We found our refrigerator that we have been looking for in the scratch and dent section. It works perfectly and only had a small scratch on the side, where you don't even see it. We got it discounted and we were excited to find it. These refrigerators are sold out everywhere and very hard to find. We were able to get it financed out and was delivered on the day we wanted. The people are so helpful and never pressure you on a sale of something you aren't happy with. They are way more helpful than your local Home Depot or Lowe's for appliances and more knowledgeable. They are definitely worth checking out and you might get lucky at finding exactly what you want in the scratch and dent! We couldn't be happier with all of our appliances we have purchased from them. First of all, people are nice. However, we originally ordered appliances 9 months in advance and was told they were in, went to pay for them and they did not have them. We reordered a new package was told they had all the appliances in stock, paid for them. They sold our refrigerator and now the refrigerator is discontinued. They misrepresentative the product in stock or sold our refrigerator 2 times. Better double check before you trust what they tell you. read more

This company is an absolute God send! All of the employees are extremely nice and professional. At the last minute we were seeking an oven for our Grandparents and they were extremely helpful and ended up giving us a beautiful convection version from their scratch and dent area for a discounted rate. Installation day rolls around and it ends up being too small for the cutout that my Grandparents have. I was in complete panic, but they had a bigger size and went and grabbed that and installed it beautifully for them. My grandma was in tears sending me pictures of the new oven. I do not waste any time or money going anywhere else for appliances or for appliance service. Most importantly, they take the time to explain the features and drawbacks of every product they carry. And unlike big box retailers, they don't always recommend the most expensive unit. Check out their "scratch and dent" section! I got a $1700 dryer for $690. Why was it in the scratch and dent section? Because some lady returned it because she didn't like the color. Score for me! Their prices are great, selection is great, and I can always get delivery the next day. I can also get service within a day or two. I have had three old components serviced in the last two weeks. One was actually at a friends house. They came and fixed everything within a day and the price was very very reasonable. Not only that, but Dave the technician took a great deal of time to explain the inner workings of a problem appliance that was purchased many years ago. He provided recommendation on maintenance, as well as some tips and tricks on how to extend the life of the unit. I could not be happier with North Texas appliance. They are the best. read more

Went here to buy a cook top for propane, was greeted by smiling faces and a warm welcome. Found the price was better than Lowes or Home Depot. Their installer Fred was great. They did not cut corners on anything. Had a down draft installed in our island. Installer adjusted the flame on burners, installed correct jets for propane service. They cleaned up there mess before leaving. Was nice working with local service and dealer. Everything was installed on appointment day and everyone was professional and friendly. Everything fits perfect and works perfect. My advice use hometown local companies. read more

This store is the ONLY appliance retailer that actually stocks cooktops. They also have a fabulous scratch and dent area of brand new appliances that are under warranty and decently priced. I tried for 2 days to buy a cooktop and everybody had to backorder anything priced around $800. Delivery wasn't till April! The sales staff is knowledgeable and attentive. I called NTA on Monday morning about my oven/range not working. They said they could send someone out the next day which worked for me. They said I would get a call between 8-9 a.m. that morning from their service person to actually let me know when he was coming. Keith called before 9 and was at my house on time at 11. He immediately determined it was the oven igniter. He told me how much it was going to cost before any work was done. He had the part available and I gave him the go ahead. Everything took less than 30 minutes. Not only was Keith timely and did a great job, but he was very nice and answered all my questions. I bought a very expensive kitchen aide dishwasher from North Texas Appliance. It does NOT clean my dishes. I make sure there is no dried food when loading. I called within the first month. They sent out someone thinking it was not installed correctly since they did not do the install. It was done right. They told me to use only finish which I already was using. The soap dispenser opens only when it wants to. They will not do anything to help me. I try to buy at small town businesses, but never again. If I had bought at Home Depot, they would have given me a new dishwasher within the first month. Talked to others about this business and I find I am not the only person they have done this to. They sure will take your money but Will not stand behind their product. I would never recommend this place of business to anyone!!! BYER BEWARE!!!!! read more

Why buy anywhere else? Service, selection, and price. It doesn't get any better. We've not been in the area long and initially bought a refrigerator and washer/dryer. Such great prices, super delivery and installation. I was very impressed that they didn't "over-sell." Fast forward a few months and we are finally ready for a few more pieces -- went to the store, ready to buy -- they wouldn't let us. Said they wanted to send their installer by first to measure first. He came by, everything worked -- he even suggested a better idea for a different space. Everything ordered and we are anxiously waiting. Can't recommend them any higher. Great folks -- even their support staff has e-mailed me after hours answering questions. Our garage refrigerator stopped cooling so I called North Texas Appliance to schedule s service call. They said the were booked but referred me to A Rockwall County Appliance Repair who they felt like could provide same day service. I called them and in less than one hour from the original call to North Texas Appliance, the processor board in the refrigerator was replaced and it was cooling again. Really appreciate North Texas Appliance for their honesty and excellent referral of A Rockwall County Appliance Repair. I will definitely work with North Texas Appliance in the future! read more

We have been very regretful of our VERY expensive purchases of Whirlpool large appliances from this vendor. NTAS has been incompetent in repairing the very items that they sell in their showroom. We went through most of July without a working refrigerator, despite three (3) service visits from two (2) repair technicians. They cannot keep technicians on staff and I seriously doubt that they are certified in any of the brands that they sell. Keith told us that the reason we had ice build up in the 3 year old French door was due to . . . wait for it . . . the doors NOT being closed properly! We waited four (4) days for this genius diagnosis. What a joke! When I reported this to the manager, his response was that "Keith is not as experienced with Whirlpool as is David". We then had to wait another week for David to come, purchased a new $400.00 computer board, which took 6 more days to receive. Well, less than two (2) weeks) later, the exact, same problem re-appears. All they could offer was to wait another four (4) days for Keith to come back. He is the only technician that they employ at this time. Even before this HUGE debacle, they could NOT even sell me the proper refrigerator filters when I went to the store in person. I ended up working directly with Whirlpool on both occasions. Sorry NTAS, We've tried very hard to patronize a local vendor, but you are awful to work with. read more
