    Soft, weak particle board.

    I was disappointed in the quality of the furniture once I got it home. One of the bed side rails was broken when we had the furniture delivered. Ashley promptly sent up a new one. (I was told the furniture was "real wood" when we were looking at it) To my amazement when I removed the old broken part I found I had just paid for cheap particle board that looked like real wood. I guess as an uninformed consumer I share some of the blame. I would have happily paid more for higher quality "wood" furniture. We plan on moving in a couple years, from my college days I found particle board does not move well. I guess this was a learning lesson. If you are going to spend thousands of dollars get that "real wood furniture" in writing and don't end up like me. All sales staff I dealt at the store and the one the person on the phone when I called about the broken bit were friendly and professional. They took their time in providing service to me. It is not the people it is the product.

    0 stars if I could. We had furniture delivered and assembled and while I was checking everything over they managed to leave out the front door and leave it wide open. I have attempted an exchange but not all parts were included so the drivers couldn't even attempt a replacement. Ashley argues the broken pieces are not broken (despite the fact their workers can't even do anything with them). Still attempting a THIRD delivery.

    If I could give zero stars, I would. Got scammed into buying this bed set during COVID. Many things went wrong just days after my purchase. However- The worst part is the failing structure of the queen size bed I bought. The skeleton of the bed is held up by wooden slates. only every other skate is actually held up by a sturdy pole. Now less than a year or so later each slate without a pole under the bed is bending. And only months after the bed was installed the only screwed in slates at each end are off. The edges of my bed lose their entire sturdyness and you almost sink in when the end slates are moved in further to the center of the bed. It's just awful. This bed is the reason I don't sleep well at night. I am considering going to the Better Business bureau. Horrible furniture, zero comfort, and ZERO regard for the aftermath you face once you sign papers confirming your purchase. Buy here with great caution. My bed started falling apart within months.

    Customer service here is TOP NOTCH! From the moment I walked in I felt so comfortable and wasn't hovered by any sales associates like some stores. If you are looking for some furniture and need someone knowledgeable ask for Mr. Gavin! He was very personable and so easy to talk to. Furniture here is very affordable and they have financing options available if you need it. Once a plan is in motion you are taken towards the back of the store to make a payment with the cashier, and If you want to have a great conversation go to Marika! She was so cool and we even had a chance to discuss our love for the cowboys lol! Your manager is lucky to have both of you on staff. Thanks again for everything guys, can't wait to pick up my couch!

    **Make sure you ask about their warranty** First of all, we absolutely love our purchase. After months of saving up (REFUSE to charge anything on credit) to start furnishing our home, we visited a couple of stores before finally deciding to buy something from Ashley's. We were greeted by Daniel Ayo as soon as we walked in and only asked us a couple of times if we had any questions...this is great because we really dislike pushy salesman. We had our eye on a dresses but before commuting to this purchase my husband and I decided to visit one more store. 30 minutes later we were back to speak to Daniel to make our purchase. We got an incredible price on our dresser. Regular price $1,400 but after Labor Day sale and discounts we were able to get it for $709!! We are then sat at a table by Daniel to fill out the paperwork for delivery. 10 minutes later our name is called by the lady running the register/customer service desk. Can't remember her name, but I do remember she had red hair that was super curly and wore glasses. We get to the desk no questions are asked or conversation is made. A couple of minutes later she just hands us our receipt and says "thank you". By this time I'm annoyed because the minute the sale was made the attentiveness changes. Daniel just sat us down and asked us to fill a paper then leaves and we never see him again. So now I'm standing there, lost, and I annoyingly asked "and it gets delivered when?!" She just "someone will call you with that." Fast forward a couple of days later, I'm reviewing our receipt and realized that we weren't offered any warranty, so I call the store but my call goes to the corporate office. I try to purchase the warranty but the lady at the corporate office advises me that we have 3 business days from delivery to purchase it. I let her know that Daniel or the red head didn't tell me anything about any warranty. She offers to transfer me to the store but the policy is 3 business days and there's nothing the store will be able to do about it. So I just decide to not be transferred so I wouldn't waste anymore of my time with Ashley's. So now we have a whole house to furnish and unfortunately, we will now have to go with another company tondons

    Let me add to the list if negative reviews... I purchased a bedroom set as well as a large TV stand in January. It's now August and I am still waiting for most of my delivery. I've only received the stand and the headboard... at this point it is ridiculous how long I've waited. They lead you to believe in store that the items will be delivered in 4-12 weeks, but they really push saying it will be closer to 4 weeks. I think this is all said in order to get you to make a purchase with the assumption everything will be alright. Clearly they know they are unable to fill the orders they are setting up, otherwise they would not have so many recent negative reviews. Really they should have nothing on display that they can not reasonably fill and I've said this to them. I was going to order dining room furniture from them a month later but I was so afraid I would end up waiting months for it as well. I've gone to Nebraska furniture and was able to order my dining room furniture and it got delivered within weeks. Went back to Nebraska and order my living room furniture and again got it within weeks. So what's the problem Ashley Furniture?!? And I'll add that they offer no discounts or free delivery for the trouble and extensive delays. All I get from them is an agent extending my delivery date every 3 weeks when I call! I feel like I know all the associates by name at the call center now, and I feel bad for them having to deal with all the customers calling them upset over their furniture deliveries.

    They are calling this normal wear and tear.  Really?

I had bought pool chairs with a life time warranty from them 10 years beforehand a claim but they could not find any record of me buying them because they said they purged their files...... I believe the outlet of their was located right off of Interstate 35 E is gone....I believe they may have possibly merge with the Grapevine store...Bottom line....Make them put in writing the warranty... Oh also beware of all their bogus "SALE" items.....They say this is normally $600.00 but on sale for $175.00...... When it falls apart one day after having it for a year they tell you its out of warranty for the fabric.....Screw'em!

    I am in LOVE with this store. We are in the process of filling a brand new home with furnishings…read moreand decor and this is one of my go-to places for unique pieces that you really can't find just anywhere else. I came to know about this place from Facebook - I follow their page (District 635) on there and was really impressed with the color palettes that they use and the uniqueness of the items they show on there. The store itself is just as impressive. They go to other furniture/ decor places and get their closeouts and sell them here. While they advertise that their prices are significantly less for designer pieces, I do not see much financial savings, HOWEVER, I am willing to pay their prices because, as I said, mostly everything in here is extremely unique. I will say this - I saw a coffee table here made out of a Russian boat propeller with a glass top (super cool and different!) for $2300 and it was $4000 at Restoration Hardware ... so that's something, right? :) They constantly get new pieces in, so you have to check back frequently. They are only open Thursday-Sunday, so you really want to try to get there Thursday to see the best things that they have to offer for the week. For the most part, you buy right off the floor. Sometimes they will have a few duplicate items from the floor back in their warehouse, but this is one of those places where when you see something you like, you better buy it because it may not be there next time. *Note: They are connected to The Dump, however, the styles/ selection is nothing like the The Dump. Trust me, I don't like The Dump either.

Upon entering, I was immediately overwhelmed by a pungent odor reminiscent of cat urine. It was so overpowering that breathing became a challenge, and it was hard to imagine anyone choosing to linger in the retail space. I am a huge advocate for businesses that embrace having animals on site, as it often adds a charming touch to the shopping experience. The cat at Green Acre is indeed beautiful, but unfortunately, its presence has wreaked havoc on the retail space. The unmistakable odor suggests it has chosen the outdoor furniture as its territory, which detracts significantly from the environment--something that management ought to address promptly. Despite this unnerving aspect, I did spot an exquisite Alocasia Zebrina. This find was the shining moment in an otherwise unpleasant visit. Sadly, I didn't venture into their outdoor section, as the state of the houseplant area was disheartening enough. Many of the plants appeared neglected, with signs of overwatering and distress. It was disappointing to see such potential overshadowed by poor maintenance. If this Green Acre location wishes to improve, they could learn a lot from the Green Acres location in Melissa, whose plant manager truly excels. Her expertise and care are evident, and similar attention is needed in Irving to revive their plant offerings and overall customer experience. Overall, I wish I could grant a higher score, but the current conditions make it difficult to recommend Green Acre Nursery until these issues are addressed.
