They have a protection plan that can be purchased for the furniture, supposedly if it's not used you get a credit at the end of the 5 years that can be used in store. We will see how that goes. He did have to refer me to a manager, as it seems they prefer the customer deal with the original sales person, tho that would mean taking a 90 minute drive back to Frisco. He was able to help and got me taken care of. Very helpful. This location was larger than the Frisco location. Very clean. They have a lot to choose from, tho the styles don't seem to vary buy much. Cost is a bit more than other stores that sale Ashely furnishings, such as NFM, but the sales person did give us a good enough discount. The items we did purchase we had not seen anywhere else.

I went through their formal inspection process, which confirmed one inch of sagging, and was told that does not meet the warranty threshold of 1.5 inches. So apparently I need to keep sleeping on a failing mattress and wait until it gets worse before they will help me. I offered to pay the difference toward a replacement. I offered to accept store credit. I asked for a partial refund. Every option was declined. I have now spoken to multiple people, been escalated twice, and received the same answer each time: not our problem. At no point did anyone make a genuine effort to find a solution. I was told to come back in three months when the sagging gets worse. That is not customer service, that is stalling. The math here is simple. I am either stuck with a $1,500 mattress that is falling apart, or I buy a new one and I am out $3,000+. Living Spaces has made it clear they are comfortable with that outcome. If you are considering a large purchase here, especially a mattress, think carefully. The product warranty sounds good until you actually need to use it.
