I'm grateful to have worked with him and appreciate how responsive he was with any questions/concerns I had. I love the furniture in my place, it's comfy and stylish. The delivery guys were professional and quick with setting up my furniture and moving it around. We purchased our living room Couch and Recliner Love Seat back in January. We had some issues with the delivery process. But Ashley made good on the delivery. On Friday 26 September our recliner love seat while in the extended position stopped working as designed. Both side are struck in the extended position stopped and will not retract. We made notification to Ashley and spoke with a human and was referred to call a number and the contractor will take care of the problem. The contractor is a "BOT" but never spoke with a representative/human. We were told that the contractor will make contact within 36 hours. Tick, Tick. We were emailed by the BOT and requested an address to send the replacement parts to be sent to. We sent the address as requested. Tick, Tick We were emailed by a BOT requesting photos of the serial numbers. We sent the photos of the serial numbers. On several occasions over six days we called the Ashley Store at 9100 N Fwy I-35W and told there was nobody present to answer my questions. Even our sales representative Donna M. Has ghosted us. Tick, Tick So where do we go from here? Why doesn't Ashley make good on their warranty? Tick, Tick Why can't Ashley management make contact with me? Ashley is dishonest in their business practices! Spent over $7,000 on a bed frame, mattress, etc from Ashley's. They delivered half of the bed to me, with missing rails. Customer Service told me it was an error from whomever ordered the bed for me. When I called to speak to DONNA, the person who sold me the bed, she did not apologize in any way for the mistake she had made. Not having the rails added more days of sleeping without a bed and I had to waste another day off work to be there for the delivery people. We worked hard, built strong credit, and for the first time, we were excited to finally purchase brand-new furniture--a milestone we had never experienced. Sadly, what should have been a joyful purchase turned into a 112-day nightmare, riddled with miscommunication, incompetence, delays, and hidden fees. A Constant Battle to Correct Mistakes We purchased a living room set, bedroom set, and two TEMPUR-Pedic LUXE Breeze Hybrid Medium Split California King Mattresses at Ashley Furniture HomeStore Alliance. Concerned about mattress firmness, my wife opted to exchange one for the soft model--but despite assurances, the salesman never corrected the order. Days later, the wrong mattress protectors arrived, followed by billing issues, incorrect rails, order cancellations, and an inexcusable failure to deliver the correct mattress. When trying to fix these errors, I was given the runaround, forced to call Guest Relations more than 14 times, endure dropped calls, and deal with an automated BOT-TEXT system--only to realize the store staff hadn't updated any of my records according to GRT. A Disappearing Salesman & Zero Accountability Each visit introduced a new point of contact, as if the original salesperson vanished. The salesmen pushed blame to Guest Relations and advised me not to speak with them. Meanwhile, GRT assured me they had no records of store staff reaching out. Even when they finally scheduled a delivery, the order was wrong AGAIN--instead of a mattress, the delivery team arrived with an adjustable base. Hidden Fees & A Broken System Before our furniture was delivered, we were unexpectedly charged a $313 promotional fee--on a "no interest for 60 months" financing plan that was advertised as no interest. Still trying to figure out that. At no point was I informed this promotion would come at a cost. Additionally, the billing statement included $714 in unexplained new purchases, which no one could clarify. Edit: turns out anything picked up from the store is billed separately, this was for the mattress protectors. Doing this causes additional promotion fees. Throughout this process, Ashley Furniture's system failures, poor staff training, and disastrous communication turned a milestone purchase into a nightmare. Final Thoughts--Buyer Beware We finally received our mattress on May 3, 2025--112 days after our purchase. But by then, the 90-day exchange window had expired, meaning we never had the opportunity to try out the mattress before committing. Ashley Furniture's recorded calls mean nothing if they don't improve their service. If this review helps even one family avoid the wasted time and stress we endured, it will be worth it. It didn't have to be this hard and why was it. What happened to customer service? What happened to doing the right thing? I strongly urge customers to take their business elsewhere--unless you're ready to fight a four-month battle just to receive what you paid for. Where to even begin.... buying the furniture was a smooth process... but receiving it... OH. MY. GOODNESS. The incompetence is astounding. Now, seeing the reviews, *sigh* I really wish I would have seen them before purchasing and ran far away from the idea of shopping here. We purchased on 12/06/24, scheduled to pick up 12/23. We called ahead, the automated system said our order was ready for pickup. We had to rent a UHaul to pick up which was fine and expected. We arrive and it's complete chaos, no structure, no lines, just people standing around. Among the sea of people, there was something there STILL waiting on a piece hours later, even someone who had been calling and showing up to get more of their purchase since AUGUST. Four months, and some customers still haven't received their orders. We ordered a 6-piece sectional, they bring us four pieces. We tell them that can't be all, and they don't have anything else to say but "well that's what it says here." We show them the printout from the store, and they just shrug it off, and again "well we scanned it and it says that's all." Wonderful. Once we get home, we take inventory of what we do and do not have; and the calls begin. I explained more than once that we are missing TWO pieces, and they keep telling me that the warehouse simply couldn't find one piece and they have to "investigate" for the other piece, as if we received it and we just want another (mind you, it's a LAF end chair, have two of these wouldn't work out). They say they will schedule a complimentary delivery since it was their fault, of course, we agree. They call on 12/26 and say it will be delivered 12/28. Great! Just the one missing piece from the warehouse, not the one that's under investigation. Throughout this time, I am bombarded with texts from Ashley about picking up my items... because of this, I call to confirm that my 12/28 delivery was still happening. For some reason, it's not. The lady happily asks when can I pick it up. I'm beyond frustrated at this point... I explain the situation, and she understands and schedules it for Monday, 12/30. Ok, great. Monday comes and goes, no contact, no furniture. They called today, and ASKED WHEN DO WE WANT TO PICK IT UP. Do they write notes? Do they READ THE NOTES? Do they know what inventory they actually have before telling people it's available? I'm assuming the answer to those questions, and many more, is "no." I've also asked to simply cancel the missing pieces and I can get it elsewhere. They can't do that. I ask for a better timeframe, they can't provide me one. I'm just to wait. Do I have to wait over four months like the gentleman that has been waiting since August for the completion of his furniture? I am beyond frustrated and truly don't understand how they're still operational. My experience is just one of MANY in the story of buying furniture at Ashley. Mr. Parker was awesome. He greeted me with a smile within 5 seconds of entering the store, which personally, is a big deal. I never felt pressured to hurry up and he was more than happy to let me meander around the entire (big store) place. Everything is kinda mixed around so I'm sure he's used to people meandering, but I was grateful he showed no annoyance at me wanting to look at everything. He was very knowledgeable and was able to direct me to exactly what I said I was looking for (but you gotta look at everything else first, just in case, you know?) I wouldn't have been able to be home to receive a delivery, so I scheduled to pick it up the same day. Being able to do that was really nice. The pickup warehouse is in Everman, which kinda sucks, but realistically it's not too far. Pickup experience was more than smooth and the lady working the check-in desk, as well as the dock worker, were both friendly and professional. Assembly was too easy. I had help holding things in place, but four chairs, a table, and a bed frame fit in one truckload. It all took about two hours to get set up. All in all I am more than happy with my purchases. Buyers beware!!! My wife had purchased 2 reclining chairs, when they arrived they didn't match. She had contacted customer service, that was the 1st nightmare..... This woman explained to my wife that they are hand made from the same manufacturer... well that's a lie, you look at the tags and 1 chair is made in Taiwan and the 2nd chair's manufacturer is Japan. In the pictures you can see the stitching is not the same the dimensions of the seat and the backrest is shorter than the other. So we had to wait 2 months for a tech to come and verify that they do not match... he finally comes and agrees that they do not match, he takes the information he needed for his report to send in... A month passes by, my wife and I reach out thinking that they should have received the engineer's reports... well sadly it has not been filed and we get passed to management.... The manager takes the report and says she will look into it and should hear back after a week..... 3 weeks later we hear nothing we have made several calls and texts during this time and it is falling on deaf ears.... I believe they are thinking we will give up... This will not happen!!! Yesterday I picked up a chair and ottoman purchased from this store. The Ashley employee put chair in bed of truck. I was holding straps and asked if we should strap the chair down. He said, no the chair is so heavy it will take a tornado to fly out. I got 4 miles down the road and the chair flow out on a busy 3 lane highway. Ashley's has told me they will not replace or repair my chair that was damaged when it flew out my truck. I relied on the expertise of their employee who loaded the chair. Buyer Be AWARE of this north forth worth alliance location. If I could give a negative 0 rating, I would. This was the most horrible customer experience I have had in a very long time from management to sales. I paid for an adjustable base and mattress along with several other pieces of furniture only to find out upon calling to confirm delivery that my adjustable base and mattress were canceled. After going into the store I learned from a sales person and Asst Manager (I will leave out names for now) that both were sold to another customer. The sales person went on to even disclose that he sold both to 2 other customers and how he even sold a higher mattress to one of the customers for over $3000. I trusted them to do the right thing as they said and provide me with an adjustable base that matched the amenities of the original I paid for even though I was now forced to pay more for the same mattress that was sold. Not the case at all! They delivered a basic base far from what was agreed upon that matched the one they sold to 2 other customers. When I reached out to tell them they delivered the wrong one, Nothing. No return calls. I went back into the store and explained and was told by the Asst Mgr that it would be fixed, he apologized even had the sales person to take me to choose the correct one. Guess what, that was over 2 weeks ago and Again, crickets. I have called several times to get an update and have been told by the manager he would call back in 10 mins and he has yet to call. The same asst manager placed me on hold for over 20 mins and never called back. When I call to get update everyone is either "off or busy" with no return calls. All this begin over a month ago, July 28. When I call the customer service 866 number I was told that that the store has to put in a ticket to update for the exchange and unbelievably their are no notes of this. There is also a part 2 of someone in the store cancelling the delivery of my other pieces furniture which I will discuss in a separate post. I have now escalated this issue again and hopefully can get this resolved. I will post outcome. I will not recommend anyone to shop at this location. There business sales practices are questionable from my experience. They lack customer service. Now that I remember, I believe the only reason they agreed to fix the issue that day was because a Regional Manager was there that day and both explained how they felt they had to be i their P's and Qi's. Customer service is not hard. One of the best business practices is to do right by your customers,it will bring you more business. Also, right your mistakes the best you can. Avoidance doesn't make it disappear. This experience has lead me to believe that this particular store lacks integrity. Warehouse Mgr convinced me to take it as they could get the piece ordered in 30 minutes. After delivery the wrong piece twice they got it right. It's now the end of September and I was told the furniture would not be available until December!! I would have never made this purchase if I knew that! The recliner won't work on the couch which has a 5 year manufacturers warranty for the mechanism on recliners. They DO NOT put the serial number on any of the paperwork and can't look up parts without it. In addition the furniture i purchased was discontinued so they can't do anything at all. FRAUDULENT PRACTICES -- AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!! 1) I purchased a bedroom suite several years ago. When it arrived it was much darker than what was on the showroom and Ashley said the new color is dark and I can't get the lighter color. They would not refund my money, so I had to pick something else that I didn't really like. 2) They convinced me to buy their protection package for $269 saying that if I didn't use it then I would get a FULL refund on the price of the protection package. Note that WAS NOT AN END DATE TO THE OFFER. 3) I sold the furniture a couple of years later, and never used the protection package. 4) every time I needed something for my house I would look at Ashley first so that I could use my coupon but they never had anything I wanted. 5) Two weeks ago: Finally!! Voilla!! I needed a couple of lamps. So as was my habit, I looked at Ashley first. I went to THE SAME ASHLEY THAT SOLD ME THE PROTECTION PACKAGE. And, to my amazement, they had two lamps that I really liked. When I tried to use my "fully refundable protection package $269" I was told it had expired and was no longer usable. We have been battling with the warranty company for almost a year to replace a cushion cover due to spillage. It took the warranty company a over a month and 5 canceled appointment to come take a look at the couch, to come determine they couldn't clean it and that they would have the company send out the replacement. Here we are 6+ months later to be told that we will not receive a replacement because they determine that we cleaned it; even after we have told them and the technician documented that it was not cleaned. I'm giving only 1 star because you can't post a minus star. I purchased a beautiful bedroom set back in Feb of this year. Its the entire bed, dresser, 2 nightstands, a vanity and stool. The day it was delivered I told the men who set it up that there were dents in the headboard, a CHUNK missing out of the footboard and then I saw the vanity. Totally put together BACKWARDS! The stool that goes underneath it was about 3-4 feet away from it. I told them the legs were on backwards. They assured me that they were not. I then asked them how I was supposed to put the stool underneath it? There's a wooden bar that goes across the two legs they had put in front and none between the back two legs. I said they put the legs on backwards. They said - it's the only way it would go together. It was a "manufacturer error" and that I needed to call them and have it replaced. I immediately sent in photos along with everything that was wrong and all that had transpired that same day - actually same hour! One week later around 11pm the bed totally fell to the floor while my husband and I were asleep. There were only 3 small pieces of wood holding my bed up and one of the screws wasn't even long enough to connect to the 2nd piece of wood. Nor were there any legs under it for support Skip forward to today, May 31st, over THREE MONTHS LATER - I have now taken off work 4 days to have my furniture fixed. Day 1 - they didn't come with the entire bed. Day 2 - they called that day and said it was damaged in transit so had to reschedule. Day 3 - AGAIN, they didn't come with the entire bed. They said they were not told to bring the side rails. I showed them ONCE AGAIN, the inside of them had been ripped apart as the screws pulled out and the bed fell. Day 4 - arriving between 9:15-12:15 - I received a text message at 9:14 am saying they will arrive in approximately 30 minutes. At 1:00 I left my house - very upset....again! at 1:08 my Ring went off that someone was at my door. I told them too late! I had to get to work. So...what to do? By the way, this furniture is silver, has beaded drawer fronts and rhinestone handles. This was my perfect bedroom set! I wanted to make sure it lasts forever so I called Keller Glass & Mirror and had them specifically cut me 4 pieces of glass back in Feb once my furniture had arrived. They had to come out and measure and make a pattern of the mirror cutouts as well as the corners. A week later, they installed it and my bedroom is gorgeous! But I still have a BROKEN bed with dents and a chunk missing! At this point, I've made calls - many calls. Today I spoke with "Joe" for about 12 minutes and was placed on hold. He was going to see if they would discount the bed as I am NOT taking off for this again. At 15 minutes, I was disconnected. He had asked if the number I was calling on was the same as on my account and I had said yes. But nope! He did not return the call. I then called him back, only to find out you cannot contact a "specific person". I let her know that she did NOT want to be the one to speak to me. Ask Joe! He already did! He had about 12 full minutes of my story, disappointment in their customer service (which by the way - if you call customer service phone line, it tells you to call the store you purchased from - so it's just a GIANT CIRCLE of Crap!) The lady, Carla had me start all over AGAIN! She put me on hold to see how much they could compensate the bed for if I dropped it. She came back saying $262. I said NO! Come get my furniture! I told her I wanted to speak to her superior. She said that wasn't possible - and couldn't give me a phone number. I said then put me on 3 way or tell her to get on this line. I was then put on hold after exactly 24 minutes and 34 seconds of conversation. So I stayed on hold for 20 minutes and hung up. It was now 1:11 EXACTLY 5 minutes later, I received a text message saying "Great, you're all set. We'll see you on 06/01/23. I'll let you know when the driver is about to head over." It came through TWICE. I answered back NO. I'm returning my products. Ashley Home Furniture - you guys are a total disappointment! I will never purchase anything from your company again. If I could give this store a zero I would. DO NOT SHOP at Ashley Home Furniture. I went to this store to purchase a mattress. I was pressured into buying a more expensive mattress and reassured that their comfort guarantee meant if I was unhappy with it. I would receive an easy refund/return "no questions asked." Turns out the mattress they sold me was horrible. When I tried to return, I was told I had to wait 4 more weeks before they would even consider an exchange. No return options, despite what they told me. Then after the exchange the new mattress I selected was $600 less than the original. I was told I had to call the manager "Bree" to handle the refund. 1) I would call the store every day, THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE 2) when they did, they kept telling me the store manager was out, then on vacation, then in a meeting. All times they said they logged the call as a request for her to call me back. She never did. Finally when I did reach her, Bree stated they would not refund the $600 price difference. They would only issue a $200 in store credit. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. They are basically using predatory sales tactics and what I would define as stealing but not issuing proper refunds. read more

While their furniture might be nice, their customer service sucks, their delivery time sucks and there is no communication. I went and ordered furniture with a delivery date of June 1 and they changed my date without my knowledge or consent to June 4th. While it may not seem like a big deal it is when you are relying on the furniture to sleep on in your empty house. It's really frustrating that the systems don't talk to each other especially when one app says it's available on an earlier date and the other is saying a later date. Frustrated is not a harsh enough word to describe my feelings. read more

If I could 0 stars I would. My family entered this location on Saturday looking to buy basically everything since we just moved to the area. We walked around and passed at least 6 employees and not one spoke or asked if we needed assistance. In conversation with my family I expressed my displeasure and one of the staff overhearing (whom we had already passed by and he didn't speak) decided to ask if we needed help and we said not any more and left. We visited several other stores in the area and were immediately greeted and assisted. We decided to buy from Living Spaces and will never go to Ashley Homestore again. The lack of respect and customer service was appalling. read more

I am disappointed in the service received by the sales person at the alliance location last Friday. I found a tv stand that was perfect, I asked if they could match the price for the same exact piece I found online with NFM. Sure, no problem. Got the paperwork processed and then I realized I did not have the credit card I wanted to use to purchase the piece. The sales people sent me a link to purchase and once I got home I went online to pay. However, when reviewing the purchase I noticed the piece on the invoice was not correct. I called the sales person who promptly blamed the mistake on someone else ‍ I was dismayed that he didn't own up to him mistake but whatever...he told me it was too late in the evening to make the update, (it was 7:00pm), I was ok with him telling me he would get back with me the next day. On Saturday around 3:00 in the afternoon I finally called the store because I never heard from the sales person but was directed to a call center advising that the stores do not take calls. Well, that was it for me. I did not feel like my issue would be resolved so I canceled the transaction. On Sunday around 1:00 in the afternoon I get a text from the sales rep telling me he completed the updates to the order and I could proceed to pay for the furniture. He explained that he didn't call or update me yesterday because it was his birthday and he didn't go into work. I replied back that I was disappointed in the service and if he knew he wasn't going to be in the store the next day, he should have said so but he could cancel the order. His response was, ok, order cancelled. Would not recommend and will be hard pressed to shop at this store. read more

UPDATE: finally got my chair exchanged but no word on replacing the post! This was the 3rd appointment (the other 2 no one showed on the date)..how long is this going to take to fix? I'm getting so fed up!! read more
