I had some pretty bad water damage under my kitchen sink and was honestly dreading the process of getting it fixed, but Scott made the process so easy. There was more damage than I originally thought. He calmly assessed the situation, laid out a detailed game plan, and handled it like a pro. He even sourced materials on the fly and kept me updated every step of the way. On top of that, he's super friendly, respectful of your space, and really takes pride in his work. The attention to detail was amazing. Place looked great when he wrapped up, nice and neat. The wife was very pleased. Hire Scott and relax as he is that someone to fix it.

He turned that old nasty dog into a modern contemporary style for less cost than the big company pros but the same quality for sure. For the 1-star reviews, I think there must be some kind of major miscommunication on the client's part bc I never had a single issue we couldn't solve. Will be using him for ongoing maintenance too.

Michael responded to my Yelp request for an estimate to replace our exterior back door. We set an…read moreappointment time, and he came out to inspect the project area and calculate the cost. Michael is very pleasant to work with. My wife and I felt very comfortable choosing him due to his positive attitude, his professionalism and the fact that he really listened to our needs and expectations. We explained that our primary concerns were making sure that the door was properly sealed so that there were no air gaps or places where water could penetrate. I know that some people will read that and think, "Well of course that was your expectation, those points are a given", but stop and think - do you really believe that every handyman takes the time to do a thorough job? They don't. Some do the bare minimum, and often charge you above market price for their shoddy work. Michael@Legit Handyman is the opposite of the "turn and burn Chuck with a truck". He is kind, thorough, and reasonably priced. He takes the time to fix things that were not done properly previously, like sealing unseen areas behind the trim. Another important point is that he doesn't bid on projects that are not his specialty. He doesn't "fake it to make it". If he is not sure that he can leave you satisfied that you got a great value for his service, he will tell you that the project is not something he is comfortable with. We appreciate his honesty and integrity! That said, there are MANY projects that he is comfortable with, and after seeing the quality of his work, we scheduled other work. Again, Michael impressed us with his skill, professionalism, price and kindness. We have scheduled a third project with him. My family really likes Michael. Even though he has customers to get to, he takes the time to talk to our autistic son about the projects. Our son thinks Michael is amazing, and my wife and I agree. I very highly recommend Michael@Legit Handyman. He does amazing work for a great price.

I really appreciated the work Dogan and his team did for my home!…read more I requested multiple quotes when making a determination on home projects I wanted to be taken on. As a female homeowner, I sometimes run into challenges with companies not taking me seriously or overcharging me for services. Dogan did not give me that impression at all, and I can say I am happy with the work that him and his team did! Dogan and his team were kind and helpful. He did not try to upsell me for the work he was performing, and he was very diligent with ensuring that I was comfortable with the work that was being done. They took their time in properly making the repairs around my home. I asked him to work on multiple projects around my home, such as: 1. Exterior wood replacement, repair and paint (multiple areas) 2. Backyard gate repair 3. Garage weather stripping I felt that he was incredibly reasonable for the work him and his team performed, and he was also incredibly responsive to my messages (which I immensely appreciated). He was communicative, which is something that is super important to me, and he seemed to genuinely want to help me. I can provide an updated review to determine if the work his team performed lasts, but I am currently happy with his work, and would definitely reach out to Dogan and his team again for any other future projects!
