I bought my granite here for my New house in July. They get…read moretwo stars instead of 1 because the rest of the house granite looks good. I believe they installed stained granite, and won't admit it or offer a believable explanation. There is clearly an orange stain at the sink. The rest of the granite does not have this stain anywhere else. When I let them know, they told me it was supposed to be like that. And they offered no other response, not more pictures of it elsewhere, not a name of the granite, nothing. Make sure you look over each piece carefully before installing. The stain is along the side of the sink. It wouldn't be so bad except the granite is white and grey, so I'll have to look at this the rest of my life thanks to this place.

The piece I selected had some specs of tan in it which I specifically wanted and was why it was…read moreselected. I was assured they could cut it so the tan would appear. As they were bringing the piece into the house, I noticed that the cut had no tan specs appearing anywhere. Upon calling, my customer service contact immediately, I was informed there was a hair line crack (in transit) and they had to cut with the area that was good. The piece was now done with no phone call of the issue, they offered no compensation on the cost. Was told that they could return it and I could pick something else out. All it took was a simple phone call to alert the customer to the issue. Instead, they came, made the cut and I had to make the phone call about the issue. Not GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE in any shape or form. Be extremely careful, get everything in writing and go over it twice and check the stone before they make a single cut or you will end up like me with a piece you didn't order. The men who delivered the stone were the professional in the case.

Let's also talk about office staff like Jennifer 100% dedicated to the company & customer to make things run smoothly & in helping the customers questions. Then Angel the person who came out took all the measurements figuring where additional piers needed to be placed & when I texted him with questions he always answered in less than maximum 10 minutes. I called Olshan 5 different times over about 6 month period for a bid & they never responded back even 1 time. If you are needing any work done if you didn't hire Du-West you will be sorry. PS I am yes a real Friendswood customer since 1995 not family, not paid for my opinion & I don't work for Du-West.
