Johnny and I came into this location looking to see a ghost mattress, wanted to know all about it. Kacey helped us and we ended up buying something totally different. Kacey was very helpful and pleasant. We got a great deal working with her and Store manager Tyler. This was not a planned visit and spent more than I wanted to, but that is on me. If you are looking for a great deal on a mattress or bedroom furniture, go see them in Grapevine.!!! Not a paid person, just a customer, who appreciates great service!!! read more

July 31 ... they get the sale by promising delivery 46 days later, by September 15. September 5, they agree to deliver pieces of the set on September 11, but they break their promise ... the most important piece (the master bed) is pushed another 25 days to October 9. September 11, they text at 9:36 am they'll be there in 60 minutes. 10:25 am (11 minutes early), they leave a voicemail limited to "Hello". 10:31 am (5 minutes early), they leave a voicemail limited to "Hello, this is Ashley delivery support". 10:31 am (2 minutes after their written arrival time) the leave a threatening voicemail "Hello, this is Ashley Delivery Support. The driver's trying to be nice. If you're not home in a few ... within the 15 minutes, you will have to reschedule your delivery. Thank you." 10:35 am (1 minute before schedule arrival time) I reply to their text confirming I am here waiting. 10:37 am (1 minute after scheduled arrival time), they see me waiving (with eye contact) as they drive off. They were in the same block with an easy turn-around. 10:38 am they send me a text saying I failed to respond and will have to reschedule. The delivery was to an apartment in a tower. The concierge (over 18) was at the front desk the entire time, with a key to my apartment and instructions to let them in. I was in my apartment the entire time until I went down to investigate. My assistant was in my apartment the entire time in case they came. They could not be bothered to leave their air conditioned truck. They never found the freight elevator or tried the intercom on it. They never came inside to talk to the concierge. They never came to my apartment where two of us were waiting. They never left a useful messages by phone or text. Ashley lies to get the sale. Ashely lies to avoid delivery. Ashley points the finger at supply chain, store, delivery and customer to hide how bad they are. They are all bad ... stem to stern. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Ashley Furniture. We purchased recliners that turned out to be flimsy, extremely uncomfortable, and poorly designed. When fully reclined, you cannot even see the TV properly, which completely defeats the purpose of buying recliners for a home theater setup. On delivery, we were told that if anything was wrong, we had three days to call. We called within that period, exactly as instructed. Instead of trying to help, the representative basically told us it was our problem and that they would not refund or return the recliners. The attitude was dismissive, rude, and completely unacceptable. I have bought many things from Ashley Furniture in the past and never had an issue with other locations, which makes this even more disappointing. But after this experience, I will never buy from them again. This is not the kind of company or customer service you want to deal with. Once they have your money, they clearly do not care. We're happy with the furniture itself, but the overall experience at Ashley Store - Grapevine left us disappointed. We purchased in-store over the weekend, only to discover the same items were discounted by 50% just days later. It's frustrating that no one informed us of the upcoming promotion, especially when we were there right before it began -- it felt like a missed opportunity at best, or a deliberate upsell at worst. To make matters worse, the delivery team spoke no English, making communication very difficult during setup. Once the furniture is delivered and signed for, returns are not allowed, which adds pressure to accept everything as-is -- even if there are issues. A little more transparency and better customer service would go a long way. read more

Having a couch/recliner from Ashley. The quality of their products is extremely LOW grade. After having our couch only 3 weeks, both sides of our recliner broke. Tried to have it returned but local manager said they are only a distributor and having Nothing to do with clients after sale of product. Provides ZERO support. The warranty support is TERRIBLE. slow response . Warranty plays a shell game you call one to report it then they want pictures. You follow up and they need pictures again because the number you first where given they don't access to. Don't forget other companies sell Ashley furniture too so be careful read more

I was disappointed in the quality of the furniture once I got it home. One of the bed side rails was broken when we had the furniture delivered. Ashley promptly sent up a new one. (I was told the furniture was "real wood" when we were looking at it) To my amazement when I removed the old broken part I found I had just paid for cheap particle board that looked like real wood. I guess as an uninformed consumer I share some of the blame. I would have happily paid more for higher quality "wood" furniture. We plan on moving in a couple years, from my college days I found particle board does not move well. I guess this was a learning lesson. If you are going to spend thousands of dollars get that "real wood furniture" in writing and don't end up like me. All sales staff I dealt at the store and the one the person on the phone when I called about the broken bit were friendly and professional. They took their time in providing service to me. It is not the people it is the product. read more

Update with the journey of in-door shopping experience. I purchased with been told above $2.5K will have 15% off with Ashley's credit card. So I filled out the application with personal info; after 10 mins, my credit was approved, but there was only a 5% off discount, so I decided to use my credit card without using their finance program with TD bank, and I told them I didn't need to apply for a credit card because 5% off is not worth expending or lower my credit score. 10 days later, I got a credit card without my consent in the notice on email. The whole scheme of using 15% off to get your information and tell you is 5% off when the credit is approved. Now I got a credit card without my consent? And if I cancel, it will lower my credit score... WTF is that? After calling the store for customer service to address my concerns, the store manager called 15 minutes later to apologize and tell us when the credit card was approved; even we did not want a credit card, to keep the promise from the beginning 15% off when credit was approved, he is willing to reimburse the 15% off back to my Amex card account. Even the card will be mailed to my mailbox soon. It won't affect my credit as long as I don't use it in the next 6 months. Am I going back? They are willing to listen, solve the problems, and keeps the promise to customer's requests in the end. The answer is definitely a yes! read more

I bought a mattress and a mattress frame from Ashley. They said they were going to deliver it on March 18 even before that. They keep moving the date of delivery now we are possibly on April 2. Apparently they sell things they don't even know if they have in stock. Don't know when this bed is going to be delivered and no one can't give a straight answer. Ashley's used to have a good reputation. I guess that is gone. I will never buy from them again. read more

I have received terrible service to get a sofa repaired under the warranty for a manufactured defect. So far, I have had 3 repair visits with the issue not being fixed. Ashley warranty department works with a 3rd party to get items repaired. There has been many miscommunications between both the repair center and the 3rd party. I asked for a supervisor twice and I have yet to receive a supervisor call. Supervisors are unavailable over the phone. I even called the store for help and still no assistance. There is a manufacture defect in out sofa. They have yet offered to replace it even though I have asked. I would think twice before buying any furniture. I know I won't go back. I'm now scheduled for a 4th visit and unsure if they will fix the issue. It's unfortunate they don't care about my time spent waiting for them to arrive . I spend the whole day waiting for them to arrive late in the day. read more

I bought an electronically powered couch and chair at this store. The couch was on sale but the chair was not. The couch was backed up to another couch so that the back was hidden. The chair on the floor did not match it but the salesman, Scott Jansen, said they did have it in stock. When the furniture was delivered, the first thing I noticed was the back of the couch. The couch is a light cream color and the back is the ugliest brown I have ever seen. The chair on the floor was blue with a similar colored back. I called immediately after the delivery to tell Scott I was extremely unhappy with the back of the couch. I had told him at purchase that due to the way the area this couch would go was arranged, the back would show. He asked if the delivery people had left and I told him they had just left. He then said it's too late. Once you have accepted delivery, you can't exchange the furniture. I feel the blue chair on the floor was intentional and deceptive because if the chair that matched the couch had been on display, the back would have been exposed and I don't think anyone would buy this couch with its ugly back. The manager was no help either and showed me the tiny print where this information was included in the contract. Scott did not point this out when I signed, which I believe a reputable salesman would have done. I have purchased here several times in the past but NEVER AGAIN. And I tell everyone who comes into my home the story of how Ashleigh treats its customers. read more

0 stars if I could. We had furniture delivered and assembled and while I was checking everything over they managed to leave out the front door and leave it wide open. If I could give zero stars, I would. Got scammed into buying this bed set during COVID. Many things went wrong just days after my purchase. However- The worst part is the failing structure of the queen size bed I bought. The skeleton of the bed is held up by wooden slates. only every other skate is actually held up by a sturdy pole. Now less than a year or so later each slate without a pole under the bed is bending. And only months after the bed was installed the only screwed in slates at each end are off. The edges of my bed lose their entire sturdyness and you almost sink in when the end slates are moved in further to the center of the bed. It's just awful. This bed is the reason I don't sleep well at night. I am considering going to the Better Business bureau. Horrible furniture, zero comfort, and ZERO regard for the aftermath you face once you sign papers confirming your purchase. Buy here with great caution. My bed started falling apart within months. read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had purchasing furniture. Was made promises on deliveries and insurance which were untrue. Delivery has been a total disaster from scheduling to missed dates to sales and customer service personnel being beyond clueless. Store managers (Troy and Jason) hide from customers and won't return phone calls. Sales personnel (Destiny) "has no idea what her managers last name is." Everyone at this store is clueless. I've been trying to cancel my order due to their incompetence and they can't even get that right. Filing a corporate complaint and also leaving this negative review. Do not buy from this store! Do not use their services they lie about everything and then send you to the Philippines to be stuck in a call center if there is a problem. If I could give them less starts I would. I ordered from them far in advanced and then they spammed me for a week to confirm delivery. The best part is they canceled the delivery after I had already taken off work. They then rescheduled it for weeks later. When I tried to cancel my order because I needed it that week hence why I ordered in advanced they just gave me the run around. Don't trust these people. All they say is oh im so sorry. **Make sure you ask about their warranty** First of all, we absolutely love our purchase. After months of saving up (REFUSE to charge anything on credit) to start furnishing our home, we visited a couple of stores before finally deciding to buy something from Ashley's. We were greeted by Daniel Ayo as soon as we walked in and only asked us a couple of times if we had any questions...this is great because we really dislike pushy salesman. We had our eye on a dresses but before commuting to this purchase my husband and I decided to visit one more store. 30 minutes later we were back to speak to Daniel to make our purchase. We got an incredible price on our dresser. Regular price $1,400 but after Labor Day sale and discounts we were able to get it for $709!! We are then sat at a table by Daniel to fill out the paperwork for delivery. 10 minutes later our name is called by the lady running the register/customer service desk. Can't remember her name, but I do remember she had red hair that was super curly and wore glasses. We get to the desk no questions are asked or conversation is made. A couple of minutes later she just hands us our receipt and says "thank you". By this time I'm annoyed because the minute the sale was made the attentiveness changes. Daniel just sat us down and asked us to fill a paper then leaves and we never see him again. So now I'm standing there, lost, and I annoyingly asked "and it gets delivered when?!" She just "someone will call you with that." Fast forward a couple of days later, I'm reviewing our receipt and realized that we weren't offered any warranty, so I call the store but my call goes to the corporate office. I try to purchase the warranty but the lady at the corporate office advises me that we have 3 business days from delivery to purchase it. I let her know that Daniel or the red head didn't tell me anything about any warranty. She offers to transfer me to the store but the policy is 3 business days and there's nothing the store will be able to do about it. So I just decide to not be transferred so I wouldn't waste anymore of my time with Ashley's. So now we have a whole house to furnish and unfortunately, we will now have to go with another company tondons read more

We went for the first time in a while a few months ago. We were pleasantly surprised not to find all traditional ornate furniture with patterns that are not our style. They actually do have some nice looking transitional pieces. The prices are alright. What I have a challenge with is that it is a more traditional sales pitch. Anytime my husband and I would stop to discuss what we liked and did not like about something a sales person would be there. It kind of turned us off buying anything here. We just want time to think and discuss. I have no problem going to look for someone to help us when the time comes if we can have an uninterrupted conversation. I know that this is the business model and it is not the sales persons fault. It can just be frustrating. read more

Let me add to the list if negative reviews... I purchased a bedroom set as well as a large TV stand in January. It's now August and I am still waiting for most of my delivery. I've only received the stand and the headboard... at this point it is ridiculous how long I've waited. They lead you to believe in store that the items will be delivered in 4-12 weeks, but they really push saying it will be closer to 4 weeks. I think this is all said in order to get you to make a purchase with the assumption everything will be alright. Clearly they know they are unable to fill the orders they are setting up, otherwise they would not have so many recent negative reviews. Really they should have nothing on display that they can not reasonably fill and I've said this to them. I was going to order dining room furniture from them a month later but I was so afraid I would end up waiting months for it as well. I've gone to Nebraska furniture and was able to order my dining room furniture and it got delivered within weeks. Went back to Nebraska and order my living room furniture and again got it within weeks. So what's the problem Ashley Furniture?!? And I'll add that they offer no discounts or free delivery for the trouble and extensive delays. All I get from them is an agent extending my delivery date every 3 weeks when I call! I feel like I know all the associates by name at the call center now, and I feel bad for them having to deal with all the customers calling them upset over their furniture deliveries. read more

This store is terrible. David Nelson sold us a bedroom set, said it would be delivered when we moved into our new home. He told us that everything was in stock and it would be there on the 23rd Come to find out, they don't deliver out here on the 23rd it would be the 25th. No worries, just a couple of days late. 25th came and went escalated to Donna, an escalation expert. She changed the delivery date to the 28th without asking me. And said some of the items wouldn't be delivered until august 4th Anyway, 28th comes and goes, no furniture, no response from Donna and the store had me on hold for 45 mins before they hung up on me Called back got some idiot that said there are 3 managers on the floor when I asked for a manager then proceeded to throw out a racial slurs at me before he put me on hold yet again No furniture, no customer service no need to escalate they don't care I will never do business with them again. Gavin was a great salesperson and was very easy to do business with - made the buying process a breeze.

I want to WARN you guys, this people are SHADY! they will rip you off in a very dishonest way, they are liars and keep information from you until you have already signed, rented a u-haul and gotten help to move your furniture. They sold our family crap furniture and we didn't get warranty because it was "display." The sales woman never mentioned the no warranty and promised a substantial discount, they backed down on the discount we were suppose to get *after* we were already parked outside the store with the moving truck; they told us that the living room set was on display for only a few weeks prior to us buying it, so we were like ok. Well...we come home and I am certain it wasn't the same set, it was rough; not super soft like it was at the store, it had a defective stitching on one of the leg rest. After a week; we realized that one of the cushions had a rip at the bottom fabric, so it started sinking a bit, we paid 1600.00! No way, PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, they clearly switched the furniture we bought when they "took it to the back" to wrap it up, and told us about the no warranty AFTER we were there and the bank card had been dinged for the money, because they knew the couches they gave us were defective. The sales woman just wanted her commission. DISHONESTY!! read more

I'm currently giving it a 3 due to many many delivery nightmares I've read about. The salesman was very nice. After spending 1500 was told delivery fee was 199.00. Lazy Boy next door delivered our furniture free. So the discount that we got all went to delivery. Once I receive my furniture on time as expected, I will add to my review. Update: Ashley reduced my delivery fee to 159.00 because I had a 20% off coupon. I felt was still high, but it beats no discount. The furniture was delivered timely and in great condition read more

If I could give this place zero stars I fucking would. Not only does this business trick you into buying furniture but they LIE to you face to face. They start off by telling you that so "is marked down plus etc % off included and warranty for life" but what they won't tell you it's all a scam. They refused to give us an answer after calling 20 times trying to get a hold of the store. After getting in contact with someone in the store they direct us to another department who also couldn't help us and so on we ended up calling corporate who ALSO directed us to a different department higher then them and played the whole he said/ she said card, like this is supposed to be a business of fine furniture and fine customer service. We purchased a dining room set from Ashley. 2 weeks out of warranty and one chair is falling apart. They want $135 to come look at it plus $90 an hour to fix it (assuming it can be fixed). It's a $122 chair that is discontinued. It may be a quick fix, but not sure I trust an hourly open ended quote. I would even bring it to them to fix. Barely out of warranty and unwilling to take care of the problem. I was not offered an extended warranty at purchase. This was my first purchase from this company. I was hoping for a better outcome to this situation. Lesson learned. Guess I'll be buying a new dining room set from somewhere else. read more

We were completely deceived about a purchase of a temperpedic bed. We were promised it was a guaranteed return. Now they are saying it can only be exchanged. The automatic lights on the bed are causing our son to have seizures. The associates who filter the call never put you through to the manager but put you on hold for 30 minutes. I have left multiple messages with no response. The store told me it was Temperpedics policy so I called Temperpedic. They could not have been nicer and said had we bought it directly from them they would absolutely fully refund us. They explained once the store purchased from them they have no control. When I relayed that information to Ashley they said it is a Temperpedic policy which is an absolute lie. I plan on contacting the Americans with Disability Act advocates as this bed was for our special needs child who cannot sleep on it unless Ashley furniture wants him to die. So far they have not showed they care at all. It is the coldest and most frustrating experience I've ever had. I won't stop pursuing justice in this matter. Be careful with these guys. I took out their credit option - which actually turns out to be a type of credit card - and assumed the payments were paying out the balance. It hit two years which was apparently the 'end of the promotion' and I was charged $1700+ interest on a $1300 balance!! I can't even imagine the interest rate that is. I paid out the balance and immediately closed the account. I'm lucky I'm not struggling financially which I'm sure most people who take out these kind of promotions probably are. I'll never shop there again. Ever. Ryan of Ashley was professional enough to reply. So thank you for that. Your point about 'any other 0% interest plan' is incorrect. I have $50,000 car loan which is 0%. The payments come out of that so that by the term date of the loan it's fully paid off. The trap you have with your partnership with Synchrony is that this isn't the structure. Now to be sure I should have watched it more closely, and triple checked the fine print. So that's on me. Any way you paint it, it's a trap for people who won't understand these kinds of setups, and usually people who don't have much money go for this - or lazy people who assume loan payments are structured so it's being paid off correctly. I'm the latter. It's still a poor way to do business. Like I said it won't happen again. read more

Be ware: Absolutely no Exchange or return policy. Ashley had good selection of bar stools and the salesperson seemed to be knowledgeable and helpful. She was very clear about the limits of the store warranty and offering the extended warranty. However, she did not specify that there was absolutely no return or exchange options (short of damage). When we received delivery the stools looked good but when we put them in the room the color was too jarringly white. We contacted Ashley about exchanging for another model but were told they would not return or exchange. Looking at our receipt is does state this in small letters in page 2 after our signature on page 1. If I could give 0 stars I would. Don't order from this store unless you like to be given the run around after you've already gave them your money. Whoever they use to deliver there items are booked weeks in advanced and once it's been canceled they can no longer keep it on its original delivery date. These people are a bunch of lying scumbags. Starting with Gavin Masumoto. We bought a $3,000 couch and he explicitly told us in store that if we were not satisfied we could return the item. The couch was delivered today and it's absolutely filthy and one piece looks like it was a returned item. Now I am being told by customer service and the so called store manager that there's no refund possible at all. I have never in my life heard from any furniture store that something is not refundable. We had an issue with some RH furniture that was delivered and they returns with no issue. I was starting to think it might never happen but my friends it finally did! After half a year without living room furniture, we are the proud owners of a new set thanks to Ashley. That means our house can actually start to look like a home as opposed to a storage unit people happen to be living out of. We had looked all over town with no success. Rooms to Go, Nebraska Furniture Mart, department stores, The Dump, Wiers, Freeds, Stacey, outlet stores, even IKEA out of pure desperation. Ashley was one of the last on our list, and neither of us went in expecting much which is always when you seem to find exactly what you are looking for. Our problem was mostly a difference in taste. My husband likes cold modern furniture that looks uncomfortable, whereas I prefer inviting furniture that immediately makes you want to kick off your shoes and stay a while. Our home has a light grey and white color scheme, so we needed furniture to both match that and fit easily into our awkward living room space without looking bulky. Chris Moore assisted us and did a wonderful job. He happens to also be a designer and figured out a way for us to get the most from our space. Our living room is an open concept L shape, so he suggested to put the large couch on the bigger wall and instead of a love seat get two oversized chairs to close in the other two sides. That way we only purchase one ottoman and use it in place of a coffee table so it can become extra seating when needed. Just do a throw blanket and tray over the top when it's not in use and there you go! We loved the idea. He also helped us find an art deco style rug my husband loved which will fit in perfectly with both our new couch and color scheme while protecting our hardwood floors. Right now if you choose to finance its 24 months at 0% interest which is what we did. The monthly payments are very affordable (even with the warranty added on), and all they ask is 12% down at signing. The rug had to come with us that day because the furniture is delivered from a separate warehouse, so anything else you buy in store has to be taken with you when you leave. We also found a dark grey headboard we liked and a gorgeous painting that I wanted to hang in my bathroom over my soaker tub. The painting was over $300 so I passed, since I know I can find something just as cute for much cheaper elsewhere. The headboard we will be back for though as soon as we pay off our recent purchases. I'm so glad we found Ashley and can't wait for the set to get here in two weeks so we can see what everything will look like once it's all together! read more
