Dallas Bath and Glass are fantastic. 2 years ago, in early 2023, a cleaning service broke one of the glass doors on our shower. We called Dallas Bath and Glass out and they gave us an estimate. The estimator was extremely thorough, and I was impressed with his knowledge and methods compared to competitors. Although their prices were fair (we had 3 estimates done), we had to wait because a short time later a storm did major damage to our roof. Although I decided they were the right company for the job, we had to put our resources to bear on the storm damage; fights with insurance delayed everything. Fast forward to 2025, and even though time had passed my initial impressions brought me back to calling Dallas Bath and Glass out again. The estimator came back out in mid-April and re-did all of the measurements - the original estimate was very similar to the new one and I didn't think there was some crazy gouging of the price or unjustified increases (I did my homework). The price was actually nearly the same. The problem is the door is not standard. It requires some custom work to be done; there is no off the shelf solution. We went ahead with the work. The new glass was built and installed in early June. I could not be happier with the way it came out. The installers were courteous, clean, and provided excellent workmanship. I also want to say that the entire time, communication was fantastic. I was kept informed about timing, and the day of, they were prompt and showed up when they said they would. Our shower glass has leaked since it was installed. Patrick has been to our house 3 times now and the shower is still leaking even after ordering and installing an unsightly bar under the glass door. Dallas Bath & Glass did an outstanding job, helping us replace our fogged windows. They are very responsive, have excellent customer service, and price was good. They replaced just the glass portion, which is what we wanted as our windows and frames are still in good shape. (Some places only want to do new windows). The lady that answers the phone and does the scheduling is on top of her game. They were quick to quote and the installers were extremely friendly. Can't recommended them enough. I had a very positive experience. Calls made were always picked up by a person instead of going to voicemail. I received 6 quotes for my project of installing new frameless shower glass and door and they were anywhere from $200 to $1000 lower than other bids. To keep costs down I took the old shower glass and frame out myself, also kept the old tile but re-grouted it. End result looks great and I would recommend Dallas Bath & Glass to friends and neighbors. Family owned business so they are very careful about who they hire to maintaining their reputation. read more

Bathtub to shower conversion - I hired Dallas Bath & Glass to handle my conversion and it went REALLY badly! The shower floor that was tiled had a wave effect to it, that their answer was was to just tile over it! Unacceptable! Finally, they sent a tile layer out to rip it all out and completely re-tile the shower floor. The end result did meet with my approval. The drain, however, was not moved the center of the shower as I was told it would be, and the reason they gave me for this was "you bathe dogs in this shower." They might have been better off saying it's Friday and we don't offer that service on a Friday!?! Made zero sense! The cutouts for holding shampoo, etc. were warped and had to be redone. The end result is a slope that everything slides off of. Three, or four times per shower I am picking bottles off the shower floor. The warp is still visible. There is a substantial dip in the main wall that resulted in the tile being ripped out and redone and the dip is still there and now all the walls are different heights now! Unacceptable! The first time turning on the shower, the shower column flew out of the wall and is now bent. The plumbing was not secured behind the wall and shook violently when running other household appliances that use water. Had to hire someone else to come in and cut through the closet wall to get to the plumbing to secure it. The new shower valve I purchased they tried to install and broke a screw off inside and then tried to hide it by securing the handle on with mastic. Came right off in my hand. They subsequently came out with a new valve but could not figure out the correct position for hot and cold. Finally, after 3 attempts I asked them to leave and hired someone else who resolved the issue in 2 minutes. Shower curb is two inches too short, meaning if the plumbing ever backs up, my bathroom will flood. What really chaps me the most is they knew they were doing crummy work and tried to push it through anyway. They took my money and ran, and the owner doesn't care enough to even try and make good on this. He is in hiding! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DALLAS BATH & GLASS!!! read more

Friendly and helpful discussion during in home estimate. Estimate was easily scheduled. Finished product is high quality. Team took the time to come measure again after tile was installed to be sure that measurements were rock solid. One panel wasn't sized right during installation but the team took had a new piece made until it was right rather than trying to cram an incorrect piece in place. A+ I would've appreciated more active feedback on timelines after they had to have the new piece made. read more
