Fragrance glues itself to plastic and then imparts its chemical goodness to everything it touches. You carry food items people actually eat. Fragrance has no place being anywhere in this store. The restrooms, and a back office, are perhaps the only exception, but they're bad for you anyway, so just get rid of it. To be fair, I've bought bread and other items packaged in plastic from Kroger and other stores with the same issue. Fragrance is everywhere, and we're eating it, and I'm sure it's doing bad things to us.

I never got a solid plan, they hard-sold me high, promising we would reduce it, just to make me sign the contract. (my first mistake) Of course, those meetings to discuss my priorities and reduce the budget, never came. My dream wasn't realized as they either vetoed, forgot or bumbled each feature of my design. Examples: I have a wavy wall, it took them days to correct the paint throughout the house, they flat refused to match my craftsman trim, they forgot my vented kitchen hood, vetoed my transom (they don't even know what that is), failed plumbing inspection three times and nearly blew up my house. (I'm not embellishing) Had to install the cabinets twice (ordered incorrectly and hung at the wrong height), the rough plumbing is so poorly done that the knobs don't sit right and turn lop-sided; failed to contain the renovation dust which covered even stuff inside cabinets and drawers throughout the house. The cleaning crew came multiple times and I still had to hire my own at a cost of $360, to get all the ceiling fans, fixtures, floors, etc. finally clear of dust and paint splatters. They scratched my hardwoods and damaged my stove. To top it off, they stopped paying the subs and one of them put a lien on my house, EVEN though, i was up to date on my payment arrangement. (Yes, that's totally legal, for some reason!) The drama continues as I need help correcting some issues that i don't feel I should have to live with. Dallas Bath and Glass are fantastic…read more 2 years ago, in early 2023, a cleaning service broke one of the glass doors on our shower. We called Dallas Bath and Glass out and they gave us an estimate. The estimator was extremely thorough, and I was impressed with his knowledge and methods compared to competitors. Although their prices were fair (we had 3 estimates done), we had to wait because a short time later a storm did major damage to our roof. Although I decided they were the right company for the job, we had to put our resources to bear on the storm damage; fights with insurance delayed everything. Fast forward to 2025, and even though time had passed my initial impressions brought me back to calling Dallas Bath and Glass out again. The estimator came back out in mid-April and re-did all of the measurements - the original estimate was very similar to the new one and I didn't think there was some crazy gouging of the price or unjustified increases (I did my homework). The price was actually nearly the same. The problem is the door is not standard. It requires some custom work to be done; there is no off the shelf solution. We went ahead with the work. The new glass was built and installed in early June. I could not be happier with the way it came out. The installers were courteous, clean, and provided excellent workmanship. I also want to say that the entire time, communication was fantastic. I was kept informed about timing, and the day of, they were prompt and showed up when they said they would. I called Willfredo because I didn't want to also call a carpenter. Willfredo said there was no job big or small that he couldn't handle. NEGATIVE- I recently purchased Microsoft Surface Laptop and it stopped working after two days. Took it back to Best Buy and the Geek Guy wasn't helpful at all and rather dismissive. He ended up saying it would cost me $100 dollars to reboot it... really? I wasn't about to pay more money on a new purchase. I left extremely disappointed to say the least. POSITIVE- Came back the next day, spoke to store manager, got a solution and was in and out in less than 20 min. NEGATIVE- I went in today and as I tried to pay with two printed gift cards they informed me they couldn't use them because they didn't have a barcode. They asked me if I had saved the e-mail where I got the giftcards from, as they were sure there was a link he was supposed to press on with barcode (because my husband is obviously an idiot that can't successfully print giftcards from an e-mail). Unfortunately, my husband likes his inbox empty and, of course, he had deleted it. The man checking me out then questioned me and schooled me on why would anyone delete an email with giftcards before one had actually used them... what if I had lost them? (because I'm obviously an idiot that misplaces giftcards...). There were 3 people that came to assist the guy checking me out (including a store manager) and NOT ONE offered a solution, the store manager even said that since my husband had deleted the e-mail there was nothing he could do to help me. Period, go home and try to fix it ourselves. We will see you soon, when you have giftcards with barcodes on them that we know how to use. NOT ONE suggested I go online to order the stuff for a store pickup and pay with the giftcards so I could walk out with my items. (This occurred to me later, as I was ordering the stuff online and happily paying with the giftcards). They ALL, however, made me feel like I was an idiot, it was MY mistake for not having saved the freaking e-mail and not their mistake for producing useless printable gifcards, and the fact that their answer was "nothing can be done" just infuriated me. I purchased a GE refrigerator from Best Buy, and added their protection plan. My fridge developed cooling issues after the manufacturer warranty expired, but still under BB's protection plan. They sent their Geek Squad out 4 times to effect a repair. They could not fix it. BB then started sending out a 3rd party appliance repair company. I asked over and over again for BB to replace my refrigerator. After a total of 11 visits over 3 MONTHS, they still refuse to replace it. They claim the appliance repair company THEY sent out is withholding repair notes to justify a replacement. I am done with Best Buy, I never set foot inside any of their stores again.
