEVER had an amazing experience at a deli in over a decade definitely coming back and man were they extremely clean and professional! The restaurant's food is greasy! I don't like our names being YELLED to get our food. One of the workers looked so upset to be there. Take that energy elsewhere, and keep it away from food! The tables were dirty. What a let-down. That was our first time at the restaurant, too. Meh. read more

the food is such a good price, the quality looks great, they offer Boars Head deli meat which is also important, they offer coupons & a variety of options for many types of dietary choices. I have no complaints.! the bbq smells sooo amazing upon walking in.! I have yet to try it but just from my experience shopping around I couldn't be any more pleased with all they have to offer.! it's clean & there's space to walk around.! best choice they made putting one there.! read more
